Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.4 (Windows/Linux)

I can't get my computer to mine.

Specs:
Sempron 145
2GB RAM
990fxa-ud7
Windows 10 64 bit
RX 580 x2 (17.4.4 driver)

I get EthDcrMiner64.exe has stopped working. It fails when it starts to build the OpenGL program for the GPUs.

I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling drivers, as well as different combinations of driver version and Claymore version.

I am at a loss as to how to fix this. Please help. Smiley

Hi, I am not expert, but i think the problem is only 2GB RAM on the MB

Try to set at least 16Gb virtual memory in windows.

I'm about to get my 1070s next week (currently running 390/470/480/570 s), never did any mining with nvidia cards, but since it's close to impossible to get any 5xx ones I am willing to try Smiley
However I am totally in the dark with these, could someone please advise which OS I should stick to with the GTX 1070 rig, linux or windows, and which driver version maybe?

Thanks a lot.

If you would actually read the post you can clearly see the mining speed there.
I am mining with them since many months, none of the dies "died" so far.
Escrow IS also accepted with the sale, so troll elsewhere. Thanks.

Yes, I am willing to sell for the same price but expecting some haggling here, so added some additional margin for that lol...
Only selling as a whole for now, if noone takes it I "might" sell them separately later, we will see.

Ebay is a joke, they removed the listing because they do not allow bitcoin payments (i.e. they wouldn't have their cut from that...).

[WTS][EU] 2x KNC Titan miners LOT - 8 cubes, 2 controllers

Selling my two Titans. (and only as one package, not gonna sell cubes/controllers individually. For now.)

8 total cubes, 3 cubes with 4 working dies, 3 cubes with 3 working dies, 2 cubes with 2 working dies  and 2 controllers with microsd(gentarkin firmwares on both).
All of the cubes have cooling modifications (all dc2dcs have separate heatsinks, most of the cubes have high performance fans -noctua).
Total hashrate currently is around 480-500mh on nicehash, none of the dies were ever running over 300Mhz, by setting them to 325 it could probably hash over 500-550Mh/s (just an educated guess), you even could enable more dies, don't really have the time and patience to play with it (especially now, that's the actual reason of the sale), its running on the same settings as it was when I bought it.

4 of the cubes are kinda ugly on the outside (previous owner also did some heatsink installation in them and didn't really care about the metal case in the process, but this does not effect the performance (one of the cubes has the metal grille missing).
Three of the cubes has the power cord soldered into it with thicker cables..

The auction includes:
-8 cubes
-2 controller boards with microsd (gentarkin custom firmware bought and installed with long-term support - many added safety protocols and performance tunings)
-8 data cables (longer version)
-power Y cables for all cubes

Power supplies are NOT included.

I will not reset the configuration, just remove my pool addresses.

Local pickup is also possible in Budapest/Hungary.

Total price: 8.7BTC (plus shipping, will update if BTC/USD changes significantly)

Escrow accepted with SebastianJu (or maybe OgNasty).

Shipping ONLY to the EU

My rigs also seems to keep dropping according to the pool dashboard, however they are actually running and mining to the pool. Weird.

This is something else, but I keep getting this unsupported overdrive version error messages in the log with 3x 480x, they are mining nicely tho, it's just annoying,
what can this be?

Added to OP:

- Temperature/fan management for RX 480 is not supported currently. 480 card uses Overdrive v7, latest ADK SDK (v9) supports Overdrive v6, so currently AMD has no public documents about Overdrive v7 and therefore there is no way to manage temperature/fans/clocks of 480 cards.

I see, I noticed with this cards the miner does not show the temperatures and fan percentage, this is the reason then. Thanks.

How come nobody actually reads???

Don't dual mine SIA if you are running out of power or your miners are overheating, mine it directly without ETH and you will make slightly more until the next difficulty retarget.

7970/280x mines at 900MHS/s $3 per day per GPU ! You won't make that much with ETH currently.

I never even tried dual mining, only direct SIA and it still does 10c+ more on the cards compared to ETH only, really profitable on the mentioned cards tho.
