Re: BECOME A MILLIONAIRE OPEN PROJECT: Turn 100$ into a true life.

Doubling money 14 times.. that's all?

Well not only you need luck, because markets are wildly unpredictable. Making a 14 correct and successive moves has very very low probability = P14, replace P by 0.5 if you are taking random decisions, or even by 0.9 if you are a genius + extremely lucky.

But that's not it.

In order to double your money you need to go full-in each time, and wait 100% increases. This might happen only few times going up from lows 100->200->400->800->1600 .. you see where I am going. And that's only true if you're a holder, otherwise you need spot the ups and downs precisely.

Your next option is leverages .. but that's even worse. Besides, you don't need bitcoin to leverage.

If you are that good at trends, just trade options, oil .. whatever, not altcoins! why? volume! try dumping 10k in litecoin/doge Smiley

Anyhow, good luck!

what does that have to do with the Chinese?!
Well, that's how the Chinese gov decided to treat bitcoin: "commodity" rather than "currency".

Were they right? only time will tell

what are your thoughts on the declining value of all government currencies then?

It's called inflation.

duno why I'm responding to this though, your username indicates you're not worth talking to.
How dumb of a statement is that...

With the price going down, despite unprecedented merchant adoption, makes me think that merchants don't care about bitcoin, and this will keep crushing it. More selling than buying pressure.
This suggests that bitcoin is no use as a currency, the only option left is bitcoin as a store of value. Thus, the title...

OP, are you saying that we should listen to trolls?
They are confusing, but not right. The moment you listen to them, their masters will reverse the trend.

Still 500% in 1month is gigantic, only happens during bubbles.
I am mildly-bullish, I don't see BTC going 500% in the next bubble.. at best we go back to $1100 before a gia-normous dump (expect it from all those who are regretting that they bought in the first place).

and by 500% ... go figure.
The thingy doesn't even have enough hashrate to sustain itself.

Speculators are being played by big fish am afraid.

Currently I am at loss, which means BTC can go to $0, I am not selling. The only move I am considering is to diversify to other coins (too late for doge).

The question is: I believe many weak hands have been shaken (mostly > $600 holders).
The remaining ones are from < mid 2013. Are you gonna give up? and why not?

Registered with them and made a deposit in BTC.
Since two weeks, they didn't reply to my emails nor validated my account... It smells fishy!
I am giving them another week, after that I'll get back to you.

Purse.io gets most of my BTC business. I consistently get 20 - 25% off all of my amazon purchases. You should really try it if you haven"t already.

Thats what am talking about!!! Is it legit?

Why not buy bitcoins before a purchase that you'd normally do in fiat.. and get a discount as a plus .. Waw

I am not asking anyone to depart from their btc just use an replenish instantly

The "average joe" most likely won't ever use BTC and that's fine. Another crypto will fill the role of daily use. Bitcoin will serve the role of reserve crypto asset, maybe even used by nations to transfer wealth globally. We don't need the "average joe".

This is unreal.

tl;dr Use Bitcoin for transactions/e-commerce as much as possible, but let's not demonize holders either.

That's not my message. I just would like the medium to large holders to spend regularly whatever small % and replenish.
That would easily double the volume.

Partially true, partially wrong, OP.

I think it was user Rampion who phrased it something like "the long-term holders are the ones who provide the price foundation of BTC, and the shorter-term investors - and I would add: users - are those who once in a while primarily drive the 'growth spurts' to the next price level."

I think hoarders are using BTC as store of value (at best). But it's at their own risk. Cause it might also fail.

What I am proposing is a win-win situation. Using BTC will only make it stronger and more spread. Ultimately, merchants will keep BTC instead of dumping it immediately.

hoarders are also users, or at least potential users. Even for hoarders, BTC being bought and dumped b
by them are btc being used after all, right?

Not at all.
It's like Forex vs real life :: Speculation vs real value.
Trading on an exchange and using BTC daily is very different. The volume will be extremely organic and healthy.

Aren't you aware of the wealth storage role of money?

"The value of bitcoin is completely determined by what a person is willing to pay for it"
If people traded rocks, then rock will gain value. period.

Only letting people what's in their best interest will let us know if bitcoin continues to be successful or not.

You are then using the very effective phrase : "Believe me, I am an engineer"

How about being the cool kid using the cool tech.

We should try to increase our usage of BTC, in our daily transactions. It is the only way we can really come to trust this new technology and dump CCs.

Random idea:
On your next purchase on an e-commerce website accepting btc, buy bitcoins and use them instantly. Like a reverse bitpay.

What do you think of it as an actual business?

stability is what btc needs to gain credibility as a legit currency

I only partially agree.
BTC needs to be used daily by everyone who is lingering here.
