Re: I may be wrong, thinking about the gov intervention
by

I'm not sure, but in such a market condition, who else does agree that the government used a hidden identity and joined the crypto market to accumulate a large number of bitcoins, then sold it to affect its price? Or can the gov hires a couple well known personality to rule the every day news and kill it slowly?
that's a question that requries some facts, some evidences, and though we may feel that something suspicious is going on we still need to be careful with such accusations. so, let's just be watchfull

Re: Developer,team or community
by
drants
on 11/12/2018, 19:12:04 UTC
Who is more important to the development of a project? Developer, Team or Community.
DEVELOPER: A developer is someone who invented a particular project(coin)
TEAM: A team is a group of people that came together to backup the project to ensure success.
COMMUNITY: Community are people that subscribe into the project to ensure continuity by investing in it and also promoting the project.
A developer came up with the project, team working with developer to pick it up from there, then community decide the last part of the project.
Without a developer,we cannot have a project,Great team will surely influence the acceptability of a project, the end result depend on the community, then who is more important to the success of a project?

we need the idea first, right? because we have to have the core in order to build anything around it. can we consider developer as a part of an idea? because in this case we may assume developer is the main point

How good (or bad) have your bounty rewards been in 2018 in comparison to 2017?
as we can see bounties become more strict with rules. i think they improved all the same, and i expect it will do so futher more in the next year. though many turned out to be scams

Re: Not yet an end for crypto
by

on 10/12/2018, 15:15:58 UTC
There is a saying that the road to success is not always smooth. This is just exactly what crypto inves tment portrays. In the business of crypto, uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. The fact that there is a very high level of dip in crypto market currently is not enough reason to conclude that an end has come to crypto.I know that the bearish market situation at present  in the crypto world would  make many crypto lovers to be having a second thought of relinquishing their ardent commitment to crypto investment since no tangible profit is forthcoming but honestly, that is not the best option. What crypto is going through now is just a bend and not the end . In a short while from now, things will amend for better .This is not yet the end for crypto but rather a bend for something better.
i think that you're right comparing it with a bend. it's really difficult to predict is there such thing as an end of crypto. do you really think the idea will be forgotten that easily? think logically, it is such an opportunity

Re: What are your thoughts on a cryptocurrency social platform?
by
drants
on 10/12/2018, 15:03:23 UTC
So for the past year I've been working on a social platform for cryptocurrencies (https://glowbe.org)
Why?
I think most platforms related to crypto nowadays are full of spam and low quality content and I wanted to create a closed community of people that are interested in being more 'educated' or objective.
Personally I dislike the idea of telegram/discord groups for cryptos because there's no way of having an objective conversation - you either shill or get shilled.

I'm interested in hearing more opinions about what you guys think - could something like this work?
Maybe you have suggestions or maybe you disagree with me. Let me know what you think about the idea.
interesting idea. probably paid registration is better, if you want to focus on more educated people, as you mentioned. thus people who interested and understand would join and floodmakers would be too greedy to pay

Re: Someone has to stop this "forks" shit!
by

on 08/12/2018, 18:50:36 UTC
Please someone (who capable to that) stop this forks shits.

This became a new Ponzi method. Someone starts to "lets make a new forks" and earn money without work. Bitcoin Cash may a good idea (which I still don't believe) but after them all is a garbage!

This forks is going to harm all market, it is already doing it!

We're sick after the news of fork. It is coming out in everyday. Morever, it is not only for Bitcoin. Last year we've seen a lot of forks. For example: Ethereum, NXT, Ethereum Classic, NEO, and even DOGE...

We don't need any forks. Support the main blockchain networks and if you don't want to believe Bitcoin, then support another projects which suits you.
well, you can't restrain brilliant minds which are determined to get their piece of cake without effort... i think that stuff just has to happen, get to its maximum and then fade away slowly. a natural process

Re: Why not buy Ethereum
by
drants
on 07/12/2018, 18:55:10 UTC
Now I will name just three reasons why you should not buy Ethereum. Of course, you can call an almost infinite number of reasons why you should not buy airwaves, but we are not chasing after quantity, but quality. I believe that these three reasons are enough to not even think about investing in the air.

1. The ether has infinite emission.
Even if there were no other reasons, I would still not have bought Ethereum because of the endless issue. Gold will cease to be gold, if it is endlessly "printed." Did you know about this?

2. Ethereum regularly hosts hurricanes to return, for example, stolen funds and this greatly undermines the decentralization of the coin. In this way,
large investors may be wary of investing in the air because of fear of losing money.

3. The hurdles are conducted only for very large investors, for example, because of the DAO fund. If you steal even one million dollars, you probably will not get anything back. There is discrimination.

What do you think?
nice summary you have! it is queer, eth seems ro be one of the best. now it shows poor results, with all that fuss about their team. luckily we have different coins, not only eth which gets weaker

For 2 months, market is not consistent. In the past, I have seen worse but the market bounced back well. The current scenario is so weird for me. Almost all the currencies, I have been holding has fallen to where it was when I bought. Can the market ever be back? Im a part time miner by the way.
it would be splendid if it comes back to normal. i think that we just need to bear with it for the time being, right now it is even worse than in spring. let us hope next year will correct it all

Re: Some arguments used against Crypto-Currency
by
drants
on 06/12/2018, 13:45:47 UTC
Some arguments used against cryptocurrency :

1. Cryptocurrency is a Ponzi scheme

The whole economic system beginning from demand and supply is a Ponzi scheme because in demand and supply, someone profits from the loss of someone else.

2. Cryptocurrency has no intrinsic value

A government stamp on paper does NOT give it intrinsic value. With your fiat so-called intrinsic value, why does the value of all fiat keep on dropping in value?

3. Cryptocurrency can be used to evade tax

The ONLY legal tax is income tax and nothing else. And it is not wrong at all to not pay all of those extra so-called taxes to any government whether good or bad.

4. Cryptocurrency can be used for terrorist activities

The internet itself is used for terrorist activities. Gold and fiat money also is used to fund terrorist activities and are done in private. So how will you regulate those dear regulators?

5. Cryptocurrency can be used for money laundering

I can money launder with gold also by simply burying the gold and hiding it from the eyes of tax collectors. I can similarly make private and corrupt transactions with fiat money also in secret.

6. Cryptocurrency is volatile

Stocks are also volatile. Check out how volatile the Amazon stock has been.
i guess all the arguments are spread by those who will lose a lot in case crypto currency takes over fiat. some of it really absurd. and laundering money, come on, it always will be in our reality

Re: Bounty Hunters should analyze a bounty campaign to maximize rewards
by
drants
on 05/12/2018, 19:28:25 UTC
Hello I've been a bounty hunter for more than 1 year and would like to advice some hunter that you must also try other campaign other than social campaign such as facebook and twitter, cause the way I see it, those category of campaign are swarming with most participants. As a bounty hunter you need to analyze which campaign you can take advantage of reward, based on your ability to conduct promotions. I suggest few tips in doing a good bounty campaign.

Campaigns mostly are consists of signature, social campaign such as facebook, twitter, linkedin and reddit. There is also media campaign which composed of youtube review and blog/article writing. Translations and other additional task. In a campaign, if a budget is quite low for the bounty and you found that project very interesting, you need to consider on which allocation the Manager give the most budget. Usually the campaign biggest budget is signature followed by media campaign and so on. Before I am fond doing social campaign such as twitter but now the situation changed as many participants added compared to early years of 2018. So, I changed my campaign style and focus on things I am good to do. Im not a professional writer, but since I started in blog/article campaign Ive recorded some achievements and praises on my pieces for campaign. So I shifted my talent into this type of campaign where I excel most. I like signature as well, but my rank isnt that high to compete with those higher rank members here. So my main bounty is blog/article which I see working fine for me.

I'm still participating on some campaign with social but only those campaign that I can bag at least few tokens since, these category has the most number of participants. I'm not saying that, followed me through this path I just suggesting to use your talent as a person to take advantage of a bounty campaign. By the way, I've posted here some of my blogs and some praises I've gained for my articles which you can check below.

https://steemit.com/ico/@etherium24/bitdepositary-a-story-of-successful-ico-project-and-how-their-concept-attracts-and-trusted-by-the-crypto-community

https://steemit.com/ico/@etherium24/extensive-independent-review-introduction-to-taucoin-project-with-its-features-and-advantages-over-other-cryptocurrencies-part-1

https://steemit.com/ico/@etherium24/immvrse-a-new-conceptualized-blockchain-based-project-and-how-they-will-disrupt-the-crypto-market-and-the-reasons-why-you-should

Also, if you're picking a campaign review first the ICO project you will joined its suicide to participate in a campaign without knowing knowledge of their ICO potential, so you will not end up posting here that some project scammed you and not paid. A responsible bounty hunter also research and make some due diligence first before jumping into a campaign. That's all!
hey, thanks a lot for your impressive and encouraging story! i guess this is one of the best thing that each of us can do, use our talents and personal features to participate in bounty. win-win situation

Re: The energy that drives patience
by
drants
on 05/12/2018, 19:17:10 UTC
Patience is not just the ability to wait, but how we behave while we wait.

Behavior is a very important factor or energy that determines if your patience will be maintained.

The crypto market can sometimes be different from what we thought or expected it would be, there might be delay in getting rewards from bounty participated in, postponement in listing on exchanges alongside other challenges faced and these might bring about some doubt, most especially when it seems the delay keeps lingering.

Therefore, our ability to tolerate difficulties, delays, annoyance without getting upset, will determine if truly we can be patient.

Being able to overcome all these require some energy and the energy is embedded in our ability or the behaviour that guides patience.
yes it is, and patience is connected with our intelligence, i reckon. well, our ability to understand that everything is following its own course and not aleays it is going to be the way we expect it

some time ago litecoin seemed really popular and promising, now it still manages to stay alive which is great and of course it has some advantages, but i can't see it replacing any coin from the top

i think it's important to protect new cryptocurrency fans on some information like dead and inactive coins as every day new coins are pumping into blockchain market.
here this link will help you identify many dead and inactive coins, so you can avoid being losing your funds https://deadcoins.com and anyone have more to be added can let us know.
it is nice idea of yours! indeed it's really difficult to stay alert with such amount of coins coming and going. i think we should be more careful, too, because it is us who responsible for our choices in the end

Hey guys. Remember, in crypto sphere we can’t trust anyone! ICO rating sites are lying to us, you have to do YOUR OWN RESEARCH always! Remember this, and don’t let yourself be scammed!
that much is true, yeah. however i think it is great really, that we have such an opportunity to polish our skills in researching and analysing, this makes us professionals. it is really a gift from heaven

China is full of clever people, i guess they will find a proper way of using it. to be honest, i hope that China will set up a good example for other countries and so everyone would see it's not that terrifying

Re: Reasons why regular people are afraid to invest in Crypto
by

on 01/12/2018, 15:42:11 UTC
Hi guys.
In most countries poeple don't get the opportunity to invest in Crypto due to country policy.
However some countries who have the opportunity of crypto policy free are afraid to invest.
Some people just don't have the courage and are not willing to take such risks of investing in crypto, while others find it difficult to purchase crypto using there credit cards or master Cards 💳.
I believe that crypto will have more regular people investing if it was integrated with the Banking payments system.

Do you think so too?
Leave your comment

well not everyone has investor-like mindset, i reckon. it takes some special skills and brain activities, and as we know people are not robots, so we can't make everyone follow the same sample with equal success Wink

As of now the price of each coin is very unstable, and the price of it just keeps going down. I have seen a coin last year, that the price of each coin goes rapidly high. Now again rapid..almost below expected. Can we sure the investment??
How long crypto will last?
Can crypto die?
Can government kill crypto?
when we think about government as a potential crypto killer, it only gets worse. i mean, why not to consider the possibility that the government will accept that idea, find some profit for itself?
