Hey guys, I got my moonlander running pretty nicely 832 clock speed, voltages tweaked, and error rate under 1%.

Arent you guys worried about heat? Even at 600 the cooling thing at the bottom gets pretty hot no?

Version 3.2.7 (Development preview of 4.0)

Awesome Miner Cloud Services
  * Cloud Services is an optional subscription service that adds additional features to Awesome Miner
  * Web interface hosted in the cloud. All monitoring statistics are pushed to the cloud by Awesome Miner and can be accessed from any computer, tablet or smart phone.
  * Mining operations can also be controlled via the cloud without any firewall configuration
  * SMS notifications
  * Listen to Awesome Miner heart beat and send a notification if missing

(...)

Maybe think about something like pushover and/or pushbullet in addition to SMS.

I tried to move my AM install from PC1 to PC2 (after setting up all Rigs with NeoRouter). I did this with copying the config file from the profile dir.

I am now getting the following error (in the log) when connecting to my managed hosts:
> ProtocolException for channel: AwesomeMiner.Service.Contracts.ServiceContracts.IMinerService, 10.0.0.4:9630
( ... this line repeats a lot ..)

After a while, this results in AM thinking the Miner is offline and trying to restart. Which in turn leads to anything from Claymore running twice to repeated restarts.

I then thought, maybe the profile is wired - lets start over. I then deleted the profile and re-added the miners and their profile manually. The error is still there.
I have not re-installed the client yet. I am also pretty certain the network connection is okay - pings are stable with no lost packets or something.

Any hints on where to look or how to debug this?

Thanks,
Alex
So in the Properties for the Managed Host, when you check the connection you get this failure? Have you made sure that you don't have multiple Managed Hosts pointing to the same remote computer? Also, even if you can ping the remote computer, you may have some firewall that blocks the connection on port 9630.

When you say that Awesome Miner is restarting Claymore on the remote computer, then it still sounds like some connection is working. Or do the miners show up with "Service offline" as their status?

Hi - thank you for getting back to me on this.
- The error msg is from the log. The GUI seems fine and show no error msgs.
- not having multiple hosts pointing to the same remote: Yes. However, i may have had two AM instances connecting to the same remote computers..

I think it may be related to me beeing clumsy - i will take another look at everything.
Thanks Smiley

Awesome Miner must be running on a Windows computer - either on the same network as your miners or remote (at your home location) over a VPN connection. (...)

Is there any smart & easy way to connect rigs and AM via some 3rd party super-easy VPN Software? I thought about setting up OpenVPN but maybe theres a easier aproach? Just curious what people are using.

I cant seem to workout the correct settings for ETH with nanopool to have it send correct worker information.

Here is what i have:
Options -> Pool -> General -> Worker Name 0x.........a66c97d7cc90aa/[MinerWorker]/myemail@mydomain.com
Options -> Pool -> General -> Wallet address 0x.........a66c97d7cc90aa

Managed Miner Properties (right click my miner) -> Add to worker name (checked): RIG1

This results in AM correctly mining, but sending the ETH wallet as worker ID to the pool instead of RIG1

Id like to configure each miner with its correct worker name - which i thought would be done via the variable "[MinerWorker]" in the pool config (according to http://www.awesomeminer.com/help/workername.aspx ) - but either i didn't understood it or its not working Smiley

Could someone please post a working screenshot of ETH Setup with nanopool - or point me in the right direction?

Thanks
