I worked as a freelancer for BFL and i can act as escrow for your 30k. If they don't ship the ASICs out, you'll of course get your btc back. I'm involved in the hardware part of the project(electrical and housing design), not the ASIC circuit design but I trust the project and the people behind it. I already have invested too much real money&time to just stop and rip anyone off. Contact me in pm if you're interested. I'll provide you with my ID and other verifications in private.

Or maybe you should have read their FAQ, which says that there is a 1000$ daily withdraw limit for unverified users. Wink
To raise the withdraw limit on your account, get verified.

That's for withdrawals in electronic currencies only. If you want to do wire or dwolla withdrawal, you'll have to get verified.

To do wire transfers away from MtGox, you'll have to get verified by the exchanger first(copy of id,utility bills, stamped bank stuff, etc). So it's not that easy to hide the link between you and the money, if you are using an exchange service.

Btw, i'm a verified user at MtGox,Okpay and others, i usually take a 15% commission if you want to withdrawal something through my account/s. contact in pm.  Grin

And yet again...... you did not answer why anyone should trust you.

As said before, a simple (made up,stolen, faked) ID number won't do it. Make it a scan of your real id and a unique photo of you doing something and you have a deal.

really just cuz i am new to a forum im a scammer makes no sense to me  Huh
It's been done many times before, you are not the first one signing up here and instantly asking for a loan. So the answer is YES, you smell like a scammer (a 12 year old scammer who uses "cuz"). You're the new guy asking for a loan, promising 160% refund but you are refusing to provide any security at all...

If you're not a scammer, why do you keep acting stupid on purpose then?

Where do you want to buy the ram?

not realy, all of you are new on bitcointalk.org
I was being sarcastic.

Are you willing to provide a scan of your ID (or a photo with a shoe on your head) ?
(ID scan only to serious investors, private message only)
haha i can give my id number if needed
I don't think that he was joking. You're new. You have no reputation. You want a big loan. You will need to provide some evidence that the id number, you are willing to give, really belongs to you. Like a photo with your id card next to your face and some kind of "unique" photo as the requested "shoe on head" to proof the id photo isn't stolen from someone else.

Re: Bitcoin Debit Card!
by
droledabin
on 26/08/2012, 16:10:26 UTC
The card contains a system on a chip. A terminal would not have access to files on the chip. The terminal can comunicate with the system on a chip and provide electrical power to the system on a chip. The terminal would NOT have access to the wallet.dat. The SoC on the card would sign the transaction by itself. The terminal would only be used to provide access to the blockchain for the SoC and for the customer to see the transaction ammount and type in the pin. It would only act as an gateway, it would only "see" the already signed transaction passing through.

The main issues with such cards would be that the producer of the SoC would need the wallet.dat during manufacturing (like they also need the private security tokens when they produce regular chip protected electronic cash cards for regular banking accounts). So you would need to find a trustworthy producer.
Second issue would be that Bitcoin transactions need confirmations, it would just take to long to wait for 3 or 6 confirmations when you just want to pay for something in a supermarket.
