Same here

17925   2013-05-08 14:13:44   1:27:14   11634278   756   0.00000023   235160   25.21733124    97 confirmations left

But I have no idea how shares and rewards are calculated. It seems sometimes I have over 2000 shares and slightly over .001 rewards and sometimes I can have as little as 11 shares and have over .002 reward. And since I don't really know how the stuff works... I just sit back and watch it happen.

I got them all lol

17925   2013-05-08 14:13:44   1:27:14   11634278   2366   0.03827581   235160   25.21733124    96 confirmations left

My normal is 0.005 or so - This was 7 times my normal run

maybe that is where all of mine went.  Here is what mine shows for that block:
17925   2013-05-08 14:13:44   1:27:14   11634278   1521   0.00000040   235160   25.21733124    94 confirmations left

Site is up. But clicking on my account tab shows this:

SSL connection error
Unable to make a secure connection to the server. This may be a problem with the server, or it may be requiring a client authentication certificate that you don't have.
Error 107 (net::ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR): SSL protocol error.

We are close though. Great work Slush!!!

And now the site is up again, it is looking good but I will wait and not log in until Slush announces that the homepage is safe and sound on this thread. Great work Slush!

I agree. It is down again anyway. I know he is working on it, so I will check in later.

Good effort, slush, thanks.  I wish there was a 'thanks' button for posts, so we could share the sentiments of other posts without bloating the lone, long thread.   Thanks.

Mine are not connecting at all. I know you're working on it though. Just thought you should know.

I will wait patiently.

I am expanding my mining rig with two more 7970's tonight.  Hopefully the DDOS is over by then.

Any thoughts?

tiktoc, thanks for the info.  Based on that page things should balance in the long run.  However it still seems like it is well outside of tolerance based on the graphs on the link you provided.  Either way, I will keep at it.

On a side note, how come Namecoin rewards are no longer being awarded on a regular basis.  I am lucky if I get namecoins 1 out of every 10 blocks

Gramted, I'm new to this. But according to Slush's site, the payout formula is (25 BTC + block fees - 2% fee) * (shares found by user's workers) / (total shares in current round).

Can someone please check the math on this block to see if it holds true to the formula?

Total Shares: 18833717
My Shares: 1442
My Reward: 0.00036229
Block# 230220
Block Value: 25.58996000

By my math the reward should be closer to 0.0019

Thanks!

Sorry, but all of the other blocks have been coming in with good math except this one.  It is WAY off.  Besides, what you stated does not fit the formula that he is going by.

Based on what little research I have done, the value of BTC seems to dip whenever the difficulty rises.  As for the hyper inflation we have all enjoyed so far, it does seem a little scary to me.  Currencies are often tied to the political and economic climate of the country to which they are bound.  Since BTC has no country backing , the value is solely based on trades - much like a stock. The future value of Bitcoins are truly unpredictable.

I am probably wrong on many counts.  Please correct me if I am way off target.

Enjoy your day!

I am in the same pool.  Seems OK for now, but I have seen some math errors on their site.  However they have been doing a lot of system maintenance over the weekend.  Either way it shouldn't effect payouts.

Also, if you can, get an AMD based video card.  most miners run more efficiently with them.

This is only a test.  Had this been the real deal, you would not have been looking in a test thread.

Hello all.  Just started this crazy gig.  Looks like fun until the ASICs hit.
