Yes. I only want to be able to prove I have experience in the event I get a paid job in the future.

I lost all of my work to a recent hard drive failure (the backup) which coincided with the bank's refusal to pay my host. The site was shut down and, because I had no backup, it will be a while before that changes. The reason I am doing this for free is to build up a portfolio.

I'm currently going to College for Computer Science. I have taken courses in all of the previous languages mentioned except PHP, which I admittedly taught myself.

HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, and PHP.

I would suggest getting CoffeeMUD and modifying that to fit what you need. Comes with help documents and everything, and if you want to add some game logic that hasn't been thought up, by all means, do so.
