Nice one! We can take that under consideration for future compiles

Hi everyone

We are getting our selfs ready for the upcoming Stellite (XTL) v3 hard fork @ block height 100800 (XTL variant of the Monero v7).

After some discussion with our community members we reached a consensus about the miner and wanted the fee/donation (for fireice-uk) to be a choice for everyone and no obligation. We have a miner ready for you guys with a 0%, 1% and 2% dev fee to chose from; XMR-stak-2.3.0

XMR-stak-2.3.0 will allow you to mine on the new as well as the old chain for seamless integration to the new algorithm
https://github.com/stellitequestion/xmr-stak/releases

XMRig 2.5.x will work too(start with --variant=1), for the other CN miners it's those devs who can tell you more about the algo support. We verified both XMRig-2.5.x and XMR-stak-2.3.0.

A new version of the wallet is available too and needs to be updated as well:
https://github.com/stellitecoin/Stellite/releases
https://github.com/stellitecoin/StelliteGUI/releases

Pool operators need to update their daemons too and can be found here:
https://github.com/stellitecoin/Stellite/releases/tag/1.2.3.0

Is this real?

It really is, fork height set at 100800. No April fools joke Tongue

New wallets are released!

First be sure you have your mnemonic seed words safe, you can retrieve this from the old wallet. With the mnemonic seed you are able to restore your wallet.

Before downloading and installing the new wallet please be sure to remove the old block chain. This is the only way to be 100% sure you got the right chain.

Here a quick overview of how to do that:

for linux: You have to remove the blockchain folder from previous version so there won't be any sync issues. It is /root/.stellite (if you're runnning as root), remove the entire folder.

for Mac: You have to remove the blockchain folder from previous version so there won't be any sync issues. It is /Users/(username)/.stellite remove the entire folder.

for Windows: You have to remove the blockchain folder from c:\programdata\stellite remove the entire folder.

Here you can download the CLI:

Here you can download the GUI:

The installation procedure is the same as before and can be found here:

Some info about the past few days:

Why does the whole network have about 7.6 MH/s hash rate? but all listed pools add together only to have less than 1 MH/s hash rate. Is any big farm extracting these coins from their own pool?
What that doesnt make sense

It does make sense if it were true. It could mean that one farm could control most of coins and later manipulate the price.

It might be a Nicehash buyer. You also have to keep in mind that there are a lot of people who mine on private pools/solo mine. You can't expect to be able to add the network hashrate solely from the pools. This is the case for most coins. Even bitcoin which is the most known coin with little privacy has 10% of the network as "unkown".

Why do you mention Nicehash? Big losses at this Stellite price, Buying is much better. Only bots do not care the price because bots use others' resources. Centralization may kill this project. Redistribution of wealth to Hackers, Nice Project!

On what basis are you doing these assumptions, if I may ask? It's not even two months old and you are already saying it is being mined by bots? Why should they at this price?

Thanks for informing in timely manner ? just don't wonder why the coin will crush today and tommorow.i know hope you know

If that is the case it is better to do it now rather than over 2 years, I guess. Loving it though, sounds more crypto with an X in it Wink

Guys you cannot copy STL address for donation straight to your wallet .Tried 3 browsers . and Ctrl+c nothing works. And pls inform the people that the second line is not payment id . And explain people what is payment id .. before exchanges like cryptopia comes .. and they start losing STL on the chain. put it on your wiki site. looks great   .. and for the rest of the shebangs crying stop seling your STL and there wont be price drop selling 5 -6 usd orders come on really  .. start donating and help the guys .

Thanks for the info and I'll send these tips to the Dev's
But what I noticed with the STL donation adress could be perhaps a space which doesnt show?

Se321oJNkfaGrN89Vmq6qGZb8587L53u2NVZbCrhhJujemaGMVNmr952oEsQAKGFojevSWDNcJK8GS8 Sy4manyrG2okoPyvfa

after Se321oJNkfaGrN89Vmq6qGZb8587L53u2NVZbCrhhJujemaGMVNmr952oEsQAKGFojevSWDNcJK8GS8 i see 1 space.
then Sy4manyrG2okoPyvfa

so perhaps adress would  work if it was:

Se321oJNkfaGrN89Vmq6qGZb8587L53u2NVZbCrhhJujemaGMVNmr952oEsQAKGFojevSWDNcJK8GS8 Sy4manyrG2okoPyvfa

can't test it out myself atm no access to my wallet VM from my workplace i'll check it out tonight.

Can confirm that the space is causing the issue. Remove the space between xxxGS8 and Sy4xxxx

someone just made a joke about banging a head. i am waiting for this guy to banging his own head after realise that this shitelite will stuck for few years and then disappear just like shit flushed by water. anyone can share a short course about supply and demand to this guy, please? maybe he never got thought in a school. lol

better market will accept the big supply but priceless coin? what a joke  Grin

previously talking about the technology, but lately focus on expecting the profit. another joke in the weekend. well done  Roll Eyes

Yes, people will always talk about coin profit on this forum that's quite normal but other people are in it for the tech which one are you?
No need to answer we all know you are a troll and everyone can see.

First saying he is going to be a millionair by mining Stellite and next thing he is trashing Stellite. Troll or not, not very wise. Best to ignore him further, you get nowhere with that guy.
They are two different users, though they do have similar names.

I did not notice that! Thanks for the heads up and apologies to the positive one Tongue

Anyone had any issues with the mining pool, I've not had a payment in six hours?

If you are at the community pool, I just got my 6 hours due payment of 12k so I guess its solved!

Will there be another exchange in the next few months for this coin?

With the next Bisq update/release I believe, when that happens depends on them I guess.

Has anyone tried various miners and which one seems to give the best hash rate?

I'm a CPU miner. Tried mining with XMR-Stak, currently mining with XMRig. For me, Stak was much harder to setup and felt slower altogether. XMRig seems very stable and works like a charm. I recommend XMRig enormously.

XMRig seems to be the easiest, especially for newbies.

Going to try that one tonight for the CPU's.

I run everything on auto config in XMR-STAK-2.2.0 and did not find a lot to tune. The i7 6700k runs @ 320-340hs in XMR on auto config.

For me it's XMW-stak-2.2.0. Got a few more hashes per GPU and it takes the CPU out for a spin too. Example: GTX1070 8GB went from 675 to 700hs in comparisson to ccminer-2.2.4-tpruvot.

All of you are still using the Cli version or already moved to the new GUI wallet? Would love to get some input if you had any issues installing it.

And try to be as specific as you can in reporting your installation order so we can try to reproduce those errors.

Thanks in advance!
