You can find it by hovering over your username and looking at the status bar,
and the signature page will populate it correctly if you input it into the text

When I was first clued into Bitcoin I was trying to figure out fun things to do with my GPU. I had a decent one for the time, (laughably small and slow now), and I was telling my then-roommate about SETI@home and how you could search for alien life with spare cycles. He was like "why don't you try Bitcoin?" So I did. Much to his chagrin, as the electric bill was his to take care of. So yeah, basically I wanted to use a lot of electricity and put my computer to work while I wasn't using it. I've been hooked ever since.

I think that's very possible. They'll get tired of it eventually, I guess?

That's a great idea, and very generous of you. I was also thinking of buying some Onions for some family members
who have been dealing with me talking about Onions all the time for Christmas, maybe a QR code in a Xmas card.

A great way to get people into crypto who might otherwise be reluctant. Then they'll have a reason to watch

Sure, post here. But remember to post elsewhere as well. The idea is getting people who haven't heard the word interested in the project
rather than preaching to the choir. But here is good too. I'm still seeing a few people without their BTCT userid in their signatures, they're
going to be mighty disappointed come Friday if they don't fix it. If you notice it, be sure to tell the person so we don't end up ruining somebody's week

For me the main takeaway is patience, and having the courage of one's convictions.

It was like 19 bucks each the first time I bought one. If I knew then what I know now, jeez.

Better than telling people they can't join the airdrop would be to tell them about all the bounties available, and the DeepPoints airdrop which they don't need a minimum of Onions to join.
And the regular giveaways on the main forum, and the weekly Lotto. There are tons of ways for someone to get the 100 Onions, and we should be letting people know about these instead of just saying "Nope. Can't join."

This coin is nothing without people participating. Help people to participate, and we'll all succeed together.

you need to know how

You won't be too excited come Friday if you don't fix your signature, brother.

Bitcointalk ID #, the signature page sets it up for you automatically, you just have to find and
input that number. There are tutorials on the main forum that tell you how. Also, you can
just go to your profile page and look at the address bar, where it says "u=<5-8 digit number>",
that's your user id.

Also, you can just hover your cursor over your username and it'll show up in the status bar.

Hey man, you need to fix your signature in order to be considered for the airdrop.

You currently have "XXXXXX" for your referral code, and it should be your bitcointalk
user id #, which you can find by hovering over your username and taking note of the number there.
It does ask you for this and automatically fills it in in all the right places on the signature page, you just
have to go find it.
