Re: Bitcoin vs Gold? Which one you would choose to invest for long term? Why ?

Good is traditional mean of value, and Bitcoin will become a second biggest one, soon. Bitcoin and block chain technology have changed the world, and Bitcoin will take over the leading position of Gold as main mean of value storage soon. By now, people still hesitated because highly changing in Bitcoin price, but over next few years, 4 or 6, I believe they will change their perspective on Bitcoin.

Looks like Netherlands have taken a firm second place ranking, behind the USA. For more information check above link (i had to cut the overview a bit).

Surprise to see that Latin America continent has no nation in the top list. Latin America have some biggest communities of DASH, especially in Venezuela, Colombia. I remember that early this year or in late 2018, I saw a video from DASH channel that Venezuela and Colombia are among nations that have biggest communities for DASH, just behind USA and Canada. The list above shows top three includes USA, Netherlands and Germany.

Bitcoin and Gold, they both will rise in values next years. They might rise considerably if Mr.Trump win his second tenure. However, if you ask me which asset I would prefer for my portfolio between Gold and Bitcoin. My answer is : "Definitely, I choose bitcoin for my port folio, only bitcoin. I will all in invest in bitcoin"

Altcoins season is not needed as many are worthless coins which you’re not even supposed to be holding in your portfolio, what you should do is hodl good alts like Ethereum, Litecoins etc. These altcoins have given higher returns over a period of time and I believe they’ll continue to do so.
In altcoin seasons, there are only good altcoins will recover. It is not a season for all altcoins, and shit altcoins, scam coins will be excluded from the altcoin season. Ethereum, Litecoin, DASH, Ripple, Stellar, Dogecoin, etc. good altcoins will rise in altcoin season. In contrast, shit altcoins will be stucked in mud, maybe forever, and they might end at zero value, in satoshis, or in fiats.

Re: What threats does Libra pose on Bitcoin?
by

Libra has been halted for now, by the USA government. Maybe in months to come, the USA governments might allow Libra to launch, but for now it has been halted. Libra, if we look at its whitepater, originally planned to create not as a threat or competitor of bitcoin. I believe Facebook and Libra team will maintain their original ideas for the future growths and development of Libra and ecosytem around Libra.

Cryptocurrency is dicey and risky. That's what I always say so you need to play your cards well. I believe there will definitely be altcoins season and for that no one knows. You need to invest in potential coins and not shitcoins to  make profits when the season comes
Altcoins since today are safe assets for investors. They will also help investors to enrich their balance, in fiats or in bitcoin, whatsoever, they are safe choices to invest. Bitcoin will have to witness its very long-lasting corrections, and won't come back soon. Now, it is start day of altcoin season. They all turned into green colors yesterday, and today they received strong confirmations from bitcoin falls.

Thank you for your regularly updates on developments of LOKI project. The beta version of LOKI Android app sounds very potential, and it might bring big motivation for LOKI growths in coming months, that are a important period for altcoins in general, too. Altcoins might see their season upcoming months or they will have to end this year with Bear, which kind of scenario is what we all don't expect.

In fact, Bitcoin dominated market that can be easily seen through Bitcoin dominance rate.
In contrast, altcoin dominance rate falls. However, Bitcoin and altcoin total market cap and volume increased compared to their starts early this year. I saw crypto market on the way to explode. Volume is the most important signal of long term growths.

Re: Ethereum Price (ETH) Correcting Gains: Dips Favored Near $224

It's not depends on bitcoin and it's never increasing in term of the bitcoin value. it's really sad to see that ohw ethereum was doing something doesn't seem good for every holders. it keeps loose its value in bitcoin terms but ethereum is only pegged to the dollar value of bitcoin. This situation is worst compared with the price of ethereum before IEO booming.
Never increasing again in Bitcoin value, in ETH/BTC pair. Are you so serious about that, my friend? I believe Ethereum (not only this coin, but other good altcoins too) will rally considerably in Bitcoin values in just a next few weeks, at least they will start rallying till the end of this year. Price drops simply to play as preparational, reconsolidational prerequisites for future rises.

Re: How often do you check crypto prices?
by
dungp3132
on 12/08/2019, 06:11:53 UTC
I check crypto prices every day because it is my only way to earn money and I have not another profession. Thats why I am active crypto trader.
Checking crypto price everyday might give you pressure. Pressure might be huge if you buy at highs, and when checking price everyday, only see price falling down. It is interesting to observe price everyday if you buy at bottoms. In contrast, if you choose strong altcoins, but unfortunately buy at highs, not at all time highs, you should only observe price one or two times per week. Strong altcoins will rally sooner or later, checking their price everyday don't help them raising sooner.

Re: How safe is Tether.to/USDT?
by
dungp3132
on 12/08/2019, 05:55:11 UTC
There are no stablecoins out there, which we can trust 100%. Earlier I used to trust Tether, but later it was proven that they didn't backed up their tokens 100%. Bitfinex used funds from the Tether backup to cover its own losses. That makes you wonder whether any of these stablecoins are reliable. Now the Tether market cap has zoomed past the $4 billion mark. And to this date, they haven't completed external audit from any of the reliable third party vendors.

There are other stablecoins out there such as USDC, TUSD, GUSD and PAX. But after the bad experience we had from Tether, how is it possible to trust these coins? And one more thing. A recent analysis revealed that more than 80% of all the Tether tokens are being stored in just 318 addresses. This should rise enough eyebrows in my opinion. There is no other cryptocurrency out there, which has such a skewed distribution. Not even Ripple, which is regarded as the most centralized crypto.
I totally agree with your perspective. It is true not only for stable coins, for Tether USD in particular, but it is true for other things in our lives, especially in crypto market. If biggest exchanges like Poloniex, Bittrex can tail off and lose their market significantly within short period; it is possible to see Tether USD lose its position as the biggest stable coin in the future. Tether USD recently has upgrade or tried to bring more convenience to users, by switching partially to TRON, Ethereum network, rather than sticking with OMNI as it originally built. It's a good move, but not a guarentee for Tether USD's future growth.

Re: Facebook Warns Investors That Libra Stablecoin May Never Launch
by
dungp3132
on 11/08/2019, 11:43:09 UTC
If the founders of Libra had been less known, it would have been a different case but allowing Libra to launch is basically like the world government giving a green light to all Cryptocurrencies and they are not willing to do that yet, I expected this amount of scrutiny though.
Facebook is founder of Libra, in general, and Mark Zuckerberg in particular. Nevertheless, the role of Libra in crypto market finished, after it boosted the crypto market in April and May this year, then bitcoin took advantages of positive things around Libra, and rocketed to nearly $14000. In months to come, I will wait for more fresh things, beyond Libra, to see Bitcoin keep moving up. For Libra, in particular, I don't understand why people over FOMO about that stable coin, which probably won't give them any kind of benefits from investment.

The period to trade Ethereum in fiat pairs has nearly finished. It indirectly means that Ethereum (and other altcoins) will jump in period in which they will rise considerably in Altcoin/ BTC pairs. Overworry and abuse price models/predictions are very bad strategy.

Re: Can Ethereum survive below 0.02 BTC per coin?
by
dungp3132

If you closely look at price chart of Ethereum in the ETH/BTC pair, looking backwards to 2017, and early of 2018, you will see that Ethereum now has nearly repeated its history pattern. Fractal movements of Ethereum have come closely to end period, so the coin will rocket soon. I think if altcoin season comes, Ethereum might move closely to around 0.06 BTC for one Ethereum coin.

Many people who joined airdrops like blockchain.com giveaways has come from 3rd world countries in my opinion and this data that you said that might get stolen are not so useful and not interesting to stole you know what I mean? This are ordinary people trying to earn some small amount of crypto and educating themselves about blockchains if you are rich and has private data to protect will you join those airdrops for some bucks?
Sure, but their identities will have important role in their lives at some period later. Maybe  years after the day they do their KYCs to receive airdrops, bounties. Sometimes, they feel they won't have other options to reject KYCs, but maybe later they will understand they are wrong.

For attracting the bounty hunters, campaign managers put the USD worth amount on the title of the thread. HYPE is bad in crypto, it is not going to give the bounty hunter what he is looking for. There is no rich life in the crypto world, there is hard, smart work but some people prefer to believe in the lies. Having a big expectation will lead to depression if the outcome gonna be different.
They are estimated figures, and mostly incorrect in real situation, when tokens traded on exchanges. Not only bounty hunters, but also investors should not use such mostly incorrect estimations for their investments. I meant they might decide to step in those projects when price drops lower than estimated prices. It will give them more safely investments, but even this it won't guarentee that they won't get loss.

It soon will be there, the alts bull eventually will happen and it will bring a good benefits to those who still believing and trusting the industry, as of now the market still stuck and the bear continue to dominate the alts market, still a good time for investors to choose the project to support and buy while the value still cheaper.
Bitcoin stucked and fluctuated from $9400 to $10000 (a little bit above $10000), and altcoins shown their good responses by standing strongly above their bottom ranges. In fact, they all slowly recovered in last four weeks. I believed that altcoins will keep gradually rally

It took me one month to decide to provide my KYC to blockchain.com, maybe I was influenced by hype during that time. Unfortunately, after my KYC got verified, the airdrop is on hold and they put me on the waiting list to receive the airdrop. I kind a regret my decision but what is done is done.
I don't think so, if you are not cheater, your KYCs will passed fastly, and you will receive your airdrop shortly. I did not have issuses with airdrops on blockchain.com, and lots of others too. So, till now, has you actually received your airdrops or not?

Recently I saw many projects implementing bounty with very low budget. But after the successful project of the IEO, the price increased 20-50 times. And the budget for bounty also increased by 20-50 times. Don't look at the price of IEO or ICO, do it and wait for them to be listed at the exchange
There are opposite sides, and price increases after IEOs do not guarentee that those projects will get success and survive in the market in the long run. Crypto market is so harsh place for new projects and new exchanges to compete against old ones to survive and grow. Early success is good, but not enough; and projects need time to prove their quality and reliability.
