So it looks like the real question is to hold or to buy Smiley

BTC below 10k, LTC $150, ETH below 1k, XMR $269... prices look so sweet right now

Nothing that real blockchainer should worry about.

Re: Original Artwork for BTC

I draw/sculpt as well, and I like the idea of offering a possibility to exchange my work for coins like btc, ltc, eth...
But, honestly I think amounts you're expecting to get are too high. I know this is subjective thing, and I have zero intentions to devalue your work, in fact I like the Mannequin piece but $110k is crazy high unless you are extremely famous and people will pay not only for artwork but for the prestige to have your piece in their collection.

Anyway, nice work and nice idea. Good luck with it.

Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ?

I see this more as a practical/technical question, not a moral one... One could argue trading, endless refreshing, late night alarms are kind of drug as well Smiley

Buying drugs remotely ( even with bitcoins) means you have to pick them in person ( home address, po box.. whatever your idea is...) and that means you can get caught really easily... Post office worker discover that there's something suspicious, call the cops and they wait for you when you come to pick the package... Maybe before it was more safe because it wasn't that popular... Nowadays, pfff... Unless you live in some very liberal country you're really playing with fire.

That's why shady business are always done in person with a backup plan Smiley

+ lots of people should EDUCATE... bitcoins are far from anonymous... Transaction can easily be connected to your IP and then you're done. As I wrote, true story about a guy here in my hometown... Cops got him within 72h because he thought bitcoins are untraceable. Kinda sad because he actually got 5 or something bitcoins... If he played it right he could get away and live prosperous life...

I wouldn't say it's a scam or Illuminati mumbo-jumbo  Roll Eyes But your points are in place.

My biggest issue is that I cannot use it for small transactions ( less than $100 for example) due to very high fees... That's why I personally find altcoins more interesting ( monero for example...)

Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die?

Well, if blockchain dies that would be a problem... Bitcoin no so much...
+ as someone wrote here on bitcointalk, for bitcoin to die, like really die and become worthless, something really serious would have to happen to mess things.. like braking encryption, corruption of the code, or whatever doomsday scenario you could imagine...

On the other side, possibility of btc value falling down doesn't automatically mean it's dying Smiley

Not that I'd try and buy things like that online but how can be safe to do such a thing using btc if all transactions are stored in the chain and with that information and a little bit of work you can track down the user?
Using VPN could help, together with mixing coins, but again... Using btc for illegal things doesn't sound like a smart idea...
On the other hand zcash could be more interesting for that type of transactions.

Example, a guy from my country blackmailed movie distributor asking for btc ( a big distributor) and got caught because once police start to look into the case  they tracked him down within 72h.

It's not really safe for most people, because they don't understand how to use Bitcoin or the internet safely. If you really want to do this you should do a lot of research.

One more pro-coinpot post.
I made two withdrawals, both LTC from coinpot to Exodus wallet... Both were good and within 48h time-frame.

So definitely NOT a scam.

I guess you can if you have enough coins in your coinpot wallet.
When you click BUY button you get the btc address that you're supposed to send your coins to...

Though, I am not convinced you'll get any profit since it's a so called ponzi scheme.

What is harkwork?
Hard-work or maybe hard-fork, hmmmh?  Roll Eyes

Joking aside, I'd say better question is what it will be worth, not if it will end... Since cryptocurrencies will exist in some form while we're living the digital dream...

0.3 btc in 15 minutes... That's around $5000...  Roll Eyes

It shouldn't take more that this to realize it's an absolute scam.
I even saw fake-claim for 3 btc in a day... Reminds me on those African princes offering millions of $$ via email scams... It can be yours within a week just send me $200 to pay some administration tax, blah, blah... pretty please...

Funny how anyone can fall for this.

Although I am a newbie just wanted to confirm they are legit.
Got my first payout. Just have in mind that 20k satoshis is withdrawal minimum.
+ it is definitely THE cleanest and leanest PTCs outhere.
++ auto-surfing is totally cool Smiley

p.s. for those with gmail account, most of the time confirmation mail ends up in the spam folder... just in case you miss that Smiley

Hello everybody,

My first post here, and hopefully an interesting one.

Till now I was lurking around, reading and learning and of course thinking about ways I could contribute both by getting coins and giving something in return since I love the idea behind blockchain and what it could become one day. And of course, I got few ideas. Some more some less complicated ( and one very complicated), but for starters definitely the simple one.
I worked as character artist ( 2d and 3d), illustrator and animator for quite some time now.

You can take a look at my portfolio here>>

djorzgul.carbonmade.com

So, to cut the long story short, if you think I could contribute to your project in any ( visual) way feel free to contact me. Most probably we can make a good and fair deal Smiley

Of course, any comments, questions and suggestions are more than welcome.

Cheers,

Djordje
