In the past when there have been delays we always make it up to our customers and we will for sure be doing this again for all our customers.

Im still waiting on my partial refund since...June! I have given up on them, but just everyone beware. In my case I preordred for a certain price, then day it was to ship the price was lowered & didnt ship. It ended up being two weeks later (and yet another price drop) till it shipped.

How do you mine with a GPU? I downloaded the SPH-SGMINER from the link on the website, but I can't get it to work with any pool's. I keep get rejects and hw errors.

*I got it working. Turns out there is a certain version of sgminer and a diff command to add. If anyone is interested, make a batch file with this

sgminer.exe -k quarkcoin -o stratum+tcp://mine-pool.net:3400 -u username -p password -I 16 -g 4 -w 128 --difficulty-multiplier 256

Using a litecoin calculator I figure that you would make about $0.0002587 per day USD or about $0.007761 per month USD using a mobile device.

The compensation given which was the only option had to be agreed upon otherwise nothing would be given.

Are you saying he refunded a least a little to you? I have been asking as my price difference was $255 ($1250 vs $995 by the time it actually shipped and I got it). I have been asking constantly about it and on rare occasions get a message back from Simon always keeping me on the line for more. This last time it was that "my credit card processor still hasnt paid me for your order yet". That is a total lie as I have a statement from my credit card that I paid and documentation from his credit card processor that he was paid.

I switch off between Monero and Dimecoin when I have some free cpu time. Im not expecting to make much from dimecoin, but I have hopes that Monero might go up in price someday. Either way its only when the computer has to be on and has free cpu time.

Re: hashra.com asic scrypt.... scam?
by

I do not recommend Hashra. While they do deliver, what goes on is;

Place order
Does not ship and no email contact, lowers price
Ships at some later date but charges you the higher price

Check their facebook page or the thread here at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=659732.0 A lot of people (including me) are having problems.

What Simon did to me was I placed my order when the price of a miner was $1250 with a promised shipping date. He did not ship and their was no contact. Price was lowered $1135 and he then told me it shipped but it didnt. Price was lowered to $995 about two weeks after promised ship date and he then sent it. He told me that he would offer a partial refund, but will not follow through.

I havent posted in a while as I have been going back and fourth with him, but believe me, Simon is very active every day. I eventually received my item after a significant price drop ($1250 vs $995). He promised a partial refund and a later on stated that I didnt pay and he was sending me to UK courts. I kept telling him that I have documentation of payment and that my $1250 order also is documented as being $100 value on the shipping paper/customs paper. I ended up calling his credit card processor and they stated hes paid so I dont know whats going on. Still no partial refund and now the 14mh model is $425 a few weeks later. I wont even come close to ROI. Im at the point im going to call my credit card up again and ask for help. To restate....Paid $1250 for item and didnt ship. Lowered price to $995 and shipped. Also declared item as $100 in US customs. Is that fraud?

Hashra recently stated in their news letter:
Sorry, No more Paypal and Credit Cards:
Really sorry but yet again our merchant account got hit with a large number of fraudulent card transactions. As a result we are halting Paypal and Card transactions till we can find a solution.
We are back to the good old days of Bitcoin payments and Bank transfers for now.

This is because of fraud on his part. He fails to ship, does not communicate, we call our cc asking for help, he is notified by the cc, price is lowered and he finally ships. If anyone is having problems and paid with cc, please at least call your cc and ask how to proceed. They may offer advice or withhold payment till its resolved.

I got it today. It was well packed and had a "tested by" slip inside...Dated June 14th so there is no reason it should not have shipped on the 15th as promised. I ordered it for $1250, didnt ship and was being sold for $1135, and by the time it was shipped and I got it $995. Big loss and almost no chance for ROI. Simon did promise the $115 refund, but no word yet and I can't contact him.

Another thing to consider. Simon says "Approximately 485W  1 x 600W PSU" on the website. WRONG! My watt meter shows 575 watts. I bought this figuring I could use my spare 600w OCZ but it will not work. I had to rip apart my desktop pc to use its 850w. So now to add to the cost-1 new psu!

But some guy name JJ, states he already got his.

So I`m confused.. and someone on thread points out they are running theirs so its just slow shipping?

This reminds of BFL though in some sense of shipping.

Im not sure what to think. What is for sure is that there is very poor communication on Simon's part, even to the point of lying (he told me on the 20th it shipped but look at the tracking info shipped today). Fact is that we bought this with a promise ship date of June 15th. Also consider in that "limited quantities" were priced at $1250 and on the date they were promised to ship were available for $1135 with imminent shipping. Thats a pretty lousy thing to do, but Simon now said he would refund the difference but I havent seen anything yet.

I checked the number again today and this came up

2014-06-25 15:38:37   Shipment arrival at Hong Kong Distribution Centre
11:01:50   Shipment depart from Shenzhen Distribution Center ,will be sent to the next station Hong Kong Distribution Centre
04:22:32   Pick-up

What??? Did he just ship it out today? He told me in an email that it shipped Friday the 20th and it was too late to cancel. Besides promised ship date was 10 days ago on the 15th.

Did you pay with by cc bringtherain? If so I would call them and open a dispute. I just checked discover online and they issued me a full refund and it states "dispute closed". I did'nt get a message from discover yet stating its over and done, but under the view disputes it shows dispute closed.

Also, my tracking number is now invalid on sf-express.com (the shipping company they use). It never showed any movement to begin with, but now nothing shows up. Did they even ship it like Simon said?

As far as I can tell, Hashra is not shipping and infrequently responding to emails.

June 23 Monday - I was in contact with Simon a few times since last thursday. I was asking for a refund since it didnt ship and Friday he said it was too late it just shipped. Now today on Monday I got the tracking number and it shows that the shipment was just created (today on monday)  Huh Very confusing.

I also discussed the missing mining time and he said he was willing to give me a little credit towards it...but I told him all I care about is the $115 difference refunded back to my cc and I would let the missing mining time go. He said that was ok on Friday, but today no credit was applied. I will give it a few days to see it if shows up. I did let my cc know about this and they opened a case.

My miner should have shipped out over a week ago, but right now all I want is the $115 refunded back and it to actually ship like the created shipment today states.

Just FYI, if you use cc, they use 2co.com based out of Ohio to bill you. Hashra's offices seem to be located in London and it seems that Zeus custom makes them. Because they use 2co.com, my cc (discover) has been having problems investigating this issue. The initial transaction on June 7th went through right aways and they were paid right aways. I am almost thinking that Simon is the only guy at Hashra and he works part time (based on emails with hashra).

If it did ship today, I should get it by the end of the week and will update. Untill then I can only recommend to just "take it" from Zeus. I have had two orders with them and they did ship.

I am having a hard time with Hashra, and just offering a buyer beware. If you must order from them, please use a credit card so you have something to fall back on. Basically;

June 7th; Ordered a limited-quantity Lunar Launcher for $1250 with shipping June 15.
June 15th; Lunar Launcher’s now $1135 with imminent shipping.

Basically a $115 dollar fee for entering in my order info sooner. I emailed them that day to ask whats going on and if they could offer any kind of refund as thats pretty messed up.

June 19th; My order still shows “pending” and it didn’t ship yet. They did email me giving me back in the morning offering a $115 off coupon code for future orders and that they are going to call the factory to see why my order didnt ship yet. I wrote back asking to cancel the order.

June 20th; My order still shows pending and I didnt hear back from them. Im pretty upset as so far I figure I lost about $66 mining with the delayed shipping not to mention the $115 unless I ever order from them again. So far my two orders with zeusminer have gone smoother then this.

Just a buyer beware in case anyone is interested in buying from them.

Zoomhash has these for sale for $179/shipped if you use the coupon code thats usually available. Last I heard they promised to ship May 28. They take credit card so if you have any problems you can always chargeback. I never had any problems with them at all.

Currently the %15 off for zoomhash (founders coupon) still works, I just ordered another one. $169/shipped for the 1.2mh blizzard with 60% free hashing. Thats what $84 per MH. The 60% ends May 14 and it goes down to 40%.

I do wonder how they keep track of who gets how much free hosted hashing with all the orders and terms   Sad Huh Sad Huh Sad

The wolf appears to be missing completely from the product offering.

I wonder whats going on with that. I ordered two of the "wolf" and on my orders screen it has been replaced with the "blizzard" including free hashing power. Has it been replaced with zeusminer???

What would suck about that is I bought two blizzards from zeus for $450 and the two from zoomhash for $350. Preording from zeusminer directly is costly!!!!

*Also, the "ships May 28" has been removed for the blizzard

Yesterday I preordered two of the new "wolf". Today I get an email that I can get 15% off for being a return customer (I bought stuff last month). This sucks. How do you cancel a order. I want to cancel and reorder.

Edit: I called to cancel and they said to email them because it was lunch time. I did and they promptly refunded the money. I purchased again and got two of the wolfs for $339/shipped.

At the rate prices are dropping, prices drop faster then you actually make mining. A little over a month ago I got some round gridseed for about $230. A month ago I got some for $200. Then about three week ago 125. Now they are about $85pc.

Im just guessing, but I guess its the same or nearly the same as the ones Zeusminer is selling as they are the same price/performance. If not, they are on the same performace/price level.
