When sites go under maintenance does it kill the bots momentarily? Might make for a good natural rise for a few minutes?

Yes. Dumpers are being scammed rn. Its just like what happened the other day, someone was selling coins here and there for .0005 and pretty sure he stockpiled everyones panic sales. Probably made off with so much money. Same thing is happening now.

you've probably heard of moolah.io (twitter: @moolah_io), the brand new super duper altcoin service provider (exchange, escrow, tips, reddit gold, merchant frontend, buy-things-on-amazon and giftcards shop - some of those things are still in closed beta) based in switzerland??
a few days ago they asked via twitter which coins should be supported by their site. while most of you didn't get the memo were too lazy to retweet dogecoin, maxcoin, vertcoin communities were much fitter and had more success by simply spamming moolah's twitter account with requests. after those actions, a little bit later, they stated to support every altcoin that attracts their attention...(!!!)

So, I addressed a tweet to their account by today, something like

...and guess what they replied?

Impossibru! Let's make this happen! Bring UTC to moolah.io! Tweet like you never tweeted before!
We would have instant access to all their services and you would be able to spend your Ultracoin on Amazon soon!

Why only 25m premined coins for ~50m citizens? Who cares about having 0.5?
There should be billions of coins if you want to distribute for a whole country.

Just a suggestion,

move the crypto sex toys banner ad down the list so it isnt the very first thing people see.

I have no issues with sex toys in the slightest but from a new viewer perspective it associates the coin with sex instantly and thats not always a good thing. And should bigger media magazines/vendors take an interest and look a the site, they may not see this favorably as a first impression.

Its not a critique of the vendor or the website creator. I'm no puritan but with marketing you only get one chance to capture your viewer and anything that can tilt your favor has to be worth noting

Any guesses on what the current difficulty is? Heard this was currently very hard to mine, but that won't deter me.

It seems I'm too late to mine the coin, diff is too high, I only managed to get 6 or so.

Has anyone got a suggestion for a config for a 6970? I normally get 480-500KH/s on scrypt, but using "normal" type settings Im getting like 48kh/s, or with very strange settings I am up to 62kh/s after hours of tweaking. Its got me stumped.

Anyone else having issues with the eKrona wallet not downloading the blockchain?  Says (Out of sync) and has never tried to download it.  Haven't had that problem with AUR and installed at the same time.  

I downloaded the one from page 1, Mac client.  It doesn't want to connect to any of the nodes and so never begins downloading the blockchain.  Any help is greatly appreciated.
