Re: How to find online work that pays in btc?

If you are looking for actual full time work in the Bitcoin industry here are some places to keep an eye on.
Coinality is a website that lists various Bitcoin jobs for developers, writers, brokers, marketers and more. You can also follow it’s twitter profile in order to get live job updates. Another great way to find Bitcoin jobs is through freelancer websites such as Upwork, Freelancer and Elance.
Although Coinality usually consolidates those as well, you may still use different filters on these website so find the best fit for you. Another way to go would be to search for Bitcoin jobs. Indeed is one of the leading job boards around the world.
A sub Reddit called Jobs2Bitcoins displays a Bitcoin job board where you can exchange your skills for Bitcoins

Best answer so far, most reponses here don't understand  the person is looking for other options apart from bounties and ICO'S and that's what they kept suggesting, you deserve some accolade, wish I could give you merits. I also gained a lot from this

Re: Can Cryptocurrency Stand Without Bitcoin?
by

Truth is we have about 200 altcoins, now bitcoin serves as the go between for all these altcoins when you want to change your crypto to the currency of your country. So as long as any of the other altcoins cannot take its place as the number one easy to liquidate crypto, then it's remains numero uno

Re: What if Government bans Bitcoins?

As long as people still have apetite to deal in crypto,  a government ban on BTC can be made ineffective. At least drugs are banned in some countries, some countries èven ban pre marital sex and prostitution but as long as there are people willing to deal any ban can be rendered uselse's.

Re: wasted 3-4 months in bounty and at end got nothing ??

I was a part of korona coin signature campaign from the bountyhive portal after working of 3-4 months i get to know that ICO did not reached the soft cap and i was not awarded any thing....that has caused me depression now....how the hell i choose a good bounty...after doing some research users suggested me bountyhive is good and i got this...what now...how to choose a good bounty that atleast pays somthing...some say good bounty managers but some of those campaign pays as well.....which ico rating sites are best for this please help....

Currently which is the best campaign to join can anyone suggest.... Huh

I sympathize with you, I got almost next to nothing from a bounty I was in for 4 months, truth is no one can be an expert in bounty selection and no matter how you research and do your homework you can still end up loosing due to no fault of yours. This is the reason why the maximum time I will partake in any signature bounty is 2 months, and assuming I do minimum of 6 in a year, I should be sure of some good returns in at least 2 or 3 based on the probability of ICOs succeeding.

Re: What is bitcoin backed by?
by
donalfonso

Most currencies world wide are backed by the authority responsible for issuing and not necessarily commodities etc. These are the central banks or national banks of a state. In the case of bitcoin its backed by a combination of the people and technology behind it, that is the blockchain and the miners without  which the crypto currency will loose the confidence reposed in it and collapse

Considering airdrops are free supposed to be free funds, i dont see any reason to complain, if u get shit coins fine, if the are worthless fine, if they later appreciate good luck then. I think its important to join airdrops with very low expectations.

Most times you cant know if you picked the best signature campaign until after the campaign itself, however you can reduce the risk of enetering a bad campaign you can meet the conditions for the campaign, read up about the project and the team behind it

Re: Default Ranking-Up System as a Compliment to the current Merit System
by
donalfonso
on 26/07/2018, 18:26:01 UTC
The merit system really needs some sort of adjustments to make it more effective, but the suggestion above is a recipe for disaster. I recommend an   option in addition to the merit system or as an option to the merit system for people to rank up.The merit system as it is now is more of a mafia clique arrangement an upvote addition or option will make it more of a community type system.

I dont think anyone here can tell you a good signature campaign, because you can only know if the campaign was worth it after its oker and tokens distributed and it hits and exchange, best to do your own research and understand your risk apetite.

Re: The longer the bounty, the fewer the earnings?
by
donalfonso
on 26/07/2018, 10:00:07 UTC
This could be true or not, depends more on the number of participants in the bounty. Based on these the longer the bounty the higher the risk of it having too many participants which will reduce the stakes to be allocated to you

Re: Bitcoin nearing %50 crypto marketcap domination
by
donalfonso
on 26/07/2018, 09:48:22 UTC
bitcoin will always maintain market domination, first because its still the most liquid crypto ever, that can easily be converted to other currencies, so there will always be demand for bitcoin hence its dominance will continue based on this simple fact.

Re: Market can be manipulated?
by

Unregulated markets like that of crypto currencies are ideal for manipulation. However I believe to manipulate the price of any coin you need to have a significant amount of that coin, so exchanges can be ideal culprits in any price manipulation.

Historically autumn and winter are good periods for bitcoin and the market generally.  Infacct all my activity in cryptos through out this year had been aimed at that particular period of the year.

It is of utmost importance to the crypto currency ecosystem that not all coins survive, It helps to keep a healthy ecosystem and allow for good use of investor funds and market cap if some useless coins are allowed to fade away

I fail to see how cryptocurrencies will stop corruption. Infact I believe the decentralized nature of cryptos will allow corruption to thrive the only reason it hasnt started is because most politicians have not grasped what crypto currencies are all about.

One of the rules for most banks is not to operate in speculative or unregulated business ventures, until bit coin and crypto currencies fall under some forms of regulation banks will generally avoid or limit their participation  in it.

Investing in any of the numerous altcoins compared to just bit coin will give more profits obviously, but it could also bring you more losses. In the end bitcoin offers a bit more stability for your investments compared to the altcoins

Re: Do you think bitcoin redistributes wealth or just makes the wealthy richer?
by
donalfonso
on 19/07/2018, 15:33:48 UTC
I fail to see how bit coin redistribute's wealth or any other crypto for that matter, what it can do is create opportunities for people to aquire wealth and even the already wealthy will find a way to make the entire ecosystem work in their favour
