Dear All,

one of my friends have 45 BTC in his pocket.(which was bought 5 years ago).

Need expertise advice how to use them effectively??

For someone in the USA, is it possible to have:

1) A desktop or online based wallet if you don't have a photo ID.
2) Ability to buy btc without needing to provide ID.

That is scary to someone who has had identity stolen before.

Crypto currency is a pretty good idea that is worth believing. The fact that it is decentralized makes it much more appealing and worth holding on to. Even with publicity coming out recently about Satoshi's identity, I'm still a firm believer that there's a future for BTC, and its present is somehow making baby steps towards mass recognition.

I think you should use Copay wallet, just like me, because it is universal and easy for use.

The feel and functionality of Copay is professional and business like. Secure and open source. You own your private keys and your funds. I like the shared wallet feature where two persons or devices needs to approve deposit/withdrawals. However Copay uses a new kind of wallet address, which no one else seems to do. This creates incompatibility with pretty much any exchange or other wallet. You can translate what they call old wallet address into their new one. But it seems to work sometime and sometimes not. The app is also extremely slow and lagging. I have a Nexus 5X.

This app is terrible. I have tried transferring BTC from Copay to Coinbase twice now and it hasn't gone through. It says the transaction was sent, but Coinbase is not showing it received anything. The transaction still says "unconfirmed." I even selected the "priority" transfer fee.

Stay away!!! They charge huge fees for plain transactions. Promised delivery time is false. I've got some Bitcoins worth 25 dollars right now in my Copay wallet -- and they tell me this amount is too little to pay for anything. Robbers and greedy cheaters!

Piece of junk, address generated for bch does not work, written by amateur, another app bitcoin cash wallet worked right away, wasted my time.

The fork is a change in the algorithm rules of the "centralized" currency and aims to improve the Network Difficulty Adjustment Algorithm.
The new algorithm change expects to adjust the hashrate difficulty to reach an average block interval of 600 seconds.
That changes in the algorithm leads to a derivation of the main chain, and a new coin is created, in which one of the coins continues with the old algorithm, and the other one uses the new algorithm.
When the fork happens, the old coins will exist in both chains, leading to a doubling of coins.

I want to start trading, but before i start, I am trying to study how everything works.
Can somebody help me to understand what makes prices of Coins and Tokens go up or down?

Jaxx, easy to install and sync with your desktop (QR Code scan), easy to use. But like CodyAlfaridzi said: It doesn't give you control over your private keys.
