Bitcoins is not yet a legal currency cause not all countries, world bodies have accepted or recognise it. You wrote so much and how come you fail to understand that this coin cannot be controlled by anyone, no one can manipulate it and most of all governments cannot find out who owns it or make you pay taxes. There is a huge hassle process and it's expensive to track it, make a whole set of laws. You get the point don't you.
This is because politicians are concerned more about their own interests than the benefits offered by crypto. With time, it will get unstoppable though.

When prices dropped from $19k to $7k , it made me scare a lot. But now that I have seen so many ups and downs, I am very much resistant to these price movements now.

Re: Bounty Campaign are wastage of time?

If you take part in a fraud bounty and do not get paid at last, it is completes waste of time. So spend more time searching genuine bounties here, I like the signature campaigns paying in btc.
Bitcoin has no practical solutions, Bitcoin and Altcoin have not yet created real payment solutions. Everyone considers Bitcoin as a portfolio, which helps investors to profit.
Isn't that also an application? People invest in shares and mutual funds or even bank deposits for same purpose for years.

I would not like to share my exact numbers here but I made returns. I am still investing hugely in btc and alt coins.
Remember, When BTC was 20k$ , I told u it will be dump to 7k$, most of u laughed at me, now price is 6700$ 20K$ to 7k$ was difficult but Now Happened, 6700$ to 2k$ is very easy and it will be happen soon,
It will no happen:
1) 20k to 7k happened because prices increased due to heavy manipulation
2) What you see now is correct price without any manipulation based on real demand.

Re: Can actually Bitcoin be good for the environment?

The people who say that bitcoin is bad for Environment ignore a lot of factors. Many countries are considering similar options just to save the paper (tress) used for printing so much currency.
I really wonder to some people who think bitcoin is a ponzi scheme. It has made so many people rich and doing better till now. But I don't understand the reason behind this type of thought?
This happens when someone has not done his research about bitcoins. They are blindly following the FUD they hear from media or bitcoin haters.
This post in reddit is very controversial as different groups are arguing as to who is the person responsible for calling bitcoin as a rat poison. The debate is still going on as one side says that Charlie Munger and the other parties said that it was Warren Buffet. I dont know what or whom to believe. So anyone among you who knows the real story and is willing to share who is the real culprit.
All those statements are being proved wrong by the consistent growth of bitcoins. I will not be surprise if he himself has invested billions in crypto.

India can have good impact in future if they make it legal. There is a huge untapped market in India that will invest in bitcoins if it is made legal there.

But it is not showing in terms of price growth. I see it going down only over the last few months even after so much positive news.

What about the exchanges being hacked, that happens without the fault of investors ? It is more common than bank robbery and you are protected in later case.
ETH: It will be at least $3000 by the end of this year in my opinion.
Ripple: It should be anywhere between $5-$8 by the end of this year.

I have also heard good things about bounty hive. I think bountyhive and the bounties on this forum are sufficient to get started with.

I am sure there are many investors at those price levels. However, you do not get to read their experiences because no one wants to share their loss or failures online.

If you give this some thought, it can be used as a popular payment medium. But currently, people are just concerned about multiplying their money by investing in it.

If you have a family with kids, that 20% might not be enough. I do not think it is wise to invest more than 10-20% in crypto for such people.
