Yup, looks like that worked for me as well. Thanks man!

To anyone trying to verify with ETH address and having problems.  Try entering the ETH address with no capital letters.  For example, if the address is 0x3F5d8A..., manually change it to 0x3f5d8a...

I just tried that out of dumb luck and it worked!

Glad I could help!

So I got the ETH to my address and sent it back from ico address but it doesn't verify on the alpha wallet. It just keeps on checking. I used ethereum. Anyone else having problems with ETH verification?

Yes, I'm having the exact same problem.  I got a message from HEAT support saying that if it doesn't work, they will credit it manually.  Wish I could verify it somehow though before genesis.

Anyone else having trouble with ETH verification?  My alpha wallet is just repeating "Received: Not Yet (next check...) over and over.  I received and sent the small bits of ETH that I needed to for confirmation, and the send is confirmed on the blockchain.  Been waiting awhile now.

Read the latest on SingularDTV, First Blood, ICONOMI and Augur at HEAT's Crypto roundup #10

http://heatledger.ghost.io/crypto-roundup-10/

I find it ironic that this blogger bashes ICO's based solely on whitepapers, yet that is exactly what HEAT's ICO was.  There was no testnet at that time, and devs released few details.  I wonder what this blogger would think of accepting not only BTC, ETH, and NXT, but a token that is generally agreed upon to be dead (FIMK).

I'm looking forward to the HEAT project and I got my fair share in the ICO, but still...

Iconomi, you just retweeted an article from Smith and Crown.  That article's first point is: "Due to the crowdsale structure and ICONOMI’s business model, ICONOMI will not return value to token holders until it’s generated as much money in fees as it raised in the ICO, what at time of writing is just north of $4.5 million. This will likely take many years. (1)"

Is this true?? This seems to contradict everything that has been said thus far.  Do they mean won't return the full value, or won't return any value (as in no dividends)?

Should the capital raised surpass 10,000 BTC, the excess will be invested in the invitation only actively managed ICONOMI.PERFORMANCE fund.

Does this mean that any investor who contributes after the ICO has reached 10,000 BTC will not receive ICN tokens, but will instead have "early access" investment into the Performance fund?  Or they will be investing in the Performance fund and continue to dilute the ICN pool?  Thanks in advance!

Stop bitching ladies. We all knew the conditions before we bought. If you thought fimk was cheaper, you should have bought fimk then bought in. Simple. jl777 destroyed the first stage of fimk within minutes anyway. Everyone else got in stage 2+.

Also remember that fimk is currently 1/4 of the ico price way back. It felt like the price was set to honor ico participants from dgex.

Regardless, we all knew the conditions from the beginning. This means no one had an unfair advantage. This fear of dumping is irrational unless you purely think heat is a pump and dump scheme.

This isn't quite true.  The impression was given that 10,000,000 HEAT were reserved for BTC investors, 3,750,000 for ETH investors, etc.  To now split up those coins equally across all investor types partially negates the premises that everyone was investing upon.

all can be avoided if only give extra coins to buyers who bought with other coins than Fimk...otherwise it will be a race to dump before the Fimk buyers

^I second this.

Note: Yes, I signed up just to post on this thread.  I like the looks of this project a lot and invested based on tech not price, but I don't think some investors should be favored over others.
