All AED holders have until Monday 3rd September to swap their coins if they have not done so already. Please note that the swap is at a ratio of 1:4 however, those who purchased a MasterNode directly from the Developers will receive the same equivalent of a MasterNode, now 20,000AED

On 13th August 20018 DirhamCoin was the target of a hacker who used a Trojan to set up a botnet and mine AED through thousand of peoples GPUS who were unknowingly mining AED and giving the proceeds to the scammer/hacker. A link to this hack as per the Xeaven algo can be seen in the link provided.

What will happen next?
DirhamCoin did not sell enough MasterNodes due to the attacker setting up numerous MasterNodes and saturating the market, we were unable to fund further development and as a result, so the steps we are taking is to ensure the future of the project as well as cover anyone who purchased a MasterNode from the developers.
What steps are being taken?
We are about to release a new version of DirhamCoin with updated specifications as follows:
1. Mining algorithm update - Self-explanatory
2. Masternode collateral increased - Those who purchased a Masternode from us will be credited the difference.
4. Anti instamine increased - The number of blocks that pay zero to avoid exploitation
5. Proof of Work end - We have increased the POW end block time.
6. Max Supply - We have made the max supply available to view.
7. Reward - We have reduced the reward for POW, Masternodes, and POS collectively to offer those who bought Masternodes value for their investment.
8. Premine - We have premined 10.3 Million AED roughly 7% in order to facilitate swaps, Support Development, Pay Bounties and facilitate the Reserve as outlined in out White Paper.
Conclusion
We are ready to roll out a massive Media Campaign to take DirhamCoin to the next level, this was always going to happen and will ensure we hold our footing in terms or future AED value.
Due to the unforced attack on our network DirhamCoin reserves the right to refuse the swap of AED to anyone we suspect of malicious damage to our project.
