why did the coin go up? and why its coming down?
its a toss coin... the coin goes up when it was tossed and probly now its going down...
thats the real meaning of market.. whether you get in when its going up make profit until it reaches peak and probably you will get scared when you get in and its going down
but you will need to wait again for the next toss (or you call it wave) ... but it matters how high it will be toss up next

how is it so many newbie's come here and talk like they know the crypto world like the back of their hand talking shit about a decent coin and yet plenty of idiots actually listen to them..... man people have some serious issues.
BC is still holding strong, this drop was expected to happen as the sudden growth/pump to the 94500 SAT was far to fast for the coin to fully sustain long term. So all newbie's and FUD spreaders if you have any real proof this coin is dieing apart from your own pathetic thoughts and ideas about how things really work, then by all means do share them with the rest of us. until then i suggest you leave your dark basement and go and get some sunshine as being in the dark for so long has damaged your brain and caused you all to think that you are gods gift to the crypto world and know it all..... "although i believe that's the same level of thinking as a 10-12 year old child....."

If it had dropped to 25-30k and stayed there people would have believed you..but it's at 15k and going down, it's actualy worse than a clssic pump and dump.

Hi guys, I am new to BC and wanted to share my story about how I got involved with your coin. First of all I wanted to say I bought some BTC before and after the launch but focused on other coins instead. Well I lost money on some alts but avoided getting scammed by AUR and Neo & Bee shares at Havelock, so it's not all bad. But then BC came back to my attention thanks to the hype campaign on forums and the media...I got excited and thought wow now is my chance to make back my losses from earlier in the year! I was watching coinmarketcap charts and reading the forums and I really thought I could triple my holdings because those prices kept rising....but stupid me, I got reckless and transferred more BTC to an exchange than I wanted to lose, bought high and after seeing the dump, sold at a loss. Yeah I know, buy high and sell low is bad, it's supposed to be the opposite.
But I didn't want to lose everything. Maybe I should put my remaining coins in cold storage and just take a break from crypto trading, even though BTC, LTC, NMC and other alts are seeing a recovery in recent days and buying other alts looks enticing. Should I become a miner instead? But how do you decide which new alt to mine before they are actually valuable enough that you think, hey maybe I can get rich from this one day?
But I didn't want to lose everything. Maybe I should put my remaining coins in cold storage and just take a break from crypto trading, even though BTC, LTC, NMC and other alts are seeing a recovery in recent days and buying other alts looks enticing. Should I become a miner instead? But how do you decide which new alt to mine before they are actually valuable enough that you think, hey maybe I can get rich from this one day?
you know what.. i am new to crypto as well.. and i consider crypto as a challenge for me... im only about 7months or so in here and i never invested a single fiat to start.. and just for being curious i started only getting giveaways and learn to trade and in 3 or 4 months doing that clicking faucets of 100-200 sats per 30 min and traded all i get. i earn my first btc.. i do not mine as i am just an ordinary guy and wanted to master the art of trading.. maybe you can call me a retard (or anything you want to call me) for holding my bc at 60-70 when it crashed but from starting 0 btc and getting my first btc and if only i put a sell order of my bc at 8 which i now it reaches 83+ i could have get almost 2 btc and that would be a great achievement for me...
so i advice you to study trading carefully coz trading is just a matter of hide and seek game...

let it fall ... and don't buy the sell orders.... but instead put a buy order lower or more lower than that ... the sell orders are from the whales making money out from you... use reverse engineering method let the whales sell cheap to you and sell them higher back to them

Anyhow, IF we see BlackCoin starting up a large Wave 3 here soon expect the rally to be far larger than the Wave 1 we just saw (and Wave 1 more or less took us from 5k to 95k, or an 1800% return). A large Wave 3 could easily take us to 400k (a 1900% return) and potentially much higher due to the ridiculous strength and speed of Wave 1.
I don't believe in any kind of chart analysis as a predictor... but I do believe in your fundamentals statement: coin has shown it has good value as a crypto currency for the original purpose Bitcoin was intended for: except done more efficiently and faster. And there's no mining inflation... But I actually also like NXT for the same reason (also an investor in NXT).
Short term, BC is still not known by many, yet.. and the benefits of BC not understood by many.. This will change over time, but until that time where it reaches a broader audience, it will be difficult to sustain the interim valuations we saw from past few days.. That said, long term I'm a believer in this coin.

What do you mean by beating Auroracoin? AUR is sitting at 28th in market cap ($1 million) based on number of publicly available coins and it has a $49,000 market volume. After the drop BC is sitting at #9 in market cap ($10 million) with $3 million in market volume.

I realize these numbers aren't everything. Maybe you mean something else. AUR is a really neat concept, not intending to coin bash.
what i mean is bc is more popular than aur right now ... aur price is 0.001 when it started i think but bc never reaches that so we never beat aur.. like drk its very quiet but its price is 0.001 ... so i wrote we need to beat all these alts to make it at no.3 ... because many says we will replace btc.. bc is a replacement of btc but how if we cannot top the altcoins first..
i still believe bc lacks something .. we have the strong and great community as you say... but we are missing something secret ingredient
Need more publicity and convince other altcoin holders to jump on board.

NO (or at least it shouldn't be). Our main goal is to be a stable, secure, and useful means of exchange and store of value. The rest is what comes with proving the first.
i've said that because i think no.1 we are stable now no.2 we are also secure... nobody cant stop what you call the P&Ds because we are on trading... you cannot tell anyone or somebody who will buy Bc at cheap prices and sold at high prices of course everybody is doing that... but what really happens is a whale or group bought at low price high volume maybe starts at 9k then wait for the peak they wanted probly 70-80's then they leave.. so us (mostly) little ones were left stuck at 6-7 since they sold and never come back or probly waiting another buildup then they will buy again.. correct me if im wrong but thats what i think what happen
and i admit i did a mistake for putting a buy order and then sleep and woke up it was filled at 70 but price is at 36. that was a huge mistake for me though im just a very very tiny shrimp with only 1 btc hoping to double it in BC but its ok .. i am in crypto and i understand anything can happen anytime...

Another idea:
Can one of the devs contact the guys that run info podcasts on the net/youtube? I always listen to these on Youtube and they attract a lot of views and prominant community figures.
There are always guest speakers and guests from altcoins I've heard e.g. Feathercoin dev and NXT on there.
The reason I say devs is because the bitcoin community isn't too warm towards marketers yet as they are a shadow of centralisation and devs are far more trusted.
Some of the more 'newsy' podcasts will want to hear about the 'top 5' volume trading days and the fact that BC is first pure PoS coin. That will grab people's attention. Otherwise it would be good fora BC dev just to rep the community in general altcoin and bitcoin discussion.
Some youtube channels include:
'Let's Talk Bitcoin!'
'Thebitcoingroup' - this one is awesome
'CoinSummit'
'BitcoinMKE'
'Coindesk'
