[ANN] WoofCoin / New Coin [WOFC] GPU Mining/PoW

WOOF COIN

Since the beginning of the pandemic, pet surrendering rates have increased dramatically around the world. Waitlists for surrendering household pets have increased to a remarkable eight months as animal shelters and welfare organisations have seen an increase of 34% for animals needing help.

Typically, animal shelters are under resourced and under financed; relying heavily on donations and the volunteer efforts to assist animals.

This is where Woof Coin steps in. As avid lovers of dogs, we wanted to make a difference. Using the power of Proof of Work mining, we’ve created a coin where miners are contributing to the donation of money to animal welfare shelters. These shelters initially include the ASPCA who already have a cryptocurrency donation mechanism but with intention to expand to the RSPCA and other organizations suggested by the community.

Our aim is to put animals first and we intend on developing ongoing relationships with pet shelters to help adoption.

Coins Specifications
21 billion supply
Block 2,100,000 halving (4 years estimated)
Algorithm: KawPOW

CPU/GPU Fan Spins No Display
by

on 09/03/2018, 14:15:54 UTC
GPU: Zotac 1060 6GB-1, Zotac 1070-1, Zotac GT210
CPU: AMD FX4100
RAM: 20GB DDR3 Corsair RAM
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3
SSD: WD 120GB
PSU: Antec 750watt

I am facing a weird issue with my computer. I was using only one card (Zotac GT210) earlier then I added 2 more card (1060,1070) after that it stopped giving me display on the screen.

I tried many things like removing GPU's that I recently added, swapped RAM slots, checked power supply etc but that didn't helped.

If I restart the computer or shutdown and try to restart then it won't give any display and I have to pray to god for the display to appear.

I also tried to reset BIOS and it didn't worked either.

Is there any issue you guys are aware of that I need to look into?

Thanks!

Re: Electroneum Mining

there's a separate board for mining discussions. as for pools i have used a few, hashparty.io is good when they are up and electromine.fr, says they have spam protection, both have good hashrates, but the largest hashrate comes from nicehash.

as for wallets, github.com/electroneum under release. it's a bit complicated to use, basically run electroneumd.exe and that will download the blockchain, leave it running, then you need to run electroneum-wallet-cli.exe. to import your paper wallet run with this argument, --generate-from-keys You_Wallet_Name.bin. then it will ask for address, private key, view key, and password and then it will update your wallet to the current block. to send etn to cryptopia use the command, transfer Cryptopia_ETN_Address amount Cryptopia_ETN_PaymentID, you will have to try a few amounts before it goes through, i do about 3 etn below my available balance to account for the fees. other useful commands, balance, show_transfers.

electroneum has been good to me so far. i hope it continues after the initial sell-off.

I mined on hashparty.io and they send me about 1000 ETN. I checked on the blockchain explorer using my private viewKey and I can see that they actually did transfer to my ETN address.

The problem is, I don't see anything in my wallet. My balance is 0 24hours after the transfers.

Is it normal?

Try this, i had the same problem.

thanks!!! working i received my ETN. Smiley.

I have tried this it didn't work for me  Cry

Its been more than 10 hours but I do not see payment in ETN Cli wallet.

Any idea how log does it take for the payment to complete??

Re: Need suggestion with AMD and NVIDIA card

It is possible to use both Nvidia and AMD cards simultaneously.
For AMD cards, changing RAM timing with atiflash has a major role in GPU tuning.
Afterburner setting is also possible, but it has a little effect and you could ignore afterburner if it makes some problems.
Go mining with 580.

Will there be any issues like system crash/performance issue while using AMD and NVIDIA card on the same machine?

I have build a mining rig for a few friends and they have 5 cards , 4 RX 4xx/5xx series and 1 GTX 1070 from Nvidia. I have build them these cards in a ASROCK H81 PRO BTC and they are mining with Nicehash since early march. No problems reported. It doesn't depend on the motherboard though, even a Gigabyte ,MSI or ASUS motherboard will support both cards without problems.

If you are having trouble installing both, here is my suggestion which will solve all problems for you.
1. Download latest drivers for Nvidia and ATI cards
2. Download DDU display driver uninstaller,
3. Uninstall drivers completely with DDU
4. Restart and install both drivers, you should be up and fine to mine whatever coin you like.

Thanks for that info. I am mining on a old PC that I was using earlier for studying Virtualization, Server Management etc.

I have below rig, please suggest whether MSI RX 580 is going to work for me:

MB: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3-rev-3
Processor: AMD FX 4130
HDD: Seagate 1 TB
SSD: 200GB WD
RAM: Corsair 1*4, 8*2 DDR3= 20GB
PSU: Antec 750W  Gold rated
GPU: 1 1060 6GB AMP edition, will add MSI to it.
OS: Windows 10 Anniversary Update

Need suggestion with AMD and NVIDIA card

Hey guys, I have started mining Eth few days back with one GTX 1060 6GB card. Now I am planning to buy another card.

I have two options available:

MSI RX 580 8GB and GTX 1070 8GB. The MSI is cheaper than GTX. Can I use MSI RX580 along with GTX 1060 for mining?

If yes, how can I overclock both NVIDIA and AMD Card using same Overclocker like After burner.

I really appreciate help in this.
