I'm using 4x 7970 cards, all on x1 > x16 extenders.
Was getting max 690KH/s per card, but with old MB, CPU and only 2 of those card I was getting ~730Kh/s.
I've changed priority of cgminer.exe process in Task Manager from Normal to High, and voila ~730 again per card
So just make .bat with start "cgminer" \high in front and it will run it in high priority all the time.

That's weird, does cgminer.exe use any cpu processing power for the 7970's?
I don't think so, but I've noticed on old rig that, for example when I log via teamviewer, hashrate drops. So that was my hint for CPU related issue. Don't know if I'm the only one noticing this, but it would be nice if someone else could confirm/deny this.
what settings are you using for cgiminer?
and what gpu/mem frecv ?

Thank you. I am looking into it now, though I have a sneaking suspicion that it is my old "friend"
hitting the CHNcoin explorer again.Yep. CPU at 900% and network so locked I cannot ssh in.
I will get them up ASAP.

BBQ and BTB explorers back up.
I will bring the CHNcoin explorer back up after I set it up to be isolated to the point it will not effect the other two explorers.

you gotta let that thing run for a while. leave your wallet open so you see the alerts when you have coin coming in.

I really like the way paul runs his pools, since I cant mine here, then I am rewarding his hard work by mining on his FTC pool. This really sucks about CNC though, they are also attacking bter and driving the price way down for CNC there last I looked people were panic selling when it popped back up at .00195...asshole ddossers.
