you need to download bios data from your gpu, edit with bios editor like srbpolaris (work only on window) then flahs it back on target gpu.
Be carefull wrong data can compromise your gpu or also impossible to boot it.
If you don't know what to do you need to use window and use amd software to edit freq and voltage to find better then edit your bios with this values.

If you use smos you can change them on web app, my power consume is 1090 watt at wall 8 x rx480 (1170/2200 -> 30.6mhs each)
/sys/class/drm/card(Number)/device/power_dpm_force_performance_level must be manual
/sys/class/drm/card(Number) should be number of dpm state that you choiched

I use roc kernel on smos and consume it is the same, maybe you changed power step (consume is setup at level of bios of gpu, i have steps from 2 to 7 to my target voltage), check them on console.

bit easy go on amd web site and get amd for linux there is instruction to install driver

When you undervolt the steps you must also use all same value example there are 6/7 steps, from 2° to higest must use same value, cause on linux TP auto select index or you can also force to use it.

Anyway use SRBPolaris and everything will be good. on rx 480 i use 975mv memory and 920mv gpu (1190mhz)

nobody talk people invested into rx 400/500 with bug of eth hashdrop, people build mining farm with this gpu, amd release mining version based on this cards with this bug 

atm he working on nicehash team, i don't think he have time/can work on this miner.

If is true eth will switch to POS faster ... we expect pos on next year but if is true asic on network i think they will switch to pos system about settember

Maybe it copy some part of code, but it redesign it, cause it have dual mining at same time (it is not to easy to implement) he also added multi stratum protocol (eth-proxy (default), nicehash, ethstratum) and remake algo.
Consider also it make multiple program eth-dual, zec, and monero, not just one miner like genoil, then i don't think it copy the old code.

About eth-proxy i tried to upgrade it and test on ethmine.org after authorization i have always bad json request (also if program not send data) (i get proof of code from ethminer, work, and you can choice from 3 different stratum protocol).
