Today I learnt from a Linkedin contact that the practice of paying advisors a percentage of the ICO total cannot be extended to Security Token Offerings. In the STOs, the advisors will need to be paid upfront, and not any percentage of the STO tokens.

So, if one begins with the basics, the first principles, so to say, the purpose of all these ad/ bounty campaigns is to discover and reach prospects and convert them into customers/ subscribers. Since everyone distrusts everyone else on the Internet, (and with good reason), bounty campaigns are the seed 'bait' to prove a site's bona fides.

But, this schematic only considers a distrusting set of prospects viewing a distrustable, unknown entity offering them product or service. The other side of this equation is a distrustable/ disreputable horde of superficially appearing prospects who are immune to conversion, and whose only object is to game your system for airdrops and the like freebies. This is the scenario on Twitter. I don't know much about the Facebook angle, but maybe that too has a similar problem.

Hence, the rush for crypto/ blockchain conferences, so that genuine, new prospects can be discovered; and the advertiser can put their best show in front of them. Unfortunately, that angle too has dried out now, it's more like every seller pitching to every other seller at these conferences!

The solution is present but tedious to implement. Also, your project needs to be really sound and convincing for this to work. This solution involves directly contacting individuals, whether via Twitter, or their email, or even using direct mail. So, first you need to identify the genuine people who could be prospects, and then reach them, even using direct mail where necessary.

Stop trying to second guess whales. They are termed "whales" precisely because they are mammoth, in the sense of possession of endless resources. How they manipulate or deploy these assets may or may not be a function of the intrinsic market strength, it might as well be their individual inclinations.

Here's a fictional scenario:
At lower prices, most miners will pack up, opening the threat of a 51 percent attack by criminals. If they target the first million coins (in Satoshi's wallet), it's essentially GAME OVER for the integrity of the Blockchain stands permanently compromised.

But, seriously speaking, is that plausible in real life? DYOR!

Whatever be the pros and cons, the merits and demerits, of either side in this debate; one thing is certain: the answer that ensures we will know for sure starts becoming apparent only circa 2020, 2021, 2022.

Until then, everything, on either side ("there are good people on both sides"!), is pure speculation. Also, until that final revelation of reality strikes home, nobody knows anything!

If Blockchain fails, it's back to centralised databases for everyone. At best, they might construct immutable databases. But, that's a poor fix for the "trustless, permissionless" requirement problem. Hence, some might be tempted to try out the half-way fix of the Hyperledger, and sharding, etc. But then, that's still technically "Blockchain". So, it's difficult to imagine how Blockchain might fail entirely, because there are layer upon layers of it's functionality; most of them being the ones that won"t disappear even if one or a few of the other layers gets discredited.

There's some coding change required in the SMF Forum software before it can actually successfully redirect to the entered Telegram address. Currently, it is hard-coded for the previous, now discontinued options.

The exchange operators are undoubtedly undertaking arbitrage trading, which is a trade on the difference in value at the particular exchanges at any given time.  But, they do not affect the larger market sentiment, which is driven by demand and supply factors, beyond the scope of the trading fluctuations of these exchanges.

Looks like you are finding it difficult to reach your first cohort of 250 people, because the readership of this sub-forum is limited.  Perhaps, you should post a link to this post in another post on the main Bitcoin discussion sub-forum, where there are several more readers, and on the Project Development sub-forum. Then maybe you just might succeed in obtaining 250+ responses.

Remember to always dream big. Of course, in real life you will never best Facebook; but that's no reason why you cannot dream of doing so! For, in that spell of 'madness', maybe, a sudden burst of inspiration will strike you, and your Eureka moment will empower the new social network of tomorrow. There's always a chance, and when that option opens up, there's no reason it couldn't or shouldn't happen barring your own diffidence. So, do your due diligence, and keep your powder dry.

Actually, NO, I wouldn't have ditched her if she had come clean, wanting to get over it. Then, we would've been together in the fight; and I would've most certainly tried to help her the damnedest.

Perhaps, you can add a few more paras on the general benefits of a nicely painted house/ establishment.

Other than that, your site needs the "Terms of Use (ToU)" and "Privacy Policy" pages. Just look up some similar sites and copy-paste whatever you feel is relevant. Additionally, I think your Testimonials should also be placed on a separate "Testimonials" page; never mund the repetition.

Depending on your budget, some design improvements too are in order. But, those ToU and Privacy pages are an absolute must for SEO.

So, last fall, me and this girl, a neighbour in our apartment block, were getting very pally, and I felt it opportune to pop the question. The effect was dramatic, she ran away from me. I used to play a text based MMORPG where a newbie could level up a character within four months. It was pretty exciting and because accumulated game turns maxxed out at six hours, I used to set my alarm clock to wake up early to utilise them to the full.

So, you could have cycles more than a month at a go; or, simultaneously, different games could have varying cycle lengths.

Someday, a space mining company is going to unload a shit-tonload of gold mined from some asteroid onto Planet Earth. And then, what happens to that ancient 'store of value' that thrived on scarcity once it stops being scarce?

OTOH Bitcoin is capped at 21 million coins, eternally. What would be a better example of scarcity at that time in the not-so-distant future? What then should be better entitled to the title: "store of value"!

The threat to Bitcoin can never be from Gold or any other commodity; neither from fiat. It can only come from competitor coins, or from deranged government action assisted by terrifyingly accurate intelligence.
