Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions

Back when Juventus bought him, he was seen as the next big thing, the top goal scorer, and potential to do it multiple times. He wasn't this bad when they got him, or when they signed that deal, he was seen as a great striker who could do great things. But looking at him now, we all know that was a mistake and of course it is not making good money neither.

We need to realize it is not that great and we can't make a lot of money from it. So, we need to realize Vlahovic did deserve or at least looks like it would be a lot more but that doesn't mean that we should be blaming Juventus for paying that much, they just took a risk and then ended up with nothing good, but at least they tried and didn't refrain from trying to be better.
Dušan Vlahović was surely one of the big thing 3 years back, but sadly he fails increase his quality and consistency which is now problem for him at Juventus, and they are ready to offload him with AC Milan is surely going to be the best place for him, but his wages are problem for them.

He is one of the great players after Osimhen who is ending with bad contract Juventus bought him €66 million and now ready to sell on price of €25 million even few reports indicating they could be accepted €20, but his weekly salary is the biggest issue because no club is ready to give which he is taking from Juventus. Most chances AC Milan will be done with Juventus is also having few targets which needed to be achieved in few days this transfer is going to be completed in few days which will make relief for both Serie A giants clubs.

Now I can see why the bookmakers weren't considering India as favourite. Their batting line-up has collapsed in the first innings. England is playing a lot better now. The openers played in Bazball style and made a great partnership. England might end their first innings with a decent lead. The odds is completely in favour of England now. I guess I'm going to lose my bet which I placed on India on the first day of the match.
Indian batting lineup done good job in all test matches on this tour but still they are not reliable which is causing problems for them now in this fourth test match which is playing at Manchester their bowling is also looking crap in yesterday last session which allowed English team to have their bazball strategy which works.

Now England is in control of this match and series with today first session could be important because if Indian bowlers able to have few early wickets then surely they could be back into game otherwise England is going to have good lead which will give them thumbing win. Bumrah needs to lead from front sadly while he is in team bowlers always not able to perform which is big dilemma for Indian bowling just few minutes left in start of third days play.

Re: Have you been addicted to gambling in the past.

on 24/07/2025, 18:19:03 UTC
Of course, but I didn’t ask anyone to help me because I believed I could do it on my own. I just needed to be strong. It lasted for years. Until now, I’m still fighting the urge to play but at least I can control it better now compared to before, when I would just give in to my feelings and not care about anything, even if I lost all my money online. A strong realization and strong will are what helped me control my gambling addiction. Yeah, I didn’t quit, but I’m better at controlling myself now and no longer keep playing and depositing like I used to especially when I lose.
There is nothing wrong on seeking for help and maybe that can speed up your recovery process. It is hard to quit gambling completely because it can still give us an entertainment as long as we will only control ourselves. This is why like you, many are still holding for it. Maybe for some that cases are much severe, unfortunately the only way to heal is by cutting it off completely.

I’ve never felt like I was addicted to gambling at any point in my life. I’ve had times when gambling was a part of my life, but it never got to a point where the money mattered and it never had a negative effect on my life. If it did I would have stopped immediately. So I think I’ve always used gambling just for entertainment.
Maybe because you are a rich guy? Hehe, because for a poor person, even if we only lose small amounts, it feels like the end of the world already for us, lol. You might be aware already about the consequences if you treat gambling differently. This is the importance of sharing our negative experiences to other people because it helps them to not experience it themselves.

Re: Content creation
by

on 24/07/2025, 16:12:51 UTC
the world of entertainment has grown to another level and the good part of it, is that it has now created an opportunity for people to make money from it, people now stay at the comfort of their homes to create content and make from from views gotten from it, this is how the world is growing technologically but don't you think that both content creators and comedians are the same, is just that the name has been rebranded, another thing is that some people may not like to be attending life shows because of the money they'll be spending to pay for space and even drinks, most people will prefer to stay at the comfort of their homes to watch contents from different content creators in other to make themselves happy and thereby making those guys rich, I think I will be becoming one soon.
The competition is the toughest part. Yes, there are many people who are doing great job but those are just examples of good. Remember, there are many companies in the world, that does the same job, one makes millions, the other bankrupts. Same goes here, you can start today, do whatever you want to do, and then you may either make a ton of money from it and become famous, or you could end up with absolutely nothing.

So there is no guaranteed result for this and while media grew, and content creators are making a ton of money, we are not seeing that much change that quickly. It's still of course great, but considering competition, you have to be REALLY good to become bigger, otherwise you are not going to get that much greater.

Re: Are solana memecoins coming back? Bonk or Pump?
by
doomloop
on 24/07/2025, 05:55:01 UTC
I see AI meme coin rising up again after elon shilling it.
Solana meme coins always there never going anywhere and at some point it will get hyped up. In this case the fact that pump and elon's shill happen not too long after. The hype is going up again.

Silver lining is there is always hype out of nowhere that you can take advantage of.
Not completely, only memecoins that are well-developed and have utility can definitely rise again,
but the other 99% of dead memecoins will not rise again, more dev scammers create such memecoins with the aim of just taking profits and leaving them.

The sensation that appears suddenly or hype only affects memecoins with a strong community,
consistent developers and of course coins that have a good name.

Now that the switch from pump.fun to bonk.fun, this is a new era of memecoins that were born from bonk
because pump.fun are no longer in demand after launching their own coins but in the end are dumped and many are harmed.
Yes, if there is anything that should be going up, it should be new ones. I still do not have belief that SOL will have these kinds of memecoin pumps again, but if there will be any, then I am sure it will be new ones and not these ones. I get that it may not be great at the moment right now, but that doesn't mean it should be all that easy for any of us, and we should consider this as potential.

New ones get attention because old ones are all used up, it had its pump and dump, so there is no need to try, and nobody buys like that after a while. But when there is a new one, there is a hype around it, which causes people to buy, and when it peaks, people start to sell and that is how they make some money out of them.

on 23/07/2025, 17:52:20 UTC
Best thing to do is ignore and not reply and report and block them because if you talk to them they will see you as easy target and keep bothering you.
Some knowledgeable people still talk to them, only to piss them off. I guess this is one of the best revenge that we can give to them. Maybe they are now the ones that will block us. Imagine if many people are like this, I think time will come that they will think twice if they will still do such an action Cheesy.

This is not just problem on Telegram but on all messaging apps so staying alert and cutting off contact right away is safest way to protect yourself.
Yeah, scammers are everywhere but Telegram only got popular because it is decentralized, so you can get a message from random people directly, not like to others where it can usually fall off in the spam folder or message request first. Not all are techy enough to go on these sections, so the chance for them to get scammed is still much lesser there.

Re: "Is Bitcoin the ultimate savings tool?"
by
doomloop
on 23/07/2025, 17:32:50 UTC
Bitcoin is also a currency. I think you can say it is a tool because we can store money in here.

The total supply of Bitcoin is 21 million and it has historically held its value for the long term. This makes it relatively easy to send remittances and Bitcoin can be seen as a "digital savings account".
Its small supply compared to others is one of the reason on why its value can rise. Its high value is also what makes BTC popular, so like you said, it is now easy for us to send and receive money. But apart from it, its decentralization aspect is also one of the factor to make it possible.

By putting aside some regular portion, just like fixed deposits used to be. It is a type of investment or opportunity to make a profit. "Buy low, sell high" is an asset that you hold for the long term, not something that you "buy when the market is up and sell when it's low".
I thought we are talking about savings here? But yeah, it can act as investment opportunity as well. Buy low sell high is only one of the methods for investing but BTC is a type of asset that we can as well hold for the long-term. Buying high is also possible and it is called as DCA. Some can sell at low but it does not mean that they are now a loser.

Re: When you're winning you can't sleep

It's not that we can't sleep when we were winning, but actually, we really don't want to sleep or take a break and rest, since why should we consider doing that in the middle of our winning momentum? Cheesy  We will try to last long when luck is currently taking place.

But seriously speaking, if that winning gambler or a person that just come from winning in gambling previously or recently, can't sleep literally even if they badly want to, then that's a serious health issue.
Yes, it happened to me as well. It is like the excitement is still there but even if I try to sleep, I still can't. Maybe because I'm still overwhelmed of what happened? I think this is better than losing and then can't sleep. The reason is because we are thinking about our losses.

There might still be people that can sleep peacefully now. I already experienced all of these and obviously, the best is the last one. The last thing that you said may not be related with gambling anymore. You are still right there. It can be insomnia already and we might have this even before we got involved in gambling. It is a serious issue if it occurs consistently. There must be a remedy for it and it doesn't really mean that we also need to quit gambling and winning over it.

Re: BYD - the new Evergrande, but in the automotive market ?
by
doomloop
on 22/07/2025, 17:40:10 UTC

It's the revenue that matters in this case, not the number of cars sold. Because BYD obviously and as a strategy, sells for very cheap. For example, they have a model that is like 16-17k dollars here, whereas tesla is 40k dollars, so they need basically twice as many sales as Tesla to make the same revenue at the very least.

And they are doing much worse when it  comes to revenue. They are selling 55% of the cars, but how much of the revenue are they making? I can tell you that a lot less. That is literally why they are getting subsidies from the government, Chinese party keeps them alive, by paying them to stay alive. Not that they are doing terrible, of course they are making money, I just mean, they are not run like any other company, they are like one nations whole government backed company, so it makes sense how they can survive.

Wrong, revenue is important in every business, not just the electric vehicle market.

You are also wrong in saying that Tesla's revenue is higher than BYD's or that BYD needs to sell twice as many cars to have the same revenue as Tesla. In 2024, BYD's revenue is $102 billion, up more than 29% from 2023. Meanwhile, Tesla's revenue is $97 billion, down 1,1% from 2023. BYD is doing very well, not as bad as you think.

Yes, BYD receives support from the Chinese government. But what about Tesla? They also get a lot of incentives from the US government but that will soon end because with Trump's 'One Big Beautiful Bill', the US government will cuts off funding to Tesla. That would make things more difficult for Tesla in the future, and that's why Musk turned his back on Trump.
While I hate Elon Musk and even dislike tesla cars, I have to say, there are few different parts about this that I would argue against. First of all, we talked about cars sold, and we are seeing even in these numbers, Tesla seems only a small part behind, how could tesla sell so fewer cars, and be nearly exactly the same?

Secondly, that 102 number comes from China, and I have a suspicion about whatever comes out of China, I do not believe they sold that many cars, I also do not believe they made that much revenue, I do not have any proof, but I am sure they do not have a proof neither, they are just writing numbers, who can argue against it? And more importantly, China literally covers the losses for BYD whenever they made it, whereas Tesla only gets subsidies in the form of tax cuts, they did not receive free money.

Re: Will Bitcoin Hit $500k before the end of the decade as predicted by Jeremie Davi
by
doomloop
on 22/07/2025, 17:10:55 UTC
5 years ago, I thought that a 500K USD Bitcoin price is impossible. I thought that even a 100K BTC price was impossible.
Now I think that a 500K BTC price by the end of the decade is totally possible. It's not because Bitcoin is so amazing and unique. The BTC price might hit 500K because the process of global de-dollarization would accelerate, which would devaluate the US dollar even further.
Devalued US dollar means higher BTC price. However, the chances of a 500K price by 2030 aren't very big. Maybe a global recession might occur(caused by Trump's tariffs) or maybe World War III will start by the end of this decade.
Another problem is that such price pump to 500K should be supported by the US government and I don't believe that the Republicans will have a president in 2028. The Democrats will return to power and they aren't very friendly towards mass crypto adoption.
That was never me, and I am proud of that. I have always believed that bitcoin could be 500k, I never said a certain time, ın ever said it would be 500k in this date or not, but I keep saying that it will be 500k, it will be 1 million dollars to. Go back on my posts and you will see that I always said bitcoin will do great, and it will reach 1+ million.

Why do I believe that? Well I believe gold marketcap is high, and bitcoin should be even higher, and for that to happen, bitcoin price needs to go higher. Gold is the walkman, to Bitcoins spotify, we have seen technology improve in every aspect of our life, why not gold? Bitcoin is a digital gold and we have known this since the start, so it should be better priced and be higher.

Re: Why does war always affect the price of Bitcoin
by
doomloop
on 22/07/2025, 16:40:55 UTC
Is a simple analogy, if there is war, there will definitely be panic in the economy and people will be rushing to sell off the Bitcoin either to buy other things that they need or selling out of fear that the Price will drop because of the war, so for that during whatever war, there is always a market high volatilities because of the fuds that comes along with war.
This makes a lot of sense but where I'm having some challenge is that even when the war is between countries that are not big holders of Bitcoin, the price of Bitcoin still fluctuate and sometimes dump so hard. I don't know how to corroborate this with what you have stated regarding while proce dumps during wars.
Because the world is tied to each other economically. So if you see price of bitcoin go down, when two tribes fight each other, you still get bad results. Like some African tribe fighting each other, how bad could it be? How could that be about bitcoin? Then you check, tribes are near some resource, material, for EV cars to work and then you realize EV production drops, then you realize, that is based on employment because when those companies do not make money, they do not hire, or they even fire etc.

Suddenly, it all makes sense of course. This is how we realize that even if you are seeing war or anything disruptive really, the price would go down. Even if something like floods, earthquake, fires etc could impact it if it's at the right place .Hollywood fires did made the price go down.

Re: Economic differences between older and younger generation
by
doomloop
on 21/07/2025, 17:16:11 UTC
Many. For one, it seems to me, the younger generation is prone to live beyond their means. That's probably one of the biggest reasons why many young nowadays can't progress economically. Can't even save. They'd rather borrow money to watch a concert than save.
Actually, there are also lots of young people that are successful now. If only you spend more time in social media, you can see that many of them are business owners now and have improved their life with the help of the technology or the internet. There might still be young people that are like that you said but I'm sure their numbers have declined drastically.

But I'm not blaming them. In the modern times, there's just so many things to buy, to spend your money on. It isn't like this in the years of old. There wasn't even a movie to watch, no phone to buy. There was even no internet, water, electric bills to pay.
I think it is not about the thing but it is still about us if we have a control but back in time, there are already movies. In fact, theatre is popular before than now. There are also phones which are also more expensive than now. Although there might still be no internet that time but the water and electricity were already introduced older than it.

it’s all just high-risk betting in disguise.
Bots can read charts, but not team intentions - rugs don’t show up in TA.

In a market this wild, randomness isn’t worse than “research.” Just don’t bet more than you can lose.
If we are talking about normal bots, I think yeah because they are mainly built to auto-trade right? They can't even read charts. But, if we are talking about bots with AI, they are more advance and can even detect shady projects.

I think there are times that they only give us a summarization and it is only up to us to decide if we will proceed or not but only insane person is still going to proceed despite the red flags are already laid out. Randomness in a legit crypto is not worse but in fact normal only. What is only worse is we will invest blindly in a wild market like cryptos. With so many scam projects, there is a big chance of catching them.

Chelsea and Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Xavi Simons. While there haven't been any official offers yet, Simons is reportedly keen on leaving Leipzig. Both of these options are excellent options for the young player, who scored 11 goals and provided 8 assists last season. Xavi Simons is a player who can match the quality of the Premier League. What are your thoughts on this? Would he be successful if he moved to the Premier League?
Yeah really good that he scored 11 goals and eight assists previous season. So far, his goals and creativity indicate that he is ready for the English Premier league. He won't join Bayern Munich. Chelsea is interested and getting ready with a contract for him. Arsenal is keeping a close eye on him as well. But Leipzig wants 70 million pounds for him. You know, he has not proved that he is worth that much money yet, also hasn’t yet faced top-tier PL defences consistently. If he could adapt quickly at one of these big clubs, he would be a success, But that's obviously not certain.
He is just 22 years old with good future is waiting for him. He just played in Bundesliga and still needed to be had given his best if he is heading for Chelsea it's going to be good for them because they needed player like him.

Arsenal already have few good singings with price is also high for them because they are already added few good but Chelsea which is doing the good number of changes needed him for coming season RB Leipzig is having not good season and now things are not favourable for them in coming season as well just because of this he deserves to have good club. But, I have to be agreed with this spending huge amount on player who is risky never been ideal, but someone surely needed to be jumped into this if they are feeling good about him.

Usually trading with demo is actually good but for a quicker process or fast learning methods I wouldn't encourage someone to use their demo instead it's better to at least spare little money to trade in real account because Demo and Live accounts aren't operated the same way, there is much difference when you trade on both realistic accounts and Non-realistic account, you gain more life experience compared to when you are trading on demo and of course you wouldn't be that focused on demo compared to how you be careful while trading with real money, I am talking out of experience.
I think it only has to do with our thinking. Demo trading can be real-time too but maybe we are only too confident or can care less because we know that we won't lose anything here. If only we will treat demo trading the same as the real thing, then maybe there won't be any differences at all? Real trading must have a minimum amount for trades and I think these amounts are not that low.

So if we are only poor, we can't still practice or practice that often. This is why we might still be needing demo trading. We are often told here to not rush because many believes that it will only lead to disaster. So don't worry now, if you think demo trading delay things.

192 was chasable. After all the hard work in the first innings by KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja, it was a massive let down to get bundled out for 170 in the second innings. England didn't even had a quality spinner. Shoaib Bashir is miles away from achieving the sort of reputation that Jack Leach once held. So for England it was left to the pace-bowling quadrant of Chris Woakes, Jofra Archer, Ben Stokes and Brydon Carse to get the crucial wickets.
England scored 387 in first inning India also done same score even on one point India had chance of taking lead but Rishabh Pant run-out was turning point into this game because Rahul and Pant was doing good for fourth wicket partnership and things were completely favourable for India for minimum 500 runs.

In second inning, England were badly down due to slowness of pitch and quality bowling from India but here need to check one thing if England failed on fourth day of match on slow pitch then surely it's never been easy for India to chase this target even their best sides were never able to have chase in last 50 years their best chase was 171 and Jofra Archer, Ben Stokes and Brydon Carse done good job which was the main trigger  for India's lose.

on 19/07/2025, 15:41:49 UTC
Burnout occurs when a person is doing something that is not their business. You must foremost love what you do, and then there will be no talk of burnout. People who are not shy about choosing what they like best eventually achieve that they will be happy to work at home or in the office. Do not be afraid to change the activity that you do not like; try, study, and choose what is more interesting to you. Not everything in life should always depend on the salary. You are your boss. If you understand that at the moment your life depends on the money that you earn in an inconvenient place for you, in this case, in the same way, it is possible to form a way of thinking when you will not be burdened by doing what your life depends on.
Good, in my country, everyone is trying to create content on social media because it's paying very well, but most of them fail at the end because they doing it for money not for passion making them feel tired at some point. Imagine doing what you don't love for 3 years before getting paid, is that possible, no.

A singer don't need money to start singing, money comes to her for doing what she love, you can't get burnout writing and singing in 24 hours,  or possible.
Life after covid is going to be more stressful even many choices are appeared but still things are not working as all needed suddenly work from home concept increased and peoples starting about this, but many are facing difficulties which discourage them, and now they want to go back in office.

Few concepts have good results but still many are doing which were never been helpful for them so they tired and now wants again changes which are not easy due to restrictions or sources few countries are facing backlashes but still capable off handling things. Many countries are not capable of these changes and now having difficult situation which is bringing chaos or their economies are facing problems which are not easy to handle for them and things are getting worse.

After looking at the top teams in EPL and their signings so far this season as the transfer window opened, it's only Manchester United that's still lagging behind in numbers if signings so far. This is a team that we thought needs overhauling of most of its team players in order to bring in new ones but here they are still. It's just today that they secured a £71 million agreement with Brentford for Mbeumo. So far, two signings maybe they really want to explore the market and make better decisions instead of just buying players, just maybe that's why they are still behind in signings.
Ruben Amorim is sitting in swamp and watching how to fix this club miseries which are increasing instead of having any positive end too many big players with hug spendings now no club wants to buy them on this price which is the huge problem for them.

Now they already have two buying which are good and can give them something good but still many issues which are looking for fix before start of new season which is now having three weeks while they also needed to have some practice matches before start which give them something boost. Time is running out, and they are still standing where they ended in last season while things are looking for solution which is not around them hopefully they will jump and try to fix things before next season.

Learning from your mistakes is always expensive, but it is for this reason that the experience you have gained will never be forgotten by you. And since you have already analyzed the mistakes you have made, you can move forward by learning the wisdom of trading.
I think it only depends on the damage or the activity that we are doing, as you know there are still light activities out there but to do them not right is always considered as a mistake. A bad experience is a bad experience, so usually we don't want our selves to remind us on it again because it can only make us feel sad or stressed. But I don't really know, maybe there are still some that are like that you said. Maybe it makes them to stay motivated.

For some, they can analyse their mistakes but came into a conclusion that maybe they are not really meant for trading. This also makes them to move forward but in another direction this time.

Let's check out the odds again...

https://stake.com/sports/outright/soccer/international-clubs/uefa-champions-league/45372665-uefa-champions-league-25-26

Look at that! There is a big change recently. PSG were shown like the 4th or 5th biggest favourite by bookmakers earlier. But now they are the top favourites.  Smiley

But they had better watch out this time. Chelsea are also in it!  Grin  Joking aside, as long as PSG keep up the good work it won't really be easy to prevent them from a back-to-back title.

By the way, why in the hell are Newcastle given the same odds with Inter for the championship?
Changes will be happened till start of season because currently all are on same level with many players are going in and out which are bringing weight on them, but interesting thing is 5 English clubs are in top 9 which make me surprised.

After these 5 PSG, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Barcelona are others those are in top ranks no Italian club which is understood while after having this list I am not expecting any other club is going to challenge them for title race. Inter Milan lost coach and currently their depth is also not good which make bookies sure they are not going to have any good chance for staying into top ranks, but I am expecting some changes in coming days.
