Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card

I have been hanging on the slack for some time and I think it is really a high potential project.

The team is much more professional than the one at tokencard. And their technical solution is better and proven as well. Which is not the case with tokencard (implementing a live ETH transaction system at each swipe is not a given, and the chances it does not work as well as they think is high).

I understand that developers do not appear in this topic and do not consider this an important part of bringing potential investors to their project. It would be worth paying more attention to the users of this forum.

IMO people on this forum are a bit too much used to have all the information falling from the sky.

It's not such a hard thing to do to go to the website, read the paper, and meet the developers on their slack if you have questions.
If it's too hard to do that feel free to pass, as it will make room for others.

They don't need to go on their knees in front of the investors, as the ICO will end in less than one hour and will be over-funded, as it always happens nowadays for this kind of high-profile ICOs.

I don't think a bitcointalk thread is a legal requirement for an ICO.

The action start moving elsewhere, they have a slack, are announced on ICO listing websites, etc...

RED FLAGS ON THIS

SCAM IT'S A SCAM , BETTER BUY BOOB COIN

We have no info yet... How can you call it a scam?

It's not the first time I see you spreading misunderstanding and fear.
I think it was you on the TaaS topic who was screaming it was a scam and it turned out baseless.

I would suggest less noise and more research.

TaaS is an obvious scam under the hood of selling a "unicorn dream". Look closely and you'll find the links between the founders of TaaS and an old project called Bitup, with their never-finished product called the Bitup Analytics Group (BAG) - obviously designed to make you bagholders and to give you a good **** in the a**.

Do your due diligence and don't let these guys take your hard earned money, AGAIN!!

Read more here:

https://www.docdroid.net/hX0tul2/ico-alert-report-taas.pdf.html#page=2

https://www.reddit.com/r/ethtrader/comments/66xc1a/breaking_taas_team_has_strong_links_to_suspected/

Just like how Bitup Analytics Group had an abbreviation for BAG(holder), TaaS is going to offer Tokenization-as-a-Scam. What's not to miss?  Cool Cool

You're a bit late to the party.

From Bittrex slack:

http://i.imgur.com/8WoM97n.jpg

So Taas cofounders left BitUp, a crypto ponzi scheme with fake partnerships, in January

Taas could still be legit though

Seriously, for the guy laughing at the 35% annual return I'm sad for him. We're in the explosing crypto world, returns are way higher than in the traditional world.

Last month alone I've made 40% on my PTF (500% annualized). This month I'm on track for 70%. Maybe I did some good choices but I have the feeling that if I had just bought everything and hold the result would be very high as well. People are becoming rich in very short periods of time. This sound scammy in a 7% a year stock market, but not in a young and explosing industry like this one.

For me Bitup is basically a crowdsource loan with high interest rate so that the owners can trade cryptos.

There is no proof it is a ponzi. And yes it is risky to invest in these kind of company that obviously are doing a poor job at bringing confidence to their clients (the fake partnership is just very dumb), and it wwould require more than 35% annually IMO. But don't call it a scam if you don't have a proof.

This guy 'ICO Alert', is just presenting the fact that BitUp is a ponzi as a widely accepted one, this is just dishonnest. I think people taking investment advices from a teenager with 30 ETH-equivalent invested in the crypto world are the real fools here.

And nobody is explaining how a closed end fund with public trading activity can be a ponzi... How does it work technically? Taas guys will make huge profit from their 25% fees on returns, no need to stole money from their customers and ruin their reputaion. The fees are very high, and it is kind of an indication as well. No need to put such a high fee if you're a scammer and just want to run with the money.

And have a look again at TaaS team :

This guy has a managing position at Warsaw Stock Exchange

This guy was a Vice President at Wells Fargo and is a Standford MBA. And he puts TaaS on his linkedin...

A lot of other big crypto players as well.

I highly doubt they would risk their reputation for a low grade scam on the internet.

I would suggest to our young friend at ICO Alert to start reading a bit about market manipulations and previous cases of it if he wants to avoid explaining to his parents that he is going to jail because he fucked up other people lives who reacted a bit quickly to his advices... It's not because the crypto world is widely unregulated than you cannot end up in front of a judge for obvious scams.

Who are the scammers here?

The TaaS guys or BitAlert?

Why do we have to pay to have access to your full report, even though you pretend you do a gift to the community by revealing this information?

Why are there no mention of Bitup being a ponzi scheme on the internet except coming from you?

And what is your background? I've read somewhere that you almost had a stroke when you received 32 eth by mistake (https://np.reddit.com/r/ethereum/comments/637qvy/mfw_someone_sent_32_eth_to_my_donation_address_by/), which it is probably the most money you ever saw in your life...

And since you talk about your brother and you starting this service I guess you're still living with your parents? Are you of legal drinking age?

So I ask : Is it a marketing operation for your shitty investment advices service that you just started 3 weeks ago? Or do you want to crash the price on the secondary market open to enter at small price (especially considering the timing of your 'revelation')?

So I have more doubt about your legitimacy than about TaaS team.

Have you even read the part they released? It raises some valid concerns imo.

What valid concerns? There is no backed claims on what is released, it is just a teaser for the full report.... Can you show me an example of a legitimate concern? The story about Bitup being a scam is invented as well... A lot of declarations without proof... Of course we need to pay to see what is behind.

People are so naive in this community. All it takes is one smart teenager in his room to create a panic with real financial impact.

At least we have the names and faces of the guys at TaaS. Who is this guy behind BitAlert? Seriously, you need to start thinking a bit being going full panic mode. It looks a lot like Poloniex trollbox.

Expected recovery is 30%. It will probably not go below that since the bitcoins are into the bankruptcy trustee hands. It can go higher if police inquiry is conclusive.

So 11% is really low. You must really be in severe need of liquidity to accept this deal just not to wait one or two years more. Especially when Bitcoin value against dollar is expected to continue climbing in the meantime. I mean since bankruptcy the value of your gox coins in $$ have been multiplied by 5.

Personnally I have 10 gox coins.  I will keep them.
