From your white paper, it appears that you want to list all tokens in your exchange. Do you have any criteria of token acceptance? Are you going to list Jesuscoin - https://jesuscoin.network/

bitcoin gold is a stupid idea and bitcoin [whatever] will be the same. It will not solve decentralization in mining. At the end of the day, centralization will still happen with a country with the cheapest electricity, manpower and coldest climate, ie currently China or any upcoming power. Thats the downside of POW irregardless you use ASICS, GPU or CPU. ASICS is just making it worst. It's as simple as that.

The way I see it, we haven't really made much progress after bitcoin and ethereum. Some coins are better while all the others are simply crap, cloning after cloning. Its all greed and power and cloning bitcoin is the greediest and least effort to become rich overnight. But this its causing a lot of harm to the crypo industry and reputation. All legitimate potential alt coins project couldn't take off because everyone is re-investing in bitcoin again waiting for new fork and getting free money. The crypto market is controlled by traders who again don't really care about the future and innovation. Driven by greed, they can lower the confidence of good coins overnight by affecting the price for a long time. sad. period.

Technological revolution comes with heavy responsibilities. Greedy people just destroy the ecosystem. I don't believe you can be totally free from central governance and we are now seeing the side effects of it.

Re: Bitcoin Cash! Dead on Arrival?

BCC is a move by china miners, exchanges and asics producers to double or triple their earnings. They made it sound like a legitimate idea to scale bitcoin but with a very greedy hidden agenda.

Whoever supports BCC will further support centralization of mining in china, giving them the mandate to further control and dictate the future of cryptocurrencies. Might as well give them our wallet and let them tell us how much money is worth in there. The last thing we need is more centralization. I do hope the whole world can boycott BCC, let the price of BCC drop to the bottom and send a strong signal to bitmain and their gang. Cryptocurrencies belong to the world, not china.

Traders might play around with it for a start, but will eventually die off if the world don't support it.

If you do run a blog or news site, consider spreading the news to not support BCC.

when people think that ethereum will no longer be profitable and give up, chinese miners will be very happy. Mining centralisation will repeat, following the footsteps of bitcoin.

how much is claymore developer earning a day?
by
descarte
on 26/06/2017, 13:14:55 UTC
just out of curiosity, I'm thinking how much is claymore developer earning since everyone is paying 1% developer fee for using the claymore miner.

Take ethereum for example, there are about 26800 eth (incl. uncles) generated a day. Everyone that i know is using claymore miner, so thats 26800 x 0.01 = 268 eth a day. Using an exchange of 1 eth = $300usd, thats 80400 usd a day.

wow! my maths must be wrong?

minersource can't do much, likewise with all other distributors of blackarrow. its like a chain effect. everyone related to blackarrow is pretty much in deep trouble. Blackarrow is the sole culprit. they overestimated their outsourcing capabilities, overpromised and miscalculated the globalhash growth.

there is no way out except using law.

hydro powered colocation/hosting. interested?
by

on 27/05/2014, 00:00:31 UTC
hi everyone,

I'm from melbourne and have been traveling in and out of china for the past few months. I believe that electricity is going to be the major factor in bitcoin mining as the world pump up the hashrate. So i've been looking for alternative sources of cheap electricity in china.

I have a small mining farm in shenzhen. Recently, we've partnered with a hydro power company to offer cheap and green electricity to large mining farms. I can't give your the electricity rate yet, but it should be anywhere between $0.3 to $0.6 rmb.

We are still in the beta stage, so I'm just gauging the interest from the ground. If you are

a) currently providing mining hosting or has very high hashrate ( a few hundred to peta hashes), would you consider the possibility of moving your operations to china with cheaper electricity?

b) investing in large scale mining farms, would you consider building your farm in china running hydro power?

I am pretty open to options and more than happy to meet in real. Any ideas/suggestions welcomed.

cheers,
bernard

yes, i can confirm that my miner has not earned anything for more than 48 hours already. The pool looks ok but there might be something wrong internally or with the shares calculation. I might wait for another 12 hrs.

sorry, what you have is space science technology at that price. Good try, but the bitcoin community has matured beyond pre-order already.

What bitcoin needs now is stability, we don't want anymore scamming bad news in the press. Please retract your website or advertise only when you do really have the product. do the whole world a favor pleaseeeeee.
