Thanks. Can you tell me why there were so many invalid shares?

Hi, this is miningpoolhub.
Your invalid shares are generated from previous block's hashing.

As new block is found from litecoin network, hashing miner needs to reset their current work and start hashing with new base numbers.
When the pool send new number for next hashing, all following shares generated from previous blocks are set to be invalid shares.

There must be little time between block propagation on network.
It cannot be zero as fast running car can't stop immediately.

As you are using NiceHash, which relay new hashing base number to different kinds of miners again, tends to need more time than normal miner.

It depends time to time, but it's normal.

Hello, thanks for explaining.

Could you also please tell me why the payout value is decreasing? As you can see in my previous screenshot, the payout was 21 and today it has become 19.  Huh

LTC Estimates
Block   19.39694819
Fees   0.19396948
Donation   0.00000000
Payout   19.20297871

You stopped mining while others continue.  They are gaining more shares while your share count stays the same.  To maintain your current number of coins, you will need to continue mining and match or exceed the hash rate for the rest of the pool.  When a block is found you will receive your percentage of the shares worth of coins.

Last block, around 8 million shares earned me 6.2 coins.

in my opinion, trying to fud of flapmans is so stupid that it is not necessary to be deleted.
He recommends to dump xst and buy pandacoin LOL
I think censorship should only be used in extreme cases, as happened in recent weeks.

That was funny, totally blew the posts credibility.  Again it was a fud bomb and nothing to do with XST.  He dropped that turd and left.  Probably never to return.  That is a perfect post for censorship.

Now yourmother on the otherhand.  The self declared, Destroyer of Stealthcoin.  All I ever see from him is "This user is currently ignored".  But I don't think his posts should be censored.  They are about XST, or rather his hate for it.  But they are on topic.

[Edit] WOW our censors are on the job!  yourmothers post was like a fart in the wind.

Heheh me too, usually.  I have much confidence in the Stealth devs.  Makes it easier to ignore the fud.

Seems to have removed us from the higher exposure, front end markets, and relegated us to a back corner in blocknet ito.  I don't see a way to do anything other than sell your xst for blocknet then send your blocknet somewhere else?
I don't get it.  XST to Visa was a better option, imo.

I personally despise moderated threads, but if your going to do it then DO IT.  flapmans comment was a fud bomb he dropped on several threads, and nothing to do with XST in particular.  And naturally some people cant help themselves and quote the fud spreading it even more.

[Edit]Not to Preach.
People taking things personally is how longandshort and the sdc crew kept fueling that fudstorm for days.  And the whole reason behind this new thread. So Chill, ignore the fud.  Don't spread it by reacting to it, especially don't quote it over and over.  You increase its validity even as you argue against it.

Propaganda rule #1:  A lie repeated often enough will become accepted as truth.

No I'm sorry, probably something to do with settings not matching equipment.  Like X11 setting on a scrypt hardware, or pool.  But if you don't mind me asking, how much Mhashes did you rent?  And How long did you mine to get that many shares?  Thats impressive, I might want to rent some of their hash power.

Can someone help me out here?
These are statistics from my pool. however, my LTC balance seems to show NIL.

I am new to this and I am not exactly sure what I'm doing wrong.  Embarrassed

Could someone also tell what each of these statistics means?

Where it says "Your Valid" that 6.9 million, is the number of shares you will get, when a block is found.  The "Your Invalid" are the 26 million stale shares you submitted.  Add the value " --no-submit-stale" to your bat file,

You will receive your share of coins, when a block is found.  So far this pool has only found 3 LTC Blocks in all its history.
The LTC Estimates say you will get 21 of the 50 coins if a block is found right now.

You're the user that ran up almost 7 million shares and 26 million invalid shares in a very short time.  Do you mind saying what equipment and hashing power are you using to do that?
Thanks

Hello, thanks for explaining. I do not have any mining hardware. I was experimenting with nicehash and rented Scrypt hashing power from them.
I am not sure if I was following the right method since there seems to be 26 million invalid shares.

Since I do not have my own hardware, can i receive my share of coins to any ltc address? I have updated the address at the automatic payout field.

Where else can I mine litecoin profitably since you said only 3 LTC block has been mined in all history?
wemineltc.com multipool.us
Many places to mine, but our blocks found per hash, is better than average.  With our low hashing power it takes a long time but the payout per hash has been above average so far.  Less people to share with in a small pool.

Yes you can send them to what ever address you want.

In the LTC pool this is the second time in a row its happened.

Someone with a hellacious piece of hardware, ninja mines for a few minutes, running up around 7 million shares.  More than the entire pool has done all week.  Last time to get that 7 million, it produced 19,000,000,000, Invalid shares, thats 19 Billion in a few minutes.  This time it only submitted 26 million Invalids in that few minutes of mining.  Mining pool hub support, told me it was legit mining the first time.  7 million shares in about 15 minutes.
That seems like petahash mining in a megahash world.

Whats happening here?  Very suspicious.  Or someone figured something out about scrypt mining, and is keeping under wraps.

Regardless 26 milliion invalids in a few minutes should exceed some threshold, but obviously did not.

I hope Hondo & devs don't get distracted by the Blocknet.

Keep your eyes on the prize! The anon send.

And what is the benefit of joining the Blocknet? I dont care for most of the coins already on the blocknet. For me they make us look shit (or risk making us look shit) by association. I dont wanna be associated (or risk association) with any shit/scam coins! How do you respond (Emilio or anybody else) to this?

What does XST gain by joining it?

I also have distraction concerns.  If blocknet is successful, will it dilute XST's adoption, being part of the crowd?(who knows)  If blocknet turns to crap will its stink be left stuck to us "by association"?(probably) That being said, Here's hoping for Blocknet's success.  We've had enough altcoin BS to last a lifetime.  It needs more credibility, not more scams.

Hondo has been exactly what altcoins need, a standup dev.  He and the dev crew are why I keep buying, holding, and staking XST.

Hi all
New to stealthcoin . I sent my coins from cryptsy last night and still no sign of them . How long does it normally take to reach my wallet.

Many thanks

Transfers generally take a few minutes.  Trex to my wallet is about 5 minutes tops, then a few more until confirmed.  But you're talking about cryptsy.  Their wallet has been down the last 3 weeks.  So delays from them is SOP lately.

You might open a ticket with cryptsy support, to run an audit on your account.  That fixed my short balance, yesterday.

[Edit] Although I am still showing a page full of cryptsy's staked coins waiting for deposit >10k.  With, 0 of 96 confirms.  It would be funny if it wasn't so... lame, sad, infuriating, suspicious.  I'm one of those few pro-cryptsy people.  But this fiasco has me watching them with much greater distrust.

Yes that is my XST cryptsy deposit address.  Feel free to use it for testing Wink

On the cryptsy wallet:
They're obviously having a problem.  Devs please be professional.  I cringed the other day, watching as one dev trolled the crypsty mods, for their wallet fiasco.  I also remember an old XST problem wallet, having to restart many times to get it to sync.  Mullick@cryptsy, claims he's having a similar problem and wrote a script to restart it every few minutes.  He also claims the random stakes paid out, because of a mistake setting, stake=0, in his script.  Who here, never did that?  It's plausible enough to give the benefit of a doubt.

Coins live or die on exchanges.  Stealth devs should be offering Cryptsy help, to get trade moving.  Rather than calling them amateurs and worse, in their own chat, and getting banned.  Devs, Please Pro-up, at least in public.  We buy and hold XST because we support you.  Just scroll back through this forum.  We trust and respect you guys.  You will get us all much more mileage with goodwill.  There is already more than enough fud to go around.

Whats the old saying?  You will draw more flies with honey, than vinegar.
Thank You

bittrex doesnt stake?

unless they stated pubclicly they do NOT i think it's safe bet they do in fact stake coins like any exchange would.

i have no problem with them doing it so long as i can get coins in and out of the exchange in a timely fashion.

and if they are caught sinking coins with 51% attacks then oh well they will get caught eventually maybe and ruin their rep.

Agreed, other than the possible massive conflict of interest.  IE: XST takes 3 days to mature.  It was #1 in volume for several days on trex.  Hard for coins to reach maturity, with all that volume flying about.  Maintenance would be a sure way to stabilize the wallet for a few days, and start staking.  "Hey don't mind us, we're just working on the wallet... for a few weeks."

The wallet has been locked down since that sdc rampage almost 3 weeks ago.  Coincidence?  I hope so, but wikilieaks has destroyed any trust I once gave people.  Anyone is capable of anything and then lying about it.  Especially those in charge.  Cryptsy has been known to ninja add coins for no apparent reason.  So there's obviously some kind of a back door there somewhere.  Could that that door be used to cause harm?  Only they know.

Even self admitted noobs claim this was a very easy wallet upgrade.   And the Stealth devs stepped up personally, to help those that needed extra attention.  Didn't take but a couple of hours and Mintpal 2 had a working XST wallet.  Nothing else worked, but they did have that.

Was Mintpal staking VERI, before the theft?  Is staking the reason they had 8 million of their customer's coins in an online wallet?
Anything can happen.  From "good ole boy" business practices, to bad security, to a disgruntled employee.

The takeaway?  Once sent to an exchange, "your coins are belong to them!"  They can do with them as they please.  As has happened many times already, You may never see them again.  Trading = Much Risk.  Not just selling low.
