Just to make this absolutely clear, in order to verify via the blockchain you must send two transactions of the specified amounts to any addresses from the address that has shares registered to it like the one displayed https://icedrillasic.appspot.com
For those of us who are still contemplating on keeping their shares, will IceDrill be doing direct shares since as a US Citizen I cannot keep my shares on Bitfunder after Dec 2nd.
Yes, our handling of direct shares is a necessity and should be considered a given. On Dec 2nd we'll be given a list of bitcoin addresses and their relevant share holdings. Exactly how we'll handle this share transfer will be made crystal clear well before that date (it's a current priority item).
It seems like they'll be handling the shares directly in-house. On that note, what will I, as a share holder in the U.S. on BitFunder, have to do to get my shares transferred to you guys? Will the dividends still be payed at the same time as those that remain on BitFunder? Also will there be any extra fees associated with you guys handling them in-house as opposed to those handled through BitFunder?

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to get my private keys from my bitcoin-qt client, it is encrypted and I think that's why it won't give them to me with a simple dumpprivkey command.
Anyway is it even possible and if so how?

Re: I am a certified Anti-Money Laundering agent. (AMLCA)
I am a miner, if I use Mt. Gox to trade BTC and USD back and forth (to make more money) will I have to get a money transmitter license as long as i keep it under $1000 of trades per day?
No.
Thank you, was seriously worried about this. Also if I do more than $1000 per day in trading would I have to get a license right? I think I would if I'm understanding the FinCEN document correctly

I would do that if the money still isn't there I don't know any specific way of recovering them. I've heard that you can do a hex by hex scan of your hard drive and recover them that way but I wouldn't know what to look for if you do, I'm a newb as well especially when it comes to indepth code things like this.

but I have also taken another personality test (Meyers-Briggs I think) and I got I/ENTJ (took it twice and got different results) I happen to consider myself a mapper the way it describes thinking is almost exactly the way I describe the way I perceive the world, kinda weird really.

What operating system are you running?
If it's Ubuntu or something like that then you have to run bitcoin-qt as root (using the sudo command). Just type "sudo" (without the quotation marks) and then drag the bitcoin-qt file into the terminal window. Then hit enter type in your password and it should run fine.

I got it working in Ubuntu, so I'll just use that since i don't use the computer that's the head of the mining for anything else.
