I have the same cards on a rig with 13.12 : 470H/s per card (280X)
but 280H/s with 14.6, with or without the opencl files in the directory.

VTX card, Hynix memory.

I have 9(well 10, but blew a psu so only running 9 right now) r9 280x toxic. I havent mined anything in the past month(due to lack of profits/heat) and trying to set-up for darkcoin.
Tried 4x different miners at 4 pools with multipler miners created. Everytime it says "waiting for work to be available form pools". I am running WIN 8 64bit and a bat file.

I tried 2x p2pools using 2 different darkcoin wallets and two different regular pools
Miners I have tried are regular sgminer, x11mod minder,sgminer mar 22 2014(there was one more, but i forget). With the same result "waiting for work to be available form pools".. I can mine scrypt and scrypt-n coins just fine. I have no firewall set-up, no UAC, sdk 2.9 13.11 drivers.

Now If soneone can figure this out i'll mine to your account for 48 hours with all 9 cards. or send what I can mine in two days worth of darkcoins to an address of your choice

We only changed the stratum port from 4444 to new port 3332 in the bat file. Nothing else was changed.

What's new:

1. Added "-hc" option to improve stability for some cards/systems.
2. Added "-ss 2" option to reduce CPU usage even more.
3. Changed GUI: now with "s" key you can select minimal/detailed statistics.
4. Added estimated and average CPD (chains per day) values.

Well this is really driving me crazy my other rig again doesn't work TRT on 0 after reinstalling windows i don't think i should do this again.
it happened after i saw Hashcnt below 512 on my 280x and TRT was on 400 i set the gpu max alloc to 100 and from then and until now its on zero and gpu usage 20% no matter what i change or do.

is there any quick fix for this claymore?

Try not setting ...GPU 100 in .bat files
It helps for my rig with low-cost-cpu.

What if remove 4 of 6 cards, i.e. leave only two cards? Do they both work properly? In my tests I used up to 4 cards, never tried >4.

what can cause this? i have another rig with exact same hardware that works! just ssd is dieffrent.
on the rigs that work i have nofee 1 and gpu usage stays on 65-70%. is it ok?

i have two rigs with 5x280x each! exact same hardware pentium haswell with h81 pro btc
with version2.0

g1610 h61b 8G 270*6 doesnt work.
Only main card plug on pcie 16x can get 60k 4ch,98% GPU useage.
the others got 99% GPU useage at the first 2 senonds,and drop to 0.
it can run any other crypto like: scrypt,scrypt-N,X11 etc, use all 6 cards.
an other rig with 280*4  works fine, 110k 4ch per card.
