With the VPN app youre not using same IP even it's free.

But with the proxy website you all are using same IP.

Well I'm using VPN now but it's still quite inconvenient. And the recaptcha needs to click at least two images which is actually slower than entering the verification code. I still prefer the previous version.

I'm a real old member and today i have back to site and i'm very happy to see you have changed a captcha code for see adv with recaptcha ( i like more recaptcha, because is more simply for use, don't only write, by click to image), thanks

I'm not happy about it since recaptcha is provided by google, which is blocked in China.  Embarrassed
Now I have to buy some VPNs to use CoinAD...

Don't have a free vpn services in your country? Or its slow that you want a premium one Smiley

The free VPN has a common IP address, I often find the ads are finished by other users who share the same IP.

by
duskast
on 26/03/2015, 05:13:24 UTC

Hi all,

One of my friends is opening some business related to Bitcoin, while his customers need some tutorials about using the exchanges. However, it's a bit difficult and time-taking to pass the exchanges' verification, so he would like to ask some guys that already have accounts to complete a simple tutorial.

It should contain text and screenshots about:
1. Register an account
2. Deposit fiat money to the exchanges
3. Buy & sell bitcoin
4. Withdraw fiat money

The exchanges in the list are:
1. Bitstamp
2. btc-e
3. Coinbase
4. kraken
5. itBit
6. Bitfinex
7. ANX
8. CaVirtex

Please pm me if you're interested, remarking the exchanges that you choose. For each exchange, I'll send you 0.5/8 = 0.0625 bitcoin.

Thanks a lot.

I'm not sure if I'm interested yet.
If you are able to do escrow, you might get more response.

Thanks for your attention.
An escrow is quite necessary - you're right. But as I'm doing this the first time, could you please tell me how to look for some guy to do the escrow?

你们啊too simple, sometimes naive。

Hi, glad to answer your questions and enter the contest.

For people like me who trade bitcoins quite often in Chinese exchanges, it's a common sense that the first top 3 exchanges in BTC/RMB are BTCChina, OKCoin and Huobi. Following is a short summery of what I know about these exchanges.

1. BTCChina (btcchina.com)
This is the first bitcoin exchange in China, which was founded in 2011. As I know, most of the Chinese bitcoiners believe it has the best reputation among the top Chinese exchanges, with three main services: the exchange (support both BTC and LTC), the bitpay-like payment service (JustPay), and the mining pool. The deposit of RMB is via an agent code called BTCC-Code, which you could only buy from BTCChina's partener agency. Trading UI is simple and convenient (but the UI changed several times since 2013), no lags or network latency. Website languages are both Chinese and English so I think it's not difficult for you to start with. Besides, they also offer a PC client trading tool.

2. OKCoin (okcoin.cn)
Actually OKCoin is also good but as they broke their promise for several times (about the trading fee, the BTC future and lever etc), especially due to the fake trading volume, I think its reputation is not as good as BTCChina. Nevertheless, it offers BTC future trading so for some people it's the best place. You could deposit via Bank and OK-Code (just like BTCC-Code), normally it's faster than BTCChina. UI is easy to use and remains the same since 2013 (good for user experience). Mobile apps and PC client are also available.

3.  Huobi (huobi.com)
Like OKCoin, Huobi also provides BTC future trading. But I rarely trade bitcoins on it because once (March 21st this year) its poor risk-control system led to severe margin call accident (LTC/RMB rate fell to 1), and the victims didn't get compensations as they promised. So I doubt their ability to run such business. On the other side, trading UI is OK, and deposit is quick.

0.2 BTC sent. Submit your report via private message. Better if a link to a document via GoogleDocs or Dropbox.

please elaborate more on the exact process of depositing and withdrawing money. Let's assume that our user has 1 RMB bank account with ICBC and 1 UnionPay debit card from ICBC. The user lives in a small town with no other infrastructure that the ICBC branch. How does he deposit RMB into his exchange account, and how does he withdraw RMB from his exchange account? What limits are there? Let's say he would like to exchange 5,000,000 RMB per month. in both directions - buy and sell.

0.2 BTC received, thank you. I will start soon to finish the report, is there a deadline?

Hi, glad to answer your questions.

First of all, concerning the attitude towards bitcoin in China, two groups should be taken into account: the government and the normal people. On the contrary of some media reports, the government doesn't ban bitcoin exchanges in China, but only limit the business between banks and exchanges. So yes we could buy or sell bitcoins but it's very inconvenient to deposit fiat to exchange. In my opinion this is just to reduce the fanatical speculation on bitcoin (like what happened in 2013), I don't think the government pays much attention on bitcoin or Bitcoin technology per se, since the total volume is only billions of dollars which could have very few effects on the economy. On the other side, most of the Chinese people don't know about bitcoin, and among those who heard of it, they regard it as fraud. So don't be deceived by the trading volumes in Chinese exchanges, just a small amount of people (may be thousands but I'm not sure) buy and sell the same bitcoins on them as speculation and consequently raise the volume. In Shanghai, one of the most modernized and international cities in China, people's attitudes on bitcoin are still very ignorant and negative, needless to say in those under-developed cities.

But we still have good news, there're people who don't treat it as speculation (or more roundly, gambling). We have medias focused on bitcoin itself and its technology, and some start-ups begin to set foot in bitcoin payment (the same business model as Bitpay but ours focus on Chinese market).

So this is my impression about bitcoin's situation in China: 90% speculation and 10% application. It's not very positive, but whatever, time will tell. If you would like to tip this is my address: 1As4Twy2RwNu9UbHsKw15by8kpEe2SbBLm

Carlos pay me, It seems that it has disappeared of his page ud because it does not answer email not msj in helpdesk
His debt with me is:

03:08 November 06, 2014    0.17063 mBTC    pending
06:01 October 30, 2014    0.15166 mBTC    pending

A question, does coinAd work?

No, it's not working, not paying, not answering.

Site reported at www.badbitcoin.org. I recommend you to report and stop clicking.

Hey dude, just be patient, Carlos intended to pay but something was wrong with the payment script so that the payments were sent to the same 100 addresses 56 times!

Check out this: https://blockchain.info/zh-cn/address/1969VR2qCchXMW94tpcYirbVLUfFw4Pw7b

It turns out that the fucking payment script has been sending the same payment to the same 100 addresses over and over again. Things that have been working perfectly fine for months suddenly decide to stop working, it makes perfect sense.

With the transactions record on blockchain I just want to say Carlos was absolutely not cheating.

I've been using coinad for 1 year and Carlos always pays on time. The accident on Nov 07 was a great loss to Carlos, so I think he just has to fix the payment bugs before resuming the payments.

Carlos, if the loss is really big for you, you could reduce the btc/per click payed to users for some days. I totally understand you.
