Thx 2 all board members for the updates.

My shares aren't getting any divs and I need cash so I want to sell them to someone with more liquidity and time horizon.

I emailed fnnirvana 21 days ago about transferring into Havelock and no response *crickets*.

Do you know the correct process + forum to sell my shares?

Hi Havelock -

Are you still allowing ASICMINER direct shares to be deposited into Havelock?

I have emailed havelock and friedcat (fnnirvana) per instructions on your site with my correct deposit address and email and after 21 days have not gotten any response.

I'm trying to get bitminter v1.3.2 to work with block eruptor usb on windows 8 x64...

In bitminter, when I "probe all ports for FPGAs", I'm getting the error "Probe failed: No serial ports found" from Bitminter v1.3.2

I've installed Silabs CP2102 USB to UART Bridge Controller

And using Zadig to update drivers...

any idea why Bitminter can't find my eruptor?

This is probably one of the best investments mankind has seen in a very very long time. This baby is paying a sweet amount of dividend out as well as rising in value like a monster. God I love myself for buying at the right time  Grin

A board seat (5000 shares) sold for BTC500 at the IPO, and Bitcoin was around $13 at the time. Right now the last trade on BTC-TC was for BTC2.551/share, and Bitcoin is at $131.84... that's turning a $6500 investment in to over 1.6 million dollars in less than a year.

Decent.  Roll Eyes

Is it public knowledge who the board members of ASICminer are at this time?

With regard to growing Asicminer's total hash rate to more than the current 20s%...

An attacker who controls 30% of the network has a 20% chance of solving 6 blocks in a row...so even though we are not the dreaded 51% attacker, the network would still be exposed to some risk by friedcat having 30%.

Moreover - if friedcat does get 30%, imagine that competitor pools of total size 40% gets taken out (eg ddos). Now Asicminer's 30% suddenly becomes 50% of the total, and again we are the attacker.

http://deepfriedcat.com/   this website indicated AM hold 24% of hash rate of  entire network... but their first chart shows only around 14th/s...therefore they solo mining around 8.52Th/s.....and it not indicate in the first chart....4% lower than the highest point...I guess this 4% is due to sold out old equipments ..... 3TH for the USB and 0.5TH for the blade....look like we are close to to the top...once again ...I am guesses...

Hover over the lines, and check the dates Wink
That website isn't up2date (and doesn't include the received dividends)

Check out www.asicminercharts.com to get the hashrates of the last days.

would be nice to get some updates from friedcat on the status of said equipment swap.. i know he's busy but it would sure help with some shareholder confidence right now

No, I think most here would rather he focus on hardware swaps than browsing bitcointalk answering posts from sweaty investors.

touche!  Grin

In the stock market publicly traded companies talk to shareholders once or twice a quarter at most. We're lucky we get several communications a week Wink

So who snapped up those last 18x call options @1.9796 about 2 hours ago? I only managed to grab 2x, and was waiting for more funds to arrive. Come on, who was it?  Lips sealed

Where do you sell call options?

Re: What's behind the mining? Where is all that hashing power used?
by

It's solving SHA-256 algorithm - hashing the block header plus a nonce to find a value less than or equal to the current_target.
