Investing in alcoins now is a good idea, but you should not invest all in one alt, you have to invest a little in different altcoins, because the risks are reduced to a minimum. diversification should be always the option

До обеда занимаюсь физическим трудом, а после обеда и до вечера отдыхаю у компьютера, что приносит особое наслаждение.
Согласен, нужно сочетать.

Well, how much you lost on the "Bitcoin's Black Friday"?
I decided to hodl since the middle of the year, was pretty tired of following this rigmarole. Now I'm sad to see the current rates.
I heard there's kinda insurance schemes for saving your assets, does anyone know more? Like everyone else, I'm waiting for Christmas gifts, but I already wanna get some cushion from these adventures.

If I were to ask, I think there is nobody who would offer insurance for cryptocurrency. A volatile investment is not that effective to be insured and would possibly a deficit for the insurance company's assets.
Every real investment needs an insurance. Instead of this we'll have the pachinko market like to play and win/ or not

sold at $205, but didn't lost much
as for insurance, i can say that it's pretty hard to implement. it'll take long time to establish the whole crypto-related insurance system, there're many nuances an so on. anyway, just my opinion

Looks like it's the question of time.
Even for the well-established third party companies, innit? Still curious about this thing tho

What are your thoughts and opinions on the future of crypto? Looking forward to hearing from you guys.

The technology is the future. Right now the whole crypto market is cleaning from the scammers after the hype — hope this is a good process which will lead to the progressive market solution.

Re: Will the Ethereum survive the new influx of games?
by

How dangerous are new projects for the real use of blockchain? We have already seen the story of the CryptoKitties, which brought down the Ethereum network. Can this happen again now? What projects can now grow in such a way that will affect the work of the network itself?
I haven't heard anything about good gameplay for such projects. Not so sure about the Ethereum network, but cryptokitties and others (numerous of) are same: buy something that's correlated with the project's token. Technically those are not real games, but another sauce to sell us more dishes called scammy ICO tokens.

I don't know where you heard about cryptokitties and other ethereum games, but they are not scam. It's a collective game with microtransactions.
It's just a game and they are not stealing people's money. They have done a great job and many other projects just copied them.

Eth network had problems when cryptokitties released, but it was just for a few days/hours and never happened again. It was a good network test and was positive for the network. If ethereum is to grow, many games like this are going to be online

I am talking about the method, not the concrete project. Like poodle63 commented, if we're speaking about the games, we need to mention the values of gameplay, scenario and design. And you're exactly right, i've mentioned clones.

July 1 is the date of presale beginning, and the main stage starts on September 15, as it said in WP.

A couple of months away then. Well, I'll be following the news in the meantime. The project kinda caught my interest.
