I have been testing it for over 15 hours now with HiveOS, 1 * rx590-SE, 1 * rx590-50TH (gold edition), 4 * 3060Ti => I must say that I am very surprised at the speed of the DAG generation compared to to other mining software, I haven't had any errors since, is this due to the verification via the CPU?
I have nothing configured because the advantage, everything is already on "1" or "enable" so the optimization is done automatically, because I admit the other software, we spend 2-3 hours to adjust a card for sometimes not much.
I notice you have really optimized for nvidia, I have one of the best results out of all the miners tested, with 60.300MHS with Vcore: -502 Mcore 2080 PL: 130
I don't know what he thinks about the others? I would like feedback because I am looking for or is the error even if there is none (maybe).
On the other hand I consume 70w more than most of the other software afterwards if it is the key to stability why not.

I'm running into an issue here. I recently bought an RX 590 (Gigabyte) and it has apparently a new set of Samsung memories (K4G80325FC) which are unrecognized in PBE 1.7.2 for the "one-click mod".
I would vastly appreciate if this could be made to my card, the BIOS mod.
If it is any help, it is a "Revision 2.0" model of the RX590 from Gigabyte.
Any extra information you could need I could provide.
I am only achieving 27.5 MH/s in ETH/ETC Claymore/Phoenix, when I was doing 30.5 MH/s on my old Asrock RX 580 (8 GB)
I am highly interested in making this work for these cards for everybody, so if you guys need any extra information about the card, just ask away.

I managed to update the bios of both cards.
Under windows with ATIFLASH, bug but not under linux with hiveOS
On the other hand on the card with the memory samsung K4G80325FC I am offered "Ubermix" 1, 2 or 3 Which one should I take? is there an explanation for Ubermix?
I tried Ubermix 2 and Ubermix 3 I don't see any difference!

K4G80325FC is one of the latest Samsung memory and it's supported since PBE 1.7.3. Ubermix doesn't fit on this type.

check: driver version and DAG "eres -1 or 0" not eres 2
Thanks but it doesn't solve changing the -eres to "1" or "0", I am using driver version 20.10...
Remove driver with DDU, and try other driver i have 20.5.x no problem

It has become complicated to adjust the software now for 1MHS! gain :/
It's not much different from earlier releases. The updates are for helping out users to understand things better.
As for the 1 MHs gain, it's significant, especially when you combine that with the power savings.
I read the two guides for my RX580 SE and test the V8, I didn't understand anything about the A / B / C system

So just trying this out on my 8GB Sapphire RX580 and it tells me it can't load the DAG because it's too large. This is odd because it's an 8GB card. Is there some parameter I am missing? Well I just re-read the post above and since I have same type of card, that might be the same issue..

- Polaris: Efficiency and slight hashrate increase. B-mode reintroduced for added hash. B-mode must be enabled with --eth_aggr_mode or --eth_config=Bxxx.
- Vega 56/64: greatly improved base kernel for efficiency. New B-mode that can shave off additional 1-2W on top of the A-mode kernel. B-mode must be enabled manually with --eth_config (--eth_aggr_mode does not apply). Tuning numbers have changed - do NOT keep your old static --eth_config values.
- Radeon VII: huge boost with its new C-mode but requires a special Linux setup. Can now do 100 MH/s on most air cooled VIIs. See tuning guide.
- 5700/5700XT: can shave off as much as 8-9W(!) of power using the new B-mode and dropping core clk+voltage. B-mode now the default mining mode. Unless you retune your core clk+voltage you will see a tiny power draw increase instead and not benefit from the upgrade, so read the migration guide.
- 5600XT: new B-mode has a much smaller effect. A-mode remains the default mining mode. See new tuning guide for more details.
- The dag cache is NOT compatible with the new B/C-modes. ETH+ZIL switchers have to choose between caching the epoch 0 dag and using the new mining modes.
- Ethash 4GB kernels NOT rewritten in this release, performance remains the same as in 0.7.x.
- See the migration guide for hashrate and power draw comparisons between 0.7.21 and 0.8.0.

I start mining ETH again and see that Claymore Miner is not running any more so i start to mine with Phönix miner- Hash Rate is good but i do need much electricity. I live in acountry with 30 cents/KWH. I have 5 RX580/8G -On Claymore i need 600 Watt in 2018 -now i need 1000 Watt/H -same settings in Overdrive N Tool than 2018 - I try write in BAT Datei cclock 1200 -mclock 2100 -cvddc 850 -mvddc 850 but bothing changed. Does ETH Mining need more power now or why is this so???
i have cclock 1220 -mclock 2020 -cvddc 825 -mvddc 825 => 145 on the wall.

5.5 works fine for 5700xt with a 1.5-2W drop per card

In regards to my issue with my first (#1) GPU causing me headaches in my 6x 3080 rig I believe I figured out part of the issue. I had added remote desktop ability so I could easily monitor the rig. This created "remote desktop display adapter" in the device manager. I disabled this driver and the rig has been running solid for 24 hours now. I believe something in Phoenix miner was confusing the 1st GPU and this display driver causing vrel and vop issues to pop up even though they weren't real and the card didn't need to be limited. Now that I've disabled this driver and am only plugging a screen into the rig I'm having zero issues. Very strange, but hopefully one that can be fixed so I can use remote desktop in the future.

The non stop problems the last few months and versions have been ridiculous. Have the same issues clSetkernelArg (-48) on many Polaris rigs.

because it is windows update problem, Microsoft force update of AMD graphics drivers. The speedest solution is roll back driver in device manager and pause windows update until the new phoenix miner version will be released
