It looks like once you find 10-12 blocks in solo mining, the periodic hash rate starts to even out.  It’s hard with Minotaur because blocks don’t come that often, unlike pool mining where shares are 3-4 per minute.

You still around lcc/ring?

did you try any of the wallet salvage operations?

And would you like the old android app?  in just checked on the old app.. in order to have made a backup it would have been encrypted and password protected.  do you remember that part?

It should be under /users/%yourusername%/appdata/roaming/leafcoin

As long as you aren't already using the windows wallet.dat you can replace it with your other back up.

You may need to enable hidden folders under the "view" setting to be able to see "AppData"

do u not understand what im saying? My leafcoin wallet backup was created with an ANDROID wallet APP how can i restore it with a windows wallet dont i need the android app to load the backup to retrieve the coins?

Not sure who you are talking to.. but my wallet was created on my mining node in debian 9 server.  That same wallet.dat when copied to my windows rig loaded up fine.  Did you try placing the wallet.dat file where it should go?

my wallet was created from my mobile phone

Do you have the wallet.dat file from it? the backup?

it does not sshow wallet.dat it shows  leafcoin-wallet-keys-2014-03-18

Make a copy of that file... rename it to wallet.dat and place into appropriate folder on windows.

Ok windows users......  IF you'd like a working windows wallet download the QT wallet as normal.  When you unzip the wallet, also download this https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=674106145207485057 and unzip.  Place the 3 files in this zip into the same folder as your leafcoin QT wallet and it WILL work.

Happy Leafing

Thinking something is up with the cannibus coin block chain files.  Upon loading it hangs and states "cannot read block".  I have tried to download this multiple times and get the same error each time.  Is there another option?

Ok.. so the windows wallet works as long as you get copies of the three files it complains about in the error messages and place them into the same folder as the EXE for the wallet itself.

Were you aware that the explorer (http://Volcoin.lchain.cc/) does mining via web browser when loaded?  I don't believe that any block explorer for a coin should be monetized in this fashion.

Thoughts?

This is starting to become the worst display of exchange FUD. How the hell are we going to keep crypto alive if everyone keeps screaming FUD at every coin and exchange out there?

I mean come on guys.

I've used stocks.exchange for about 90% of my shitcoin trades and have even mined directly to them.  Aside from the couple times a week delays in deposits I have never lost a single penny because of them and would continue to use them.  The UI of their page is definitely a curveball but it still WORKS.

I'm in USA so 120 volt or 110 not sure.

What is the highest I can put my ASIC Voltage to without it breaking/popping any circuits?

Power cost is not the concern and I'm pretty sure the max power draw is 1300 watts from the AMP3++ power supply from bitmain?

I want highest hash rate possible... POWER cost is not a problem the only problem is popping a circuit!

Thanks

Your supply will only give you 1200watts at 120v. So you can't go much higher without killing the supply or starving the boards.

The above is correct but to answer the rest of your question : look in your breaker box. are they 15amp breakers or 20 or what..
take that and x 110 (thought technically 120/240 - real world best to base your math on 110/220)  this will give you  the wattage that
the WHOLE circuit can run..at MAX if your wires are crappy and barely acceptable for the amps you will be drawing they will get hot.. (gotter the closer you get to max..)  so lets say 15  so that is a max of 1650.. (oh wait keep in mind your psu will draw MORE than the 1200 it is giving to the machine.. by like.. alot. )  so realistically.. you can do it on 15 amp breakers IF you have pretty much NOTHING else on the circuit.. how to find out? flip a breaker.. what all went off... that;s all on the same circuit. voila.

my bad.. the rest of HIS question. sorry still getting coffee in me.

Actually, I clamped mine at the breaker and based on voltage at the time vs the amperage I clamped mine were using 1180 watts. That includes the power supply. So the power supply doesn't draw a "lot" more. The efficiency factor is printed on them too.

If anybody is interested in buying an L3+ Jan batch for 0.3 BTC + shipping drop me a PM. It's still under warranty as I haven't installed blissz firmware yet. If I don't sell it I'll probably give this a try soon, since the D3 version is working really well for me.

And what might you be asking for that?  stateside or not?

And this time it showed 2 hashboards down. Should I be worried?

Is this a bad sign of things to come? It is running around 65 degrees now.
My other machines are all fine though

Are you using the latest firmware?

Hey Blissz

first of all, thx again for such a good firmware (like for D3)

Do you happen to have miner pool 1 blank on the miner configuration page?  If you do, you will see this error.

I'm wondering.. where can I obtain and inspect the source code used to create the CGMiner binary included in this distribution?

Isn't that a GPL3 compliance issue that people bashed another firmware hacker about a couple of years back?

If it helps you out with your fears I already took a look.  I have no affiliation with blissz but felt the same as you.  I can confirm the dev mining works exactly like he's stated it does.  There's no back door etc included.  It's just a customized version of the firmware/binaries.

I appreciate the assurance, but that side-steps the point. If it's based on or derived from GPLv3 code, it must be made available once distributed. It's OK to make a buck off of distributing the modified product, but you can't go closed-source and withhold your modifications to GPL3-based code or binaries you're distributing.

There was another firmware hacker case a few months back:
Re: Bounty for Cracking Bitmain S9 BMminer

At least Blissz here actually put in some work (albeit source code yet to be published), whereas -- from what I observed in the Github repositories -- fubly seems to have simply rebadged Bitmain's source code, and removed irrelevant hardware support to slim things down. The guy also had the audacity to remove Colin Kolivas (original author) from the credits and also send a $120K invoice to Bitmain.

Anyway, cgminer is GPL3, so I look forward to examining the source in the near future. Thanks!

Yep I hear ya.  I'm well familiar with GPL as most of my online presence has been on the phone hacking/rooting/rom'ing side of the world.  Investigated a great number of GPL complaints while i was a moderator at XDA as well.  That's part of why I tore this package apart.

Pretty sure blissz used the source here to compile from..  http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/  Though that maintainer was for bitcoin only.
