Only one rig right now, but I just set up Anubis. It is not optimized for litecoin though.
Here is my read only version if you want to see what it looks like. http://deadwoodlukemining.freeiz.com/read-only/allgpus.php

You can change all cgminer settings and even set clock speeds and stuff.

The card works with the newest bios!!! The problem now is that there is no display output... There is also no on-board video.

Edit: I lied, the vga for the on-board video was covered. I am getting video through that now.
Edit 2: I think I got it, installing drivers now. The bios update reset the settings.

Load failsafe defaults in BIOS? I dunno, that's weird. Does it work if you skip the riser, and plug in directly?
The card does not fit, that's why I got the riser. However the old graphics card works fine, I am going to work on updating the bios today but if I do it from windows it says the computer is not ready to flash or something. I will try the DOS version.

I would but it never even posts or has time to load anything from the hard drive.

Faulty riser?
I tested the riser with the unpowered x300 card that came with the dell. Worked fine.

I have just confirmed that the computer does stay on when I remove the extender but leave the graphics card powered. That is what I find weirdest about the whole thing.

Also, I have tried removing hard drive and DVD drive power, no luck.

I have replaced an old graphics card in a dell dimension e510 with a 5970 and a riser. I also put in a 600 watt PSU. The computer starts and the lights come on but it almost immediately turns off. If I remove one of the pci-e power chords the computer starts but the graphics card obviously does not work. I have tested the graphics card in another computer. I have tested the riser with the old x300 and it works fine. I have tried using molex for one of the power connectors. I'll have to check again but I'm pretty sure the computer starts withought the riser in and all pci-e power connected... I have also tried the riser powered and unpowered.

I feel like I am out of options and I don't know what to do...

Edit: I should also mention that I was able to run the 5970 and a gtx 670 on my main gaming rig with a 750 watt psu.
Sounds like your Dell is infected. Do a search on the internet for constant reboot windows.

It never even has a chance to post. Also, I can boot into windows fine with the old graphics card.

Just wondering, if i bought right now, how long would it take to get it set up and running?

Edit: I mostly mean do we have to wait for asics or are you using something else right now?

Yes we have to wait for ASICs.
I think I will wait until asics are more widely available and you get some, but then i will order right away.

Oh, On a compleatly unrealted note, Hooah!, Battlefield is leading the poll!

I'm quite surprised that an FPS hit the top, but I should've known that a lot of people with the high end GPUs needed for mining were FPS nuts Smiley.  I'm going to look into a lot of server options this coming week if everything stays stable.  I'm probably going to throw a public Minecraft server up this weekend just for fun though.  I have a dual SSD (RAID-1) server with plenty of RAM/CPU to spare, so it'd be a great Minecraft server.

BF3 will probably be the next game to get a BTC Guild server thrown online, and I'll look into posting some "official" times for people to try to log in for larger games.

BF3 and Minecraft will mostly be the "fun" games provided for the pool (and anybody else).  StarCraft 2 will likely be the competitive game where prizes are given out and a ladder gets formed.

Yay a Minecraft server! That would be really fun to play on. Let me know if you need a moderator for the server or something, I used to be a server owner myself.

Just wondering, are you going to work on a litecoin mining option? I saw a poll for it a bit ago...

Litecoin adoption has been suspended for now.  Given the amount of DDoS activity BTC Guild already receives, adding Litecoin is just another reason for botnets to attack.  Litecoin is already seeing a surge in botnet activity.  As BTC difficulty shoots up, Litecoin is going to be completely dominated by botnets due to being "CPU friendly".  The relative power of CPU vs GPU on Litecoin is very favorable to botnets.

Ok, that's fine. I have noticed that DDoS attacks have become much, much more common. Don't work yourself too hard.

I was just wondering is cgminer reporting an efficiency of 555% is normal. It is always around there btw, I use stratum.

Are we still being attacked? The website cannot connect to the database.
Never mind, seems to be fixed now but it is very slow.
