Further to the release of our Northill testnet and completion of our schema and interop milestones, Dock (https://www.dock.io/) - a blockchain solution that enables businesses and developers to create verifiable credentials - is moving to the next stage of our development, the decentralization of the infrastructure on which Dock runs.

Until now, the sentry and validator nodes that power the current test network are provided by Dock. However, the network is now almost ready to bring on board validators to contribute resources to the network and we are seeking expressions of interest from validators wishing to participate in this first validator testnet and beyond.

If you would like to become a validator please visit our validator docs (https://docs.dock.io/validators) where you can find out more about; token distribution, technical requirements, existing validator tooling and the onboarding process amongst other things. dock.io provides a shared data layer for all consumer-facing applications to be able to share and sync data (such as work history, reputation, and network) across the web. Users will be able to transfer their data between applications and ensure that their information is always current, as well as have full control over which applications can access their data.

Remote.com will provide a catalyst for early adoption, but is one of many applications and platforms that will integrate dock.io. Look out for exciting partner announcements coming soon.
