Perhaps waiting longer than 13 minutes for a response might work...

I bought one today as well.  We shall see how it goes.

Nearly 1 month later and still no card.

They are telling me that they can't locate my payment.  Very concerned that I'm out the money and have been scammed. We'll see what comes of this.

Now apparently they found my payment and will be sending me the card... Over 1 month late.  We shall see.

I would do more turnys @ Seals if they had potty breaks
[5 minutes, top of the hour, LIKE EVRY1 ELSE DOES DAMMIT] Angry Angry Angry

Play on your android tablet and take it with you.  Most seals tournaments end up in the bathroom at some point for me.

Getting sick and tired of the doucbag beats.

Just got back from the WSOP.  Between live cash, tournaments at WSOP, Binions, Nugget and Pokerstars, I'm 3 for 22 of my most recent all-in's where I was at least an 80% favorite.  (haven't been on seals in a month or so).

That's poker.  You are going to have those runs, on any site, in any cardroom, in any format.

I just got a new cell phone and there is no easy way to transfer my authenticator key from the old phone to the new one. The easiest way for me to deal with this will be to turn off 2-factor authentication, then re-enable it using my new phone.

Just a hint (too late for you now)...  When you set up two factor using authenticator, do a screen cap of the QR Code and save to an encrypted folder on your system. Then any time you need to set up a new device, you can use the same QR Code and it will work.  You can also set up multiple simultaneous authenticators this way.

Even so if nothing untoward is happening he has unlimited funds and could play every tournament on seals and have mounds and mounds of  money left over so he has a huge advantage  over the regular seals player in that regard alone and is freerolling all the tournaments he is in aside from having improbable statistics. Ender is the house in that he is able to fund every tourney if need be through compensation he gets for his stakes program so that's where I say it is a conflict of interest.  playing poker should be a level playing field and he has a huge advantage any way you look at it.

So rich people should not be allowed to play either then?

Poker is not a level playing field in any sense of the words outside of the same rules should apply to everyone.  That someone has extra resources to take more shots at a tournament than you is just life.  Believe me, I wish I had more money cause I'd be dumping it into the WSOP.  It's not "fair" that Hellmuth can buy into every event and I can only afford to buy into a few.  But poker isn't a level playing field and that's ok.

A lot of the tourneys would not meet guarantees if not for stakes that are offered by Ender and the service he provides for seals is benefiting Ender as well as Seals I feel its a big conflict of interest and the graph he has is suspect .

I don't personally see how it's a conflict of interest.  If you could show he was donking off his chips to people he was staking or something, then I think you might have something.  But being successful at tournaments is not a conflict of interest.  Even playing in tournaments where you are staking others isn't a problem. It happens all the time.  It's only a problem if you start playing those players differently because of it.  And that should be pretty easy to tell just by watching him play.

There has to be some messed up algorithm with your programming or something. I keep getting like the same exact hands on different tables each deal, and this happens multiple times in a session.

This seems to happen a lot when multitabling on any poker site.  It's just observational bias in my opinion.

But just a quick clarification.  Are these same suits, same cards?  And displayed in the same order?  If this is happening with the windows or android clients and you see the same suits, same card values and same order across tables, then this might be something to notify the devs about in case there is a beta bug in displaying the hole cards across tables.

Also you should check your software to see if someone hasn't hacked into it and is able to see other players cards. It's happened for other poker sites, ones that deal with actual money instead of BTC.

The only way this would really be possible is through an virus or app on your machine that decodes your hole cards and sends them off to a third party.

I play NL10/20 two days in SWC.
How to adjust the poker window size?
How to take notes on players?
sometims I seen two 10/20 tables of 6seat but sometims no one. WHY?
Every time I can seat on a new empty table for every level in PokerStars, but SWC.
Sorry for my Chinese English Grin

The window size is currently not resizeable in the windows client, only in the web client.  The android app will resize to fit your screen.

The notes feature isn't working yet.

You can start any table you want with the table launcher on the web site.  I think there is a menu item to do it in the windows client too.

Sorry for my American English.

SWC is currently not running on a provably fair shuffling algorithm?
this clearly explains why some users tend to hit their 1-2 outers on the turn/river more often than not.

The shuffling algorithm is public and generally accepted to be the most fair way to pseudorandomly shuffle a virtual deck of cards.  It's the same algorithm used by all trusted poker sites.

"Provably fair" is a term being used to mean that the entire shuffle can be reproduced with a seed that can be publicly known or reproduced and independently verified.  The seed of each shuffle is currently neither reproducible or public.

Tis poker my friend.

Indeed...  and in most cases, it's really really bad poker.

I had a session in 20/40 one night where one opponent derided me all night on my "bad play".  I pretty much had him pegged and figured the best way to beat him was to play hands that would give me the best chance of taking his stack when they hit.  As such, every time I beat him, it was with "terrible" starting hands.  To him, it seemed that every time he got his money in, I hit with terrible hands.  That's pretty much right.  I folded hands that didn't give me enough value before they had a chance to hit.

At the end of the session I had won 4btc from him and he left bitching about how the site must be rigged.  The reality is that he was partially outplayed with the remainder being unlucky enough not to hold against my 13-19 outer draws.

Any chance of getting block chat to completely block the blocked player? Like their name doesn't show when they type and no asteriks or anything? Also to get it to remember who you blocked so you don't have to redo it everytime.

I think the windows client already supports that.  The flash client isn't likely to get many significant updates.

As I said, logging in will work just fine. And playing will work just fine as well. But there's no way to know if you're being attacked by a MITM-attack. The chances of an attack are extremely low, but why risk it? Just sit tight Smiley

Cert is fixed.

Hotel in Belize Accepting Bitcoin
by

on 23/03/2013, 02:14:07 UTC
Anyone want to travel to Belize?

A friend of mine is sending out this press release tomorrow.

23 March, 2013

Pedro's Hotel Now Accepting Bitcoin Payments

SAN PEDRO, BELIZE - Pedro's Hotel in San Pedro, Belize has started accepting Bitcoin as a form of payment in their Hotel, Bar and Pizzeria.  They will become the first hotel in Central America and one of only 4 hotels in the world to accept the currency.

Bitcoin, a relatively young digital currency, has seen increasing acceptance in recent months, particularly by popular online companies like Reddit and Wordpress.  However, brick and mortar businesses have been slow in understanding the benefits it brings to a local business.  The owner of Pedro's Peter Lawrence saw the potential benefits that Bitcoin could bring to his business. Lawrence said, "With Bitcoin we will be able to lower our transaction costs. It's perfectly suited to our type of business where nearly all of our reservations are taken online or over the phone."

Effective March 23nd, a newly constructed Deluxe Room will be available for 1 Bitcoin per night (price subject to change). Bitcoin will also be able to be used to pay for food and drink in the bar by pre-purchasing bar credit in the hotel office.

To check availability, make a reservation or learn more about paying for rooms with Bitcoin, email cindy@pedroshotel.com or call 704-990-8658 (US) or +501-226-3825 (Belize).  More information about the new Bitcoin option at Pedro's can be found at http://pedroshotel.com/bitcoin

About Pedro's Hotel

Pedro's Hotel has been one of the highest rated hotels in Belize for many years.  It caters to the budget minded traveler but offers amenities found in much more expensive establishments.  Pedro's has 50 rooms, two swimming pools, wireless internet and an onsite restaurant and bar serving the country's best thin-crust pizza.  For more information on Pedro's Hotel, please visit http://pedroshotel.com

About Bitcoin

Bitcoin is a peer-to-peer digital currency that can be used to buy and sell goods online without a credit card.  Transactions in Bitcoin are anonymous, irreversible and are completed with very low transaction fees.  For more information about bitcoin, please visit http://www.weusecoins.com/
