Re: [BUYING] Aged Websites - TOP DOLLAR $$$ - FAST PURCHASE
by

I have a 15+ years old wp site on 1 word dictionary .com domain name. I ask $3,000 for it. It has little revenue and traffic as the content and domain are scientific. The content was written by an academician years ago for mid $xxx. But it's not so difficult or boring to read for a random person. It receives some traffic from google searches, not more than 10 visits per day. I also have a 5+ years old site that receives 100+ US-CA-UK-AU visits per day but it has little revenue compared to its traffic volume. I ask $1,500 for it. Its content is women related. Please PM me your email or find my email in my profile to discuss further. I can accept bitcoin-altcoin-paypal with an escrow. I have around 5-10 old sites. I can offer payment plan with an escrow that accepts bitcoin-paypal and more.

Re: Will bitcoin replace gold?
by
dontworry
on 24/11/2017, 01:12:12 UTC
Main financial function of gold is to determine real value of fiat money. Because fiat money is backed by or is based on gold. If bitcoin can determine real value of fiat money better than gold, yes bitcoin can replace this function of gold.

Bitcoin can perform this function better than gold. Because bitcoin quantity is known more precisely, can be monitored easier and faster. So, scarcity of bitcoin is provable with less doubts than scarcity of gold. Therefore bitcoin represents base value better than gold.

It means, in the future, after bitcoin value becomes more stable, we may have to use bitcoin value to calculate real inflation and to compare price movements in the past and to estimate future value of investments. Bitcoin can slowly replace fiat money too, if this happens. Because bitcoin doesn't have inflation and doesn't have the drawbacks of gold if used as a means of exchange in daily life.

Re: Bitcoin can be hacked
by
dontworry
on 21/11/2017, 11:53:26 UTC
based on the assumption of: everything can be hacked, it does not exist a perfect system (if you are an IT expert you already know that), the only perfect system is a server not connected to the network without any input system connected and closed in a bunker, but also in this case there is the possibility to have your data destroyed, hence lost/stolen.
Stating that "there's everything to hack" without any explanation for me it's just a poor bait and i think you're trolling just for the sake of it.
Even the highest encryption protocol, the most complex and secure can be hacked but it would take time, so now, how long would it take to hack it? how long before the owner can take appropriate countermeasures? Does it worth the time/technology/you name it spent for the hack?
It's a good discussion field, but you are dragging down the discussion to the dumbest level possible, don't take the bait..

You clearly did not understand the point.

At the end of the day, it is about who takes the risk in terms of security. If you place your money in the bank, the bank is responsible for the security and if the bank is robbed you still get your money. With Bitcoin you need to be able to create bank-like security yourself, and if you fail all is lost.

If bitcoin can be hacked, what do robbers are waiting for?
Banks were robbed and some precautions were taken by banks+governments to encourage people to continue to use banks. As bitcoin has never been hacked and there is no owner of bitcoin to compensate a possible robbing, there is no precaution as of now. Because it's not needed.

The bigger risk is in banks. In case of an economics crisis all funds in banks can be frozen by governments. You are safer with bitcoin.

Re: Bitcoin soars $8000, Is this is the best opportunity to sell BTC?
by
dontworry
on 20/11/2017, 13:50:58 UTC
I think BTC will not reach to $10,000 suddenly. It may move between $7,000 and $9,500 for couple of times before $10k. Depending on bad news it may even see below $6,500. You may make more profit by selling and buying it again in the right time than just keeping it. I would sell for around $8,200 to buy it again for around $7,500, for extra 10% profit.  BTC keeps raising. The important thing is the speed of upward movement. Sometimes it raises faster. If it raises faster than before, I expect a drop or stopping the upward movement for a while. It moved to $8k a bit faster than its usual speed. For me, $8,000-8,400 is a good level to sell to buy it again for a lower price.
This is not an investment advise, is my personal thoughts.

Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money?
by
dontworry
on 18/11/2017, 15:53:07 UTC
Bitcoin is safe. Governments can block funds in banks when a financial crisis appears. I don't trust banks for my own money. Also fiat currency keeps losing its real value. Inflation is a hidden form of tax I pay while I hold fiat currency. Saving accounts may compensate my loss from inflation by paying me interest but my checking accounts in banks or my pocket money is subject to inflation. In the end, earning interest rarely protects my money from inflation. However it's not really safe to hold funds in saving accounts when a financial crisis appears and nobody can know when a financial crisis appears. When compare pros and cons, Bitcoin is better than fiat. Bitcoin is not a national currency of a country. It can not be affected by financial crisis.

Re: Paypal accept bitcoin
by

1) Do you think about this news will happen ?
2) Do you think paypal may accept bitcoin in next years (3-7) or it is impossible ?
3) Do you think bitcoin will be better than paypal ? when will happen ?
4) which better for now PP or BTC ?

1- No. Because BTC and PP are 2 competitor payment processors.
2- It's impossible, will never happen.
3- Bitcoin is already better. However altcoins are better than BTC in lower transaction fees and faster confirmations.
4- For now BTC is better. BTC is a newer technology than PP. Altcoins are newer than BTC.

Re: Amazon accepting Bitcoin - What can go wrong?

Amazon AWS has a large computing power. Is it possible for Amazon planning to use idle computing power to confirm BTC transactions selectively of Amazon shoppers? Can amazon confirm "some" BTC transactions instantly with zero fee?

I bought Nord VPN. It has 700+ days left to use.
Can I (or should I) change its email and password? Password change is easy but email change is difficult.

do not change any of the details, if you change anything, the account will close down

Is it safe to use it so? I mean is it legal? I don't want trouble for using account of someone else. Sorry I didn't ask before buying.

I see, thanks for taking your time but until now it's not yet confirmed..

sorry for the trouble ;-;

Low fee transactions may not be confirmed at all. Yours was confirmed 7-8 hours ago. It would take longer if I didn't accelerate.
