Thanks for all your replies.  I'm also looking into implementing an affiliate program for both marketplaces.

What would you like to see in a Bitcoin Digital Marketplace & Freelancer site?
by

I want to start a Bitcoin digital marketplace and a freelancer site as it will help the community tremendously. What features would you like to see implemented in these sites? What fee structures? I'm thinking of 10-30% fees for the digital marketplace and 10-20% fee for the freelancer marketplace.

What do you think?

Features:

1. Exclusively Bitcoin
2. Quality review for both digital products and freelancers
3. Anti piracy system for the digital products
4. Affiliate program
5. Rating & reviews
6. Escrow
7. Free marketing for products & services
8. Services (article writing, landing page creation,  SEO, etc. )

everyone should take a look at https://modulus.io/, its managed node, mongodb hosting meaning that you dont have to worry about the server and scaling as they will take care of everything. (will it be taken down?)

the demo site in ios 8 on iphone 4s crashes the crome app. The sites loads on chrome for android (oppo find 5) but nothing happens when you enter your name, same thing on firefox/chrome for ubuntu.

nice work by the way. how many hours have you worked on this already?

Does anyone know which server hosting primedice uses?

There are two very popular card games here in thailand and i would like to develop them (they will be perfect with Bitcoin). The games are not hard to learn, and are mostly dependent on strategy with a little bit of luck. (you get 4-5 times the amount you invest in if you win and the game takes around 5 minutes sometimes just a few seconds.

Re: Beta test a simple automated bitcoin exchange + giving away 2 BTC + No beta fees

Where can bitcoin buyers get these USD cash codes, and how do bitcoin sellers convert these cash codes into fiat money?

There will be a directory of users buying/selling cash codes for cash. Users can also refer friends and family and sell them (or as a gift) the cash codes for fiat (therefore getting commissions from the fees two levels deep). Members can also sell the cash codes online for BTC or for products/services, users can also withdraw BTC and sell them offline or through an exchange. I just don't like the idea that any government or company can change the fate of a bitcoin exchange in a blink of an eye.

The question was "where". I want to buy bitcoin bitcoin from your exchange, who do I give my fiat money to get a cash code? Some stranger on the streets or web who gives me a chain of numbers?

We won't be dealing with fiat, you either have to deposit BTC or get a cash code from someone (either someone you know and trust or online). You could also refer people and get BTC deposited in your account.

I love bitcoin and I want to introduce as many people to it as possible. I wanted to buy BTC at a bitcoin ATM yesterday, I was walking around RCA (Bangkok) asking many people about the bitcoin ATM, no one knew what bitcoin was (not even foreigners) and pointed me to a normal ATM machine, I finally found the cafe with the bitcoin ATM (searching for it for more than 2 hours) but it's been out of service for over a month. I simply want to change that.

Re: Possible to receive payments with shipping address without 3rd party like Bitpay
by
deepbtc
on 14/03/2015, 20:54:57 UTC
you could have a simple plugin to

1. Get the user info (email, shipping etc.)
2. Create a wallet  (via coinbase API)
3. Get notified when when the payment is completed (using chain.com API)
4. Show order completion or redirect to thank you page.
5. Automatically deposit all BTC to the main paper wallet (optional)

It can be a simple php script (or other depending on the ecommerce script you are using) for $100-300.
feel free to contact me if you need any info or have questions.

I wont be able to test it but this seems to be something like arbitrage? Correct me if I'm wrong

Yes and no, I like to think of it as a regular bitcoin exchange, high frequency trading, and local bitcoin exchange (with cash)  as you can buy/sell bitcoins manually, automatically (HFT) and buy/sell locally with cash (there will be features similar to local bitcoins), I'm bringing all these under one service with added value, features, security, much lower fees (plus no deposit/withdraw fees) and much more.
