hi guys,
maybe someone can help. i have a problem which i cannot really identify.
I am running 2 rigs which are completely identical. The first one runes 1709 win10x64 with beta blockchain drivers and does that pretty stable. sometimes the watchdog is restarting the rig but that's ok in anyway for windows.
The rig2 has the exact same architecture and hardware, but as i have been experiencing issues with 1709 setup and drivers i decided to go with 1703. installation is completely the same.
But after 2-3 days approximately the rig stops responding. the watchdog is not kicking in restarting the rig - i cannot figure out why. There is also nothing in the logfile which might help.
Any ideas? I have attached the last lines from the claymore logfile. btw. i am running 10.3.
Thanks so much for your help - i would be great getting those freezing state rid of. rebooting is ok, but it doesnt at some point....

This smels like wrong bios configuration...
First update motherboard BIOS! And then check these configurations...
- DMI Max Link Speed => Gen2
- PCIEX16 slot's Link Speed => Gen2
- M.2 slot's Configuration => PCIE mode (if you have M.2 slot risers)
- Above 4G Decoding => Enable

Is WhatToMine.com wrong? That is my question 
I have 8 1070 GPU's with combined power of 3600 Sol/s.
Using dstm's miner on several pools I always get less than calculated on whattomine.com. I'm talking about 30-50% less.
Example:
Mined ZCL on zclassic.miningspeed.com for 7 days.
I got in average 0.17 ZCL per day.
But whattomine sad I should get something like 0.29 ZCL in average for that week.
This is -0.12 ZCL less, and that is a big difference right?
How come i have such a big difference?
(WhatToMine calculation was made using $0 electricity cost)

Hi,
Since yesterday I have an issue : sinit timeout after GPU connection
I though it was a driver error so uninstalled/reinsitalled drivers, but nothing changes.
I then tried on a second RIG I have with NVidia cards : same issue.
In the sametime, Claymore Ethereum is working fine on those cards...
Any suggestion ?

Works with zcash.flypool.org but not with zclmine.pro.
Version 0.5.7.

If you have access to gen1 it's even better, will save up a few watts (maybe 5-8w)

I have solved my stability problem. Miner (PC) would often freeze and stop responding. Sometimes after 3h, but never more than 24h of run time.
And the solution is:
It is very important to set PCIE and M.2 speed to Gen2. Don't live it to Auto!
Using 8 EVGA 1070 and getting 3450sol/s @ 900W of power usage (about 430 sol/s per GPU)
Power limit 50%
Core Clock +150MHz (1657MHz)
Mem Clock +0 (3802MHz)
Best luck to all
And the solution is:
- Update motherboard BIOS and configure it like this:

- PCIEX16 slot's Link Speed => Gen2
- M.2 slot's Configuration => PCIE mode (if you have M.2 slot risers)
- Above 4G Decoding => Enable (if using more than 4 GPU's)
It is very important to set PCIE and M.2 speed to Gen2. Don't live it to Auto!

Your miners work ok after fork?
Actually difficulty on Eth has dropped drastically. I'm noticing my profits go up by the hour here. This is awesome news for us miners. Anyone else notice?
Difficulty dropped, making block time shorter. So, more blocks.
Reward also dropped, so, less revenue per block.
Net result is almost no difference in mining profitability - as intended in the upgrade.
