It continues its free fall, I think it will be below 50 like I said by the end of the week, perhaps even less, just a hunch though.

"Continues it's free fall" lol where is the free fall? 24hr-low is still 63 sat. You just trying to talk down the price, good luck. And didn't you "guess" the price today would be 50 sat..

I didn't hear he complaining when we were at 20-30 satoshi..

The higher DigiByte go, more of these bashers and trolls will arrive. We need to get used to it.

Can someone explain me this. If you send it and it changes addresses, you still have the .dat file to which you did the tranfer. If you take THAT .dat file, like stated in the OP, you should have all your funds right, because its the same .dat fi,le as is used with the transaction, since he overwrited it.

What am I missing Huh

Yes but he took a old backup and replaced it with the latest wallet.dat after he sent some btc. Make a backup everytime you have sent/received coins.

The 1.21 BC was in a single "chunk". When you sent 0.01, you made a transaction with one "in" (the "chunk") and two "outs": one sent 0.01 to whoever you sent that to, and the other one sent 1.20 back to you as "change". This second "out" was sent to a brand new address that you just generated. Since your old wallet.dat doesn't have the keys to this new address, you don't see it.

That's very odd. This is very similar to doing a backup and restoring it later.  if that actually happened isn't there any way to find out what is this new address?

What is odd?

If a writer has written 200 pages of his book and have it in a wordpad-file. Then he removes that file and open the last backup that only contains 50 pages.. well it will only show 50 pages and not 200, this is not odd. Make a backup everytime you use your wallet and save the old backups just in case.

On the first page at DigiByte homepage down at 'Latest DigiByte News' there are three old news from jan 2015 and oct 2014. That doesn't look very good, (new) people that visit the homepage might think the coin is inactive. A suggestion is that you put the news under 'DigiByte Timeline' from post #1 in this thread to the news on the webpage. That timeline/news from post #1 is great and it showing that DigiByte is under active development and that's important if you want people to buy/use a coin.

Hi. I'm new here. Great coin DigiByte and you got a really nice community here and Jared Tate seems like a amazing person. I read his linkedin, damn this guy has a lot of IQ.

I have some questions about using imported address/private keys.

I first used Electrum Digibit, but I now exported my private keys and imported them into DigiByte Core. Worked fine.

But I have read that its some problems/danger to import private keys. What happens if I spend or move some DGBs from one of my imported addresses? Will the change go to a new address? Or do I need to move everything from a imported address to a new address created with core version? I don't want my change to disappear Embarrassed

I know that if I use a wallet with a seed password, that if I use the seed to recreate my wallet, my imported private keys of course will not be created. But anything else I need to think about when using imported addresses?
