Synch, has this been distributed via a paid for press release service?
If not I would like to pledge $500 in BTC for a paid press release that gets delivered to premium financial sites like Wall Street Journal, yahoo finance etc. I know a service that will hit a ton of top sites and get lots of indexing on search engines like google and yahoo.
In the press release we can also embed images and file attachments like pdfs and even a video if we want. We can also link to the a news section of the XC site so people can keep informed (lots of people won't know about bitcointalk).
We haven't got to rush this and can spend time preparing it carefully.
I will cover the cost of the release and send you the BTC in advance. In terms of constructing the release and the content I will leave that to you and the rest of the XC team. I am impressed with how you put everything across. We may need to "dumb it down" slightly though, so it doesn't go too far over everyone's heads. My only input is that in the article we make a small comparison at some point to Bitcoin (something a lot of people know) and highlight the strength of proof of stake, XC anonymity etc. Comparing to things the public know already will be a fruitful approach.
I will discuss the company I would like us to use and anything else over PM.

I am a quiet investor of XC and feel the need to address the community.
This latest update is very upsetting to myself and some other investors I know who have invested in this coin. There is no direction to this coin and it feels so "rushed" with constant announcements which are
a) very poor in communication (See below) b) do not provide any real world technical information or value add c) add confusion to investors, I still have no idea about CACHe coin??? or REV2???
Why on earth do we need a TOR stick, anyone with a bit of time can put together a USB stick with an OS and a wallet??? Many people already run this through TOR with other software? This does not add value, it just confuses people. What happened to REV 2, this is now lost? Hows about you fix up the website FIRST???

Yes XC is trying to break into the anonymity market but dont make it something its not. This screams scam coin to most people.

I once had hope but feel as though I should just sell the remainder out now and take a small hit rather than keep being frustrated by announcement after announcement, rushing and poor quality.

I'm not going to comment on the fact that your account is brand new but I'm just pointing it out. However, I will address your point. First, a lot of people are actually quite happy about this because they understand that's its an extra layer of privacy. I would also say that it was well communicated but I could be wrong that this was . Second, sure you could do this yourself but non technical people, won't be bothered to set everything up, they want a plug and play product.
"The road map will be available tomorrow with the release schedule for REV2". Hopefully, all of these issues will be addressed by this road map that is coming out tomorrow!

I thought it was a re-designed desktop wallet? someone confirm.. also a live android staking wallet would be rad.... android wallet with mixer built inwould be rad also..imagine walking around all day with phone in pocket mixing transactions and collecting fees from people while you go about your day

Our anon features are well underway - we are being secretive because the simplicity of the idea is beautiful and we don't want it stolen yet. It will likely be open source after release.

The forum has a barrier to entry; one has to be approved. There seems to be some issues with the process as I have applied twice and heard nothing. I've decided simply to read the forum occaisionaly. It's a duplication of effort to read two streams and I prefer the open source nature here, even though there is a lot of noise.

The very first and smallest step was taken when we made the XC team known to the public in order to build trust in XC and further eliminate the possibility of FUD.
