What are BLS signatures?

BLS Signatures will allow the DeVault blockchain to expand privacy protections for users as well as provide a scalability boost for large amounts of transactions occurring and automagically being aggregated into a single transaction, every block.

We will be launching a specialized public BLS testnet on August 15th with an emphasis on testing the network conditions of a post BLS transition network. We've tested the transition phase as well which is what is currently running on our standard testnet. The current hard-fork is scheduled for October 10th, but is subject to change depending on testing results.

The community has also passed votes to both increase the minimum for cold rewards to 25,000 coins but also to slash the future inflation by roughly 60% and/or 3 billion coins out of an estimated 5 billion.

The community is currently voting to reduce the inflation by roughly 60% starting in 3 months as opposed to 12 months, we will report back when/if the vote passes.

It currently seems to be passing with no issues; which would result in a reduction of roughly 3bln coins over the lifetime of the project. The new soft cap would become 2bln instead of 5bln.

This project was started out of a desire for something sensible designed for users and could last through all of the drama and problems crypto can throw at us.

The end goal is to supply a subset of humanity with a self organizing 'self-banking system' replacement built on top of the tried and tried digital cash foundations we all have learned work as of today, not 10-20 yrs from now and 5 billion dollars later.

We also hope to let the community control the decisions as this is the only way to avoid any 'CEO' types or the like running the project into the ground for short term gain.

We welcome any and all questions, thank you for looking into us, it's been a fun year since research and development began and the entire time its essentially been a fun bear market and we've been overshadowed by projects faking not only their trades but many other aspects of the project which is very disappointing to us as a community, hence DeVault!

We do not wash trade or fake hype to bring traders and most of our users are simply accumulating low while the ASIC pools dump for BTC so that keeps price low in this market generally speaking.

We are not looking into making it any more attractive for ASICs currently, but the community is free to suggest and alter the coin as they see fit as with most things.
