Re: Can tail emmision be a soft fork
by
dr.hopkins
on 13/09/2023, 11:38:52 UTC
When it comes to changing Bitcoin's emission, a soft fork wouldn't cut it. The emission schedule is part of Bitcoin's consensus rules, and altering it requires a hard fork, which is a more significant network upgrade. Soft forks generally work within the existing rules, like adding new features. Keep in mind that any changes to Bitcoin's core must undergo extensive scrutiny to ensure the network's security and integrity.

Re: creating a token without money
by

Trying to make a token famous on a shoestring budget is like trying to win a marathon in flip-flops. While it's a tough road, it's not impossible. You'll need a killer idea, a strong community, and some serious hustle. But remember, in the crypto world, even with capital, it's a rollercoaster, so brace yourself for some twists and turns!

I get what you're saying about Bitcoin being a smart investment, but don't forget, iPhones are pretty cool too! It's all about finding the right balance between tech gadgets and crypto portfolios. Who knows, maybe one day we'll be buying iPhones with Bitcoin without even thinking twice

Re: Another reason and proof to keep funds in your wallet not in an exchange
by
dr.hopkins
on 13/09/2023, 11:34:43 UTC
Although this has not happen to our exchange where we put our funds for a long time, this should prove that its not safe to be there for months or years, you have to secure your money, or tokens/coins to your hardware wallet, or electrum wallet etc since you have full control unlike CEX.
Earlier there is a news that Coinex have been hack, where the hacker transfer and drain the wallet, with ETH, Polygon, Tron etc, i think this is the first time this exchange has been hack, i say i have coins there but no value, but if you have lots of eth and others thats is a major concern, since we don't know if they can refund the loses.
so to be safe store your bitcoin and other coins to safe wallet, like hardware wallet etc.
this is the link of the news :https://cointelegraph.com/news/coinex-crypto-exchange-suspected-hacked-crypto-moved
Absolutely agree with you on the importance of securing our assets! I've been using XGo, and one feature that really stands out is XGoID. It simplifies managing multiple wallet addresses into one easy-to-use identifier. This adds an extra layer of convenience and security to my crypto holdings.

It's fascinating how we humans have managed to defy basic survival instincts and embrace a carefree approach to life. Who needs to worry about hygiene or making informed choices when we can just go with the flow and hope for the best? After all, why bother protecting ourselves when we can enjoy the thrill of unprotected... laundry, right?

Re: App to monitor financial world events - what are you using ?

It would be awesome to have a one-stop shop for all the financial events that impact the global market. While I don't have a specific app to recommend, I've found that a combination of sources can be helpful. I usually keep an eye on financial news websites, follow key influencers on Twitter, and join relevant online communities. It's like creating your own personalized financial event tracker. Happy hunting!

Your friend might be onto something! Bitcoin has certainly made some people very rich, but it's always good to do your own research. Start by learning about its technology, potential use cases, and market trends. Remember, investing comes with risks, so make informed decisions and never invest more than you can afford to lose. Good luck on your crypto journey.

Re: how exchanges list news crypto tokens
by
dr.hopkins
on 23/05/2023, 06:50:06 UTC
In light of the question about how exchanges add new tokens, I would like to share some information about Bitcoin wallets. An important aspect of working with cryptocurrencies is wallet addresses. They are associated with pairs of private and public keys, which form the basis of any Bitcoin address.

Modern Bitcoin wallets come with various features and user interfaces. They are available in different forms, including mobile and desktop applications, as well as hardware wallets. Additionally, some wallets do not provide users with private keys to avoid human errors.

Thus, Bitcoin wallets and their addresses play a crucial role in the process of sending and receiving cryptocurrencies. A well-considered choice of wallet can provide convenience, security, and accessibility.

If you are interested in learning more, the article I recently read discusses different types of Bitcoin wallets and their advantages. It also describes how to create a Bitcoin address and find your wallet for sending and receiving payments.

I believe this information can be useful in understanding the workings of cryptocurrency wallets and their relationship to listing new tokens on exchanges. Certain aspects of wallet selection may be important when considering the terms and documentation required for token listing on an exchange.

I hope this helps!

I think it's important for cryptocurrencies to use energy wisely to become popular. XGo helps with that by offering features like trading and swapping that don't require energy-heavy mining. It's a good move towards a more sustainable future for crypto.

I guess the lesson here is to always do your due diligence before accepting Bitcoin as payment. You wouldn't want to unknowingly get mixed up with any dirty coins.
