Does anyone know what the deal is with those streaming API depth updates with volume_int set to zero? The total volume still changes, breaking cumulative checks. It appears that about 5% of all depth updates are of this form, with some clustering with respect to the price.

This. Amazing how you could find the patience for writing all of this up despite knowing it will be lost in all the rubble in a few minutes.

Creative captchas are a better means for that. The current system is just completely gameable using widespread forum bot source and simple text templates.

This is completely untenable. A significant number of competent developers are staying away from this forum because of these posting requirements antics.
