dimka, try this new version (1.0.5) and let me know how it goes: https://github.com/zackurben/cex.io-reinvestor/releases/tag/1.0.5

Still Getting it:

Do you only see the 0x1 error repeatedly? Have you used that API key-pair with another program that uses the Cex API? Does that API key-pair have full trading permissions?

I always get the 0x1 error

Have not used the API key-pair with another program

API key has all permissions

dimika, sorry it's not working for you. Mind if I ask, what version of the program your using, and your os?

Wait is this os only? Because I'm not running os. and im using version 1.0.4

This is platform independent, I was curious as to what operating system your using, to try and help debug the problem Smiley

I am running:

Type "arbitrage" in the search box.

You'd have to figure out how to get your fiat out of mtgox and into another exchange in less than six months.

Right now at coinbase I can buy/sell one bitcoin for 932, at mt.gox I can buy/sell one for $1018. Thats a crazy amount of money...
Yes, but the time it takes to transfer USD to coinbase after selling on Gox means what you're doing is effectively gambling--there's no way to tell which exchange will have a lower USD/BTC price once your money finally arrives, and the price of Bitcoin could change dramatically while your money is being transfered. Arbitrage sometimes works on smaller altcoins with fast transaction speeds, but since Cryptsy's (the only exchange that has enough volume with most coins to make arbitrage feasible) deposit/withdrawal systems are so incredibly slow/broken, it's usually not worth your while.

Well I knew there was a catch, thanks for showing me Smiley

Hmm, this seems to easy, I will investigate further, but your analogy isn't close, its buy and sell right away, just to another person for a little more.

Exploit?

Hey everyone, I just thought of this, even though it was most likely thought of, but here goes.

So there are many places to buy and sell bitcoin, some places like Mt.gox always sell around 30 bucks higher than coinbase. So what if we buy from coinbase and sell at mt.gox, isn't that a huge exploit?

Again I'm sure this was thought of but, could someone please explain?

I'm starting to use coinbase too, it seems like a good company, something I can put my trust in, but life's a gamble. Some people say that their money was stolen and then are going to sue, while others say it's a good company. I would personally go for it, just like I'm doing right now. Best of luck to you.

I joined Coinbase and got my bank account approved, then they locked me out, I try logging in and it just like refreshes the page, not saying anything.
I tried switching passwords a whole bunch of times and it still does the same thing, what should I do?!!?

Re: Price Drop Cause?
by

I too am curious about the price drop. Normally whenever there is major news that effects the price majorly, there are thousands of links circulating to media announcements. I can't seem to find any besides the coindesk article which everyone keeps referencing.

It may just be me hoping that BTC goes back up, but I'm thinking that there is some major price manipulation going on by someone who knows how to spark panic. Same with then China said that Bitcoins weren't currency, people got all panicky and then the price went back up.
Salty, your a veteran and a moderator, is this price drop good or bad, and what aesthetic chances of me getting a profit off buying right now?

Price Drop Cause?
by
dimka
on 18/12/2013, 06:03:46 UTC
Hey I am new to bitcoin, getting used to it and going to invest soon. The prices dropped today @Bitstamp to under $600 a piece. Is this good if you are going to buy them for that price? What is causing this huge price drop? Should I buy?

Thanks!

I didn't buy in at top, I'm planning to buy soon though since the prices are very low.
