3% is too low... try 10. thatll keep u in the market during minor up and downs and get u out on big drops
But if I use 0.8% gain, because of the fee, there is a real gain of 0.3% of the trade volume. If I successfully trade 10 times, my gain is 3%. That meens of I trade 33 times I have a gain of 10%. Then the market crashes... I sell -10%... so I am at 0.
How often do you trade successfully 33 times before the market goes down 10%
Which market is that stable?Or is my taktic wrong??
Is there a help to max. my gains with cat or what criteria must be at a market to go in with cat?

I am using CAT for a week now and I get small gains. The Problem is, within 2 hours my total gain goes to 0...
This was my problem:
I have set "sell all if price goes -3% of Ref-Price". And CAT bought some coins and sold it with -3%. This is ok for me, but then the value returns to its "normal". CAT bought even more coins and sold it again with -3%.
CAT made this 4 Times in a row because the value of the coin goes heavy up and down within 2 hours...
Is there a possibility to say if CAT sold all with -X% then please stop or pause and make the next ping only if I press a button or something?
Or what else can I do to prevent me from this situation?
I am still learning to use CAT and my invest is very very low (0.01BTC), no problem so far
I want to optimize the strategy before I invest more...

Can I suggest one thing too, for the markets window
Volume of the market on cryptsy can be very deceptive
.1BTC/day on BTC/LEAF would show up like 10000000 Volume where 42coin can do 1000BTC/day and show up like 10 volume (i did no math and made up numbers here), when you sort this LEAF will be on top of markets window (and is the same on cryptsy website why is this)
It would be nice if there was a column for volume in BTC, so to get an accurate picture of how much wealth is actually being traded
maybe I am just new at trading but that seems more useful for finding opportunities for gains yes?
Of course I could do with a calculator I just want CAT to do the work for me

This is a good idea, but i must use the "current change value" (i mean last market price) to calculate the BTC conversion.
I think this is a really good idea. Would love to see this in CAT 1.0
