[ANN] WoofCoin / New Coin [WOFC] GPU Mining/PoW

WOOF COIN

Since the beginning of the pandemic, pet surrendering rates have increased dramatically around the world. Waitlists for surrendering household pets have increased to a remarkable eight months as animal shelters and welfare organisations have seen an increase of 34% for animals needing help.

Typically, animal shelters are under resourced and under financed; relying heavily on donations and the volunteer efforts to assist animals.

This is where Woof Coin steps in. As avid lovers of dogs, we wanted to make a difference. Using the power of Proof of Work mining, we’ve created a coin where miners are contributing to the donation of money to animal welfare shelters. These shelters initially include the ASPCA who already have a cryptocurrency donation mechanism but with intention to expand to the RSPCA and other organizations suggested by the community.

Our aim is to put animals first and we intend on developing ongoing relationships with pet shelters to help adoption.

Coins Specifications
21 billion supply
Block 2,100,000 halving (4 years estimated)

Re: ICO is the best way to invest?
by
dlhylton
on 29/03/2018, 17:27:49 UTC
Unless you really have a good amount of knowledge in the company launching the ICO and they really have great credibility, I would not invest in ICOs. Many ICOs have been scams and people have lot a lot of money investing in them. However, you can make money in ICOs. Just be careful with what you do.

Re: Hold out or sell Bitcoin?
by

The markets usually are down in the early part of the year, january, february, march and normally makes a bull run to the mid to the end of the year. I would hold on if I were you unless you really need the cash. I think a great time to sell out each year if you're going to is in the early part of December before the Chinese new year.

Re: Your favourite ongoing/upcoming ICOs
by

on 02/03/2018, 06:20:27 UTC
I am sure some ICOs are gold but there are just way too many. Therefore, I no longer research ICOs or look into them. ICOs are still largely unregulated and there's too great a chance of being burnt. However, of course, some are legit. I'm pretty sure most, though, won't make you rich. Therefore, I stick to the top coins.

Re: The best Airdrops that are currently ongoing
by

on 02/03/2018, 06:18:51 UTC
DeepOnion supposedly is doing an airdrop, even though I met all the qualifications and still didn't get any free coins. But many people have claimed that they have. After the experience I had with DeepOnion, I am no longer partaking in any coins that supposedly do airdrops. There's too many rules and there's no guarantee that you will get the coins.

Re: WARREN BUFFET says Bitcoin won't end well
by

Jamie Dimon said the same thing and then he said he regretted it. No disrespect to Warren Buffett, but he probably doesn't understand cryptocurrenices. It's totally foreign from the age he grew up in. If he meant just bitcoin, he may have a point, if bitcoin doesn't change its speed and costs. But if he means all cryptos, I would definitely say he's wrong.

Re: Bitcoin needs to die
by

What you said is true, all altcoins are tied to bitcoin. Usually if bitcoin is up, the altcoins are up and vice versa. However, if bitcoin fails, it can cast a negative shadow across cryptos in general, as bitcoin is the most popular. I think it's better for now that bitcoin survive but it would be fine if another crypto takes over bitcoin's #1 place. This is just my opinion.

Yes it's possible if you choose coins well with a decent amount of money and don't touch them.

Thanks for the assurance. I'm HODL-ing for a number of years. I believe in the coins that I have, in their real-world utility, so I know it will go back up. Not panicking at all.

I would also say NEO. This is not financial advice, but my opinion. But I see more potential in NEO. Ethereum already has a high market cap. NEO has more room for growth in my opinion.

I'm still bullish on XRP. With all the partnerships and pilot programs in the run, I think XRP will do very well in 2018.

Re: TRON (TRX) Scam
by

on 31/01/2018, 20:49:55 UTC
I too have been suspicious of TRON, since I first heard about it. I don't know the real-world use of TRON. I don't like coins that are hyped up. I like coins that have a clear real-world use and utility. I have not and will not invest in TRON. Something about it just seems suspicious. I could very well be completely wrong, but I'm just going by the impression that I have. Thus, I will not invest.

Re: Could the Bitcoin price by the end of 2018 only 4000$ - 6000$?
by
dlhylton
on 31/01/2018, 20:41:04 UTC
I think in the end the price of coins will be driven by their utility. If Bitcoin is able to fix their slow transaction speeds and decrease their costs, it will have greater utility and more people will buy and use it. If they do nothing to fix their slow transaction times and costs, then it will continue to go downward to prices such as what you listed over time. The best coins in the end will win, in my opinion. If bitcoin wasn't the first dominant coin, it would not be at the top. In fact, now bitcoin is used mostly as a store of value instead of a currency due to the slow speed and high costs. However, the lightning network could fix this if implemented.

Re: What ALTs am I buying in the dip?!
by

I'm also in deeponion. Seems like a great project. So far, I bought a little over 100 coins and may buy more. I've researched a fair amount about it and the technology and dev team seem really great. I believe the price can strongly go upward from there. And they give out free tokens. I think the future looks great. Enigma and Ethos, I know nothing about, so I have to research.

Re: Cardano (ADA) Coin - would you invest?
by
dlhylton
on 31/01/2018, 20:06:08 UTC
I invested a little bit of money into cardano. I have a few thousand coins. It seems like a great project. The team behind cardano is great. The roadmap I believe is a little long, so you have to be patient. But cardano is blockchain 3.0. It's going to be highly scalable and interoperable with other coins. Unlike many coins, cardano is built from scratch and is not based on ethereum or some other blockchain. They are building it from the ground up with the best features. Overall, a good long-term investment in my opinion. I'm not giving financial advice, just my opinion.

Re: Can I transfer bitcoins to my bank account?
by
dlhylton
on 31/01/2018, 19:57:34 UTC
No banks currently support fiat. They do not have bitcoin wallets. Therefore, you have to exchange your bitcoin to fiat and then transfer it to your bank account. If you want to store bitcoin, you need software that utilizes a bitcoin wallet. Usually you would want this online, since it's less susceptible to hacks. Storing your cryptos online is a little more dangerous.

Re: No future for bitcoin
by
dlhylton
on 31/01/2018, 19:45:15 UTC
Well bitcoin started it all off. Bitcoin is blockchain 1.0. Ethereum is 2.0. And cryptos like ADA, EOS is 3.0. Bitcoin I think will eventually be superseded even if it does take some time. However, successful implementation of the lightning network can make it stay alive much longer. So we'll see. Time will tell. If bitcoin doesn't implement the lightning, it will be a matter of time before it loses its top-seed position. If it does, we have to see how well this technology works. If it works really well, bitcoin may stay relevant for a very long time.

Re: Bitcoin is an asset or currency.
by
dlhylton
on 31/01/2018, 19:31:17 UTC
Bitcoin I would say overall is more of an asset, or store of value, than a currency. The slow transaction speed and more importantly the cost of transaction makes bitcoin largely unusable as a currency. What can be done to fix this is the bitcoin community implementing the lighting network. This can increase the speed of transactions and decrease the costs. This could make bitcoin be seen as more like a currency.

Re: Buying Coins
by

on 31/01/2018, 19:11:07 UTC
To buy coins at the cheapest prices, buy at exchanges with the greatest volume. You can see volumes at either livecoinwatch or coinmarketcap. Below in the markets tab, you can see the dollar amount in volume traded for each exchange. Exchanges with more volume have lower spreads (difference between ask and sell). Therefore, in exchanges with greater volume, you can buy at lower prices.
