If supercoin can do its job well, being fast anonymous transfers or FAT for short (just having some fun) then it should go really well.
Well done to those in the community that are bringing things together in a cohersive way.
Supercoin is a very fast transfer coin and being anonymous at the same time if anyone chooses, are really great attributes.
It really needs more recognition, having a solid community and history is very important.
The technical side of the anonymous transfers is also very important. Whatever level (for lack of a better way of putting it) of anonymity the coin poseses should be known and understood.

Ahhh, that feeling of staking 6,000 Super in a 12 hr period.

I remember when this community got hammered by others and I'm sure it was because this coin was such a threat.
In all the coins I have followed I have never seen such things happen as what happened with supercoin.
They succeded, and when there was nothing left they went away.

It doesn't show up in the latest ethereum wallet when you type in FUN. Other tokens work fine. Do you have a link to the contract abn?

From what I have read bitcoin will be going through a possible fork on 1 Aug. The outcome of this is not known and won't be known until it starts to happen and is realised.
This will effect maidsafe because these coins are on the bitcoin network. The future of maidsafe coins is now as uncertain as bitcoin. What is being done by maidsafe about this? what protections do maidsafe owners have?
It is even worrying that there is yet no mention of this within this comunity.
I think, BTC is very strong and rumors about fork are only rumors for market manipulation. MAID is solid project with light future, so do not panic.This will effect maidsafe because these coins are on the bitcoin network. The future of maidsafe coins is now as uncertain as bitcoin. The project may be strong but the value of the traded coins are only as secure as the what they are attached to.
Something will have to happen sooner or later with bitcoin and maidsafe are apart of that system, there is much reason to be concerned while this attachment exists.
There could be two chains, reply problems, and it could end up being outright war within bitcoin comunities, just because nothing has happened doesn't mean it wont occur.
When things start to happen people don't show their cards untill it is to late, so don't think you know an outcome before something happens whether now or later.

I dont think this coin has any incentive for musicians to use it because of the infinite coin supply and your assumption of future growth. There are many other crypto avenues being created for musicians to make money from their music, and more will probably come to light.
One of the fundimental lures of crypto is that they dont do what the banks do and thats make infinite money out of nothing, you are doing the same thing.
You can easily get caught in a downward spiral if at anytime not enough people use this coin. This can create its own catch 22 situation where it will not pick up enough interest, and if it does pick up at any time still runs the same perpetual problem.
It also doesn't incentivise musicians to hold onto their coins once earned for the same risks which adds to the problem.
I think musicians who want to make money will use other options.

How much money is really fair in developing this compared to how much is raised. It will be good to hear balanced understanding.

I may be wrong but I think they burnt through the ICO money and had to do some sort of other capital raise.

Ok so you totally misunderstand something here. First of all, GameCredits tech is NOT OUTDATED AT ALL. We didn't continue developing with GAME because we "had to be fair to our initial investors", we kept developing with GAME because it's an incredibly fast currency, with a healthy blockchain designed to handle millions of micro transactions, and has an incredible community supporting it. As an in-game currency it's absolutely perfect. Hypothetically we could add smart contract capabilities to GAME with some intense reworking and agreements from our community, however we realized this was an awful idea. Why bring on these capabilities and perhaps jeopardize gamecredits ability to act so was as an in-game currency for smart contract technologies that aren't pertinent to what GAME does? Instead, why don't we create a new coin that will be specifically designed for several decentralized solutions using smart contracts, and isolate what each does so we remain the best in both categories. I can assure you any competitor who tries to do everything under one roof will only complicate their token.
Also, running MobileGo means creating an immense marketing fund that will be used for acquiring millions of gamers to our mobile store, where gamecredits, once again, is the only cryptocurrency for in-game payments. MobileGo is not necessary to continue bringing GameCredits to the world as the best form of in-game payment. However, it will allow us to scale much quicker, develop faster before anyone can come close to catching up, and also provide those decentralized (yet arguably smaller) benefits to the Mobile Store.

1/ why can't the whole game credits be run on smart contract like mobile go?, All in one, Is the pow blockchain game credits, and the smart contract mobile go really necessary??
2/ Is pow really necessary can't mining be part pos and pow combined, pow is shown to be alot of wasted resources, so therefore is it the best way forward? and there may be a better way of mining so those with game cards can mine more efficiently and realisticly earn rewards.
Seems like you started with old tech then put new tech on top of it to make up for what the old tech couldn't handle. Wouldn't it have just been better to start up on completely new tech archetecture and build on it.
