I was so excited when Tesla announced they gonna keep hodling BTCs.
Why is the price still going down despite the big announcement?

Went from 56$k to 54k$  Huh

Sell the rumor buy the news.. or something.

But was it even news? When I saw it this morning it felt like this was already "out", no?

Not the fact that Tesla takes Bitcoin. That were old news. The fact, that they have an own node and hold the coins. That were the awesome news.

It's totally natural market behavior, that we dump without any bad news.

That be called Koreck.

Get used to it.. This be called bitttttcoinening.

We have even awesome news, but we go down.

That be called Koreck.

Get used to it.. This be called bitttttcoinening.

That's a totally natural market behavior of a huge number of diversified market participants. I am totally sure of it. Someone mentioned a decline of shot positions whilethe market goes down. He mentioned also manipulation through high frequency trading... But I think, it is totally normal, that the market is selling of in a bull run with extrem bullish news. Sure... End of ranting.

That be called Koreck.

Get used to it.. This be called bitttttcoinening.

I am sad, because have no fiat for buy the dip.

While that is too fucking bad.

Did anyone ever tell you to ONLY pee pare ur lil selfie for UPpity ONLY?

That is a fucking ridiculous position to be in, especially that we are hardly even reaching a 15% price correction, yet.

Maybe we will get to a 15%, maybe not?

Maybe we will get to a 30%, maybe not?

Maybe we will get to a 50%, maybe not?

U has gots to be pee pared for these kinds of market corrections with dee king daddy.

They be completely normal.. even if der be some positive newses.

snap ur lil selfie out of it..

We are still in the $50ks, which is still a 5x increase in BTC's price since early September.. and if we were to drop to $20k or something like that, we would still be around 2x up from our September 2020 prices... not a bad place to be if you zoom out, but if you are ONLY pee paring ur lil selfie for one price direction, you are bound to be setting up yourself for disappointment both psychologically and financially.

Good luck.. seems like ur going to be needing it.

 Cry Cry Cry

How many percent from 58k to 42k did we correct? If I am correct, that's more than 15%. But maybe you math is another than mine.

Weird, when we have an inverse shampoo pattern or a W, we had a breakout, but this was completely sold back. We have 4k candles in the 5 minutes Charts. Sorry but that is not normal. Are Bots in some kind of war currently?

That's the most important news. The fact that they accept bitcoin is known for long!

But the JP-Morgan news last week should have us moved up the 65k easily. As a rich person you can buy Bitcoin from JP Morgan. But we are in  a highly manipulated market. This week the opion expiring will case market movement. We will see, if someone will dump on the tesla news as well... I would not wonder, if we go down again, because the market is manipulated like fuck! (sorry, the last 3 weeks of bullish news should have us moved so much higher, insted we testes 54k again?! Yeah ... totally natural market behaviour!)

bit of a fat finger or somthing on bitstamp. I missed seeing it live but chart looks interesting.

It looks like some guy market bought by mistake 150BTC, then realizing his 'mistake' he market sold incurring a loss of appr. $300K.

And that's in essence how the daily trading works  Grin

Looks exactly like that, pretty odd.

mmmh ... seems to working yet.

Sometimes it can be quite difficult to really know with any kind of certainty, and surely instead of a fat thumb, it could have been a pumpening attempt that failed.., but I agree that the fat thumb explanation does seem to be more likely of a scenario because such a thing does happen from time to time and sometimes is later admitted to or described as a factual scenario surrounding "large" price movements that more frequently happen on less liquid exchanges... but also sometimes happen on more influential and liquid exchanges, too.

when i worked back around 2011 on i told people at work about bitcoin. ......

.... but then again maybe not. bitcoin was too important not to spread the word.

This is a good point, vapourminer.

No matter the circumstances, there is a balancing that is needed to be considered, and in some sense, some of us might feel some kinds of obligations to have had spread the word, whether we are talking about 2011, some later date, or even now, and all of a sudden because we may have become rich as fuck or relatively richer than some of our neighbors because we move above and beyond ramen, we still might have some balancing obligations (surely, personal discretion in terms of how much of any kind of obligation that might be felt) in terms of sharing with others but maybe not getting too caught up into personal details.

I continue to frequently tell people (strangers and even people that I might only know superficially as well as persons that I know in more intimate and ongoing ways) that bitcoin is likely to be serving as one of the greatest wealth transfers that we have ever known or that the world has ever known, and sure you can remain stupid about it or unaware, but in some sense you are lucky that I am even mentioning such a thing to you and going into some details about my having had studied the space.  Sure, you have the right to do whatever the fuck you want in terms of "looking into the matter" or taking some kind of meaningful action or even ignoring whatever I have said to you about the topic.  I am not necessarily going to attempt to teach you anything beyond some informed questions that you might ask, but in a considerable sense you have been put on notice, and it is up to you regarding what to do, if anything.

Surely, my going into the idea of "the greatest wealth transfer in history" is going to vary and is quite likely to come out differently, and maybe at some point I might hone in upon some better formulaic ways of saying such things and to differ the pitch a wee bit depending on my assessment of the receptiveness of my audience.

As per chart below $57000 BTC is bullish .  And My Targets are $72000/$78000   Cool Cool Cool

We have been bouncing between 50k ish and 60k ish for more than a month now.
Zoom out to 30 days and check for yourself.

Sorry. I don't consider bouncing up and down between $43k and $58k as being "$60k".

I see it as the battle for $50k. When we hit $60k a week ago, I figured $50k was finally a done deal.

Well the same was true for 9000, we bounced of it constantly, just like we now bounce of 60k, that's what the vegeta memes was all about, hence my analogi.

Hey, we bounced also at the 50k several times... was no fun then ... I bragged about it, but finally we get beyond it!

Good Morning WOvians...

I thought we go up to a new ATH this night, but we go down a little... But today ist the day, where we went from ATH to ATH Cheesy

Btw. Yesterday I found out, that here in germany they made future trading basically impossible for private citizens.

Since this year, you can only remove max 20k Loss from your gains. All above doesn't count for tax calculation. You can take the rest to the next year, but you can only remove it from gains in future trading, not other income.

One example:

Loss: 30.000 €
Win: 40.000 €

Before 2021 easy: 40k - 30k = 10k and 25% taxes on it.

Now: 40k - 20k (max) = 20k and 25% taxes on it.

Now imagine future trading with leverage has sometime many more the these numbers.

This is highly unlawful (constitutional). Hope they win before court, but this takes time.

So the only way to gain more coins is to stake or to buy the fucking dip.

I am amazed. Germany outlawed losses [yes, I get it, more than 20K].
That's insane, sorry.
In US you could have 10bil gains and 10bil 3K losses, and you can subtract 3K, but ONLY 3K max a year, a ridiculously low number that did not change for decades (or maybe ever).
Around here, they compound something very fast when it is in their favor and never update something that goes in the opposite direction.
Well, bitcoin fixes this.

Yep, we are govered by idiots ... -.-
